No, you can log in while downloading.

Are you using your username or your email to log in?

And you can log onto the forum, it uses the same info as the game. You could find your password in your internet tools.

As far as I know from seeing it on the forum, a refund is only given if Ncsoft was the retailer

Your account it yours and you can access it everywhere.
So there should not be a problem, unless the country itself has limits to access.

As for changing servers, you could do that by simply buying a transfer with gems, keeping your existing account. Or if you wanted some sort of fresh start, you can also delete all your characters and then move for free. It will render some items useless and delete the ones you didn’t put in your bank.

Have you tried just downloading the installer? If you bought a hard copy they gave you a serial. That’s really all you need.

No, you will have to wait 7 days before you are allowed to transfer again (6 for you now).

You can always get help, there are other ways of proving the account is yours.
But your password is working here and it is the same one you need to enter the game.
You might wanna check your internet tools to see what it is.

You tried link to a closed account, you would have needed a completely new one with email and all.
You will need to file a ticket, go to support and then ask a question.

If they do do a rollback it will be to some point before you got hacked, so if all you did before that was play the necro then you should be fine. But they will rollback the whole account, not just one toon.

Remember though, once you have had a rollback on your account and you get hacked again, they won’t give you a second rollback. So make sure your account is save and maybe change your email too if that hasn’t been done yet.

And if you happened to delete the toon that has used those before, then you can’t equip them anymore.

You should submit a ticket, you never know what might come from it.

I can understand your apprehension to go and ask them. But what about the risk of getting found out (cause they will) and having your connection stopped because you used something to circumvent their system.
See, it’s not about the game or wanting to play it, it’s because you are wanting to do something that isn’t legal. Cause if it was, there would be no block.

I’m sure they will understand and if not you need to get your own connection. I mean if other games are allowed they will probably help you play and at the same time you’ll get a white foot with them cause you were up front about it. They might not even know it’s being blocked to begin with.

I kinda figured this was the situation. But my answer stays the same. It’s a network that is being controlled and in order for you to not get in trouble, you will have to talk to the admins of the network.
The admins are the only ones able to allow you to play.

Don’t get me wrong though, I fully understand you wanting to play. But this is not really an issue with the game but with the network you are using.

Hey, Just wondering, I’m completly new, and i was wondering if there is a proffession that is more beneficial for a player with no outstanding rescources. And if there is, could you kindly explain why? thanks in advance

I would say look at your character and choose a crafting profession suitable.
Just start playing and the mats will come. If you are in no rush there is no need to spend a lot of money.

When I started, my first crafting professions were Chef and Jeweler. Chef because all characters can use that stuff and it can help you along the way while playing.

Also, if you want to ever make a legendary weapon, you will need certain crafting professions at max so you can also look at it from that perspective.

I’m having the same problem using a computer specifically built for GW2. I had it installed a while back, and for some reason deleted it. Now that I’m trying to reinstall it, I can’t.

Have you ever been able to play? Because your report shows a standard VGA graphics card that is not built for gaming and is most likely the reason the game won’t install. And with all the update the game has had over the year, I would not be surprised if the minimum requirements to play have gone up.

I honestly have no clue, I bought the Deluxe one with heroic too just cause I didn’t have Deluxe yet anyway.

Wiki does state that you can buy the game with only heroic.

The block is there for a reason. If you want to play on the network, go about it the right way and contact the owner of the network and ask them to allow you to play the game.

It looks like it.

The card is the exact minimum of what you’d need to play. But it has also been stated that the requirements change over time with new updates and such.
And because it’s a laptop, there is no easy fix.
Only thing I can think of is to check if you are running all the latest drivers.

Oh, that’s not good.
That card is an onboard card and not suitable for gaming.

Your laptop comes in different versions. Yours does not have the card I mentioned above and the card you do have will sometimes run the game, but mostly it won’t.
I expect it’s also the cause of your game not downloading.

Try running DXDIAG, it should show your card in the second tab.

These specs are not complete, what about your Graphics card?
I think it should be this one: NVIDIA GeForce GT 525M
And that card should be able to run the game.

The reason it’s so hard to change your email is because having the easy option makes it to easy on the hackers.

You can post your ticket number in the sticky for tickets older then 72 hours.
