This is nothing more than troll-bait as its just a running “no true scotsman” fallacy as the poster can easily say what is QQ/Chest thumping and I could say the very same of a lot of SoR posters already. Its just another way for specific SoR posters to be obnoxious on the forums , even the TC match-up was full of the same venom. As for example, this post would not be counted as QQ by the OP if it was posted by a guy on SoR, but most likely since I am on BG it will be seen as QQ. I respect the guys who try be good sports, but there are some guys that just give a bad view of a lot of servers – especially when its full on venom straight off the bat. Everyone here speaks for themselves only and not as a guild or server, so take everything you see here with a grain of salt.

Regardless, the match-up should be fun – we’ll see you in the BL’s, it wouldn’t be the old T1 match-up without the challenge.

Pre-emptive post here… While clearing guards at NW tower on BGBL about 10 minutes ago we had an [AoS] guild mate get knocked through the closed gate. He jumped straight back out without killing anything inside and we decided to leave the tower alone after killing the guards to get out of combat. Bugs are unavoidable but not exploiting them is a choice. Hope y’all understand.

I think the /facepalm was directed towards the tier reference because it is no longer valid.

In other words, BG didn’t get their 4th gold in T1, JQ didn’t get their 14th silver, and DB didn’t get their first bronze. I am not trying to be disrespectful to Fuzzy, just pointing out the truth that pretty much everything about his post, though well intended, is simply wrong.

Congrats on winning this match up though BG.

I think most citations of tiers are people trying to troll, seriously or lightheartedly. But, unless SoR can make up 5 points or so in the final hours, BG will have taken the #1 spot, which would be the equivalent of gold I suppose. Either way a congrats is well deserved.

Teasing aside, its great to fight you guys again, its something SF has really missed the last few months. Every guild needs a healthy friendly rival!

I am out of town tonight and tomorrow but I guarantee [LOVE] will bring fierce snuggles!

The reason is JQ has a lot of PvE and PvX guilds and SoR, comparatively, has a much larger percentage of their population that is strictly WvW and doesn’t PvE.

Most of JQ, a few exceptions, have ceased traditional trolling and replaced it with [LOVE], going to bread and other such silliness because we like to have fun and snuggle each other fiercely!

Theres nothing wrong with a guild having its own voice chat server. Lots of guilds on JQ do it and JQ has always gotten a long fine that way. Heck, I remember one night when SF had one guy in our server, WARD’s server AND JQ TS server. All the same guy. Dude is an awesome multitasker. He also grew up in Zimbabwe, Britain, New Zealand, Uruguay and Soviet Russia ALSO all at the same time. His name is Cue, and he is the sexiest man alive.

On the off chance that anet fixes whatever programming glitch it was for the rematching system, I want to take the chance to give a big SF HUG and LOVE SNUGGLE to SoR and BG for all these long months of “Oh, these guys again” as well as cheer on the treasure that our Great Lady CuddleStrike, Grand Empress of TIER 1 has given us in the form of [LOVE]. I hope everyone continues to pass on the tradition of [LOVE] secretly deciding who gets to win each week as we move forward into, hopefully, less stale matchups.

I’ll keep it pretty straightforward. I’m colorblind, red/green colorblind. This presents a moderately annoying problem when it comes to the circles indicating spell effects, most noticeably in wvw where I spent a majority of my time in game. The ability to change the colors of enemy/friendly circles would be pretty neato. For example, as it is right now, if I want to know if AC fire is friendly/unfriendly, I have to stand in it to see if I get hit. That kinda sucks.

Yes, that is more or less an accurate summary of what SF did. There were other reasons too but who had/needed coverage was a big factor. JQ does have a great community though, we’re not going to be moving again no matter what because we do love it in the Jed Quarry =3
