Cause in the other thread Gaile says there is no time frame known yet for when the change gets implemented.
Until they do, the scythe will remain soul-bound.

Unless it’s a matter of hours, no. It’s a tactic to get new players.
You don’t get money back if your tv suddenly goes on sale 5 months after you bought it and the same goes here.
You can however buy the extra’s in game.

I’m pretty certain that if they found your account selling gold and telling you it was hacked and then reinstated it to you, that that is what actually happened.
Just be glad you have your account back and make sure it’s now safe. (Not all hacked account show ip’s in your list)
Hackers try their best to leave no trace of their actions.
You’ll need to change everything regardless. They already have access to your account so at least a password change is in order.
But how does one get permission? Cause if it is compromised and in game is the only way to contact them, there won’t be permission.
I would revoke important guild rights too. If he is the same person he will contact you.
Well, unfortunately this is considered a player mistake and 99% of those will not get their items back from support.

It could be from an email and yes, saying that in game could get you reported.
It has happened before, that is why it’s important with email to write an explanation as to why your sending a lot of gold. Because your account can get flagged. support does check the email, so if legit no action will be taken.
As for automated, I have no clue.
Anet however does not have to explain anything though, just be glad you can play again.

As for the armor, you can only put one mantle in your PvP Locker. That skin can then be used by all PvP characters you have.
So basically you can delete the duplicates or put them in the bank.

Have you ever emailed (in game) someone with a lot of gold? To maybe get the achievement?
Sometimes that looks like selling gold and gets flagged. Doesn’t mean it was right though.

You can report the player in game by selecting their name and using report.
Or, and I’m not sure if GW2 uses it too, type “/report playername” (without quotes), cause that used to work in GW

Did you go through support to request your email change?
Because once you register gw2 with an email, the only way to change it is through support.
Also, is is not a tech issue but an account issue.

Do you have enough room on your hd and how is it formatted? (FAT32 can only handle files of 4 gig’s)

Well if you got hacked you should contact support. They are able to do a rollback of your account. But make sure your computer is safe, cause if it ever happens again they will not do a second rollback.

Yes, I buy my gems like that too. I use a website that I trust that sends me the serial code.
That code I can then apply to my account or send it to a friend as a gift and have them use the code in game to add the gems to their account.
Well a serial code for a game is actually something you should save. But that’s besides the point.

Is your character actually a year old? You can check in game by typing /age.
Because you do not get a gift for your account being a year old, but your character(s) get a present on their birthday.

Well the upgrade is used to upgrade your existing account. If you buy it in game, it gets added to your account and you get an email (in game) with the goodies.
So it does not buy you a new account, that’s only when you buy a normal digital deluxe version instead of the upgrade.

It was a free item and this is what is called a “user mistake”. There are no refunds in this case.
Also, this is not a technical issue but an account issue.
Remember though, a restoration only happens once! If you get hacked again, they can give you back your account but won’t restore it a second time.
So make sure you are protected.

Also, you might wanna check the card for dust and clean it out if it’s overheating.
Could the emails be in your spam folder?
Are you using your usermane to log in or your email? It needs to be your email.
And you could check your browser tools to see your password, to make sure it is indeed the correct one.
Are you using your username or email? Because you need to use your email.

Creating a ticket and posting on the same day is frowned upon.
You will have to be patient and if you hear nothing within 3 days, you can post your ticket number in the sticky on the front page of this sub-forum, tickets 3 days and older.
I am certain support will fix this issue but you will have to be patient.

Hhmm, are there still members of that guild on your old server then?
Cause I don’t know if a new account can get into that guild vault without an invite.
It’s the only way though, I am sure they will take waiting time into account.
