Commanding in EU usually meant that I would’ve had to have taken militia and coordinate dual hits with HB and RK – staying up to fight them to see how they would fare (tbh they had a low guildee showing) wasn’t because I wanted to burn at both ends and was doing overtime. If you command a lot you often want to see if the guys you usually play with are up to scratch, playing in EU was more because I was curious to see if RK/PLX/HB would smash my group (95% JQ militia) as JQ has been historically weak in EU as it has no current guilded presence. There is plenty of militia in that time-slot, all they need is someone to lead them (cough cough, need EU guilds).
The best fights I’ve had all year have been against the BG ones since we left, as we cut a lot of dead weight from the guild when we moved off. Making a 3rd underdog server that hasn’t been competitive for first place for competitive again is part of the enjoyment you get from leading and JQs community is just as welcoming as BGs was. We are still the only guilded presence that has its prime ~5-9pm AEST as opposed to the previously stacked BG OC which had 3 OC guilds that usually ended in a ROFL-stomp on BGs behalf mostly from the part of them having a large militia and guild presence 24/7. We improved competition by moving as JQ was legitamately the underdog when it came to competition, as having one-sided fights is fun for no-one and moving from the previously Rank 1 server to the previously Rank 3 shifts the meta of T1 so that we get more fights in more timezones as opposed to everyone stacking in their respective timezones.

Really just about any server except maybe the lower tier ones would fit the criteria. You may want to stay away from T1 (Sanctum of Rall, Jade Quarry, and Blackgate) because WvW is generally queued and the wait times (30 minutes to an hour on weeknights) tend to be a little annoying.
A T2 or T3 server should fit what you’re looking for. I’ve heard Sea of Sorrows had a fairly good PvE as well as WvW community so you might want to try there
As usual, the non tier1s spreading lies about tier 1. On BG, I can safely say we que not more than 2 maps during NA, which don’t last more than 10 minutes. During Eu, we que only 1 map occasionally.
To the OP, if you are interested in organised wvw gameplay, there are tones of wvw oriented guilds and PVX guilds for you to join in tier 1. There are guilds in every timezone, something which other tiers can’t offer
Dunno how many is in VII form BG, 60 count come from Iron, that screen show close to 40 so zerg any way, with ads from ally players easily can get close to 60 which is not Original VII way of play.

Yes, that is him. It has been confirmed by a couple of his own guildies that he did it to troll IRON and make BG believe VII had xfered over. Apparently there was a jubilant discussion on their server boards thinking you guys had actually xfered over.

no actually Coin got wiped over and over so they cried to moma and in came VII, HB and RK to wreck the BL, causing 2fps framerates and 2 min skill lag in open field. But if you want that kind of play then fine, we’ll tag up and do the same. map blob vs map blob, rubberband around and spam “1”. Bet coin STILL would be the first to drop to the ground though
Get your facts straight. VII engaged you first. First you go after the smaller group(~15 players) and then the second group hits your tail. When numbers are even IRON runs ,ofcourse, so you went inside the camp and started bombing the choke. Only after that does COIN engage and wipe you.
Who exactly wants variety? Answer is, no one. The best matchups are the most competitive because they are balanced. So Anet, we know you realized there is a problem here, the reason why you changed it to 3 leagues, now do us a final favour and change it to 4 leages

Not all of you thought it was funny that my 15 guys wouldnt take up the fight. I guess outnumbering the enemy 4-1 is the only fun that some – not all, of you is used to
I hope those of you that dont enjoy massivly outnumbering the enemy is glad to see new EU guilds here on NA as well. I could imagine it have been borring at times, to have an EU guild on NA that fields 40+ and everyone else running around in groups of 15-25.

Regarding banners, we all do it. It’s legit, and Anet has said so. A few months ago JQ/SoR were double teaming us in our garri and we held it for 5+ hours during late EU. We trolled the circle/bannered for 5+ hours! That was one of the most fun defenses I have ever been a part of

Because they have other objectives maybe, you pick your fights in WvW. Every server skips fights at some point or another even if they know they can win open field. Having a zerg chase 1-2 even 10 is not productive and serves nothing for ppt.

I don’t know if this has been suggested in the past, but wouldn’t it be interesting if we communicated with our team through team chat and be able to communicate with the enemies too through map chat? I do realise it can be abused by some though
