Obviously in that matchup we did get wiped more then we wiped SoR, but to say that we didn’t wipe one SoR zerg that entire matchup is redicilous and stupid as hell. I clearly remember one time i was running with CB about 16 of us and we ran into a SoR zerg of about 30-40 we almost had them aswell but the numbers just simply got to us and we wiped. After that i got pm’s from the commander at that time contemplating us and letting us know that we did a good job. People move to T1 because they want to be with good teams so they can have a competitive fight against other good teams. That way, anyone can log on anytime 24/7 and expect good fights. This is what makes T1 so exciting at the moment and this is the main reason why people are stacking T1.
If Anet really wants to balance WvW, they should consider that and craft their next major change accordingly.

I don’t think “whose fault it is” is that important at this point, it doesn’t really change anything. Leagues are going to happen, so why not think according to that rather than lament why things aren’t going in some other hypothetical direction? Things do suck now, but it’s not like the players have no way to make it suck less.
Why are you the only person who seems to speak some sense, i thought i was one of the rare species who actually knew what leagues meant. What’s even more baffling is as soon as leagues were announced people transferred to the top 3 Servers, it’s like THey want to fight doors.

I hope this is just a rumor/trolling attempt. MERC is literally the backbone of BG. For Tarkus and MERC to leave, it would be catastrophic. And JQ will become the new super server with unmatched Oceanic & SEA.

Whatever the case was, ge sure did us a service! It’s a lot easier to defend against them than Waha with his much more disciplined [ATM] military.
Ge field much less compared to ATM. But in terms of discipline, I think Ge win by far. ATM only rely on their map blob.
JQ could have the misfortune to cop SoR and BG twice.
Why would you think that would be a misfortune? Any match which has less than 2 tier 1 servers in it is going to be a blowout, so regardless of the score we need eachother. Everyone in tier1 is there for the fights, not for the victory.

This is a joke. I don’t give a flying kitty about dark matter, I just want my 7g worth of sigils back. Why on earth would you give PVE’rs thousands of badges for completing content not remotely connected to WvW? Oh that’s right, PVE’rs are getting slain in the JP.
Why should decline in numbers be the only indication that change is needed? I am not happy with the buff, but I continue to play WvW because the buff doesn’t make me dislike WvW to that extent.
If there has been an increase in numbers, it’s only because people go to the ruins expecting fights, not because they want the stat buff. So why don’t you implement some sort of dueling or gvg? There is no doubt that the community wants it.
Remove all siege except rams. If the enemy wants to destroy your rams, they should come out and destroy it. We need to encourage open field fights without the aid of AC/ballista.

People discredited this statement because he whines a lot I guess. But he says the truth. during the first season there may be 1-2 good matchups the entire time. Most will be like this match up or even worse a JQ,BG,DB or something like that. And no matter how much TC wants to push the whole T1.5 garbage, the truth is they are top of T2 because of their fairweather population. No higher.
Anet is consolidating the WvW population onto a handful of servers. I dont know if it is intentional or not. Time will tell on that, but the result is there are going to be 3 servers that can compete with each other during the leagues for score and then all the rest of the servers.
I would prefer a Blackgate, SoR, SoS matchup to say a hypothetical Blackgate, Ehmry Bay, SoS matchup. When you have 2 strong servers the focus turns on them to fight each other more, that’s why when we fought TC and SoR 2 weeks ago we only came from 30k points of TC because while TC and SoR were fighting it out concentrating on each other we were gaining points.
JQ seems to have overstacked and now they are ahead of BG and SoR.

Not sure your point? We did destack as did IoJ and one of the positives was it spread the oceanics around. At least half a dozen servers now have a significant oceanic presence. Led directly to BG and SoR doing as well as they have been.
Lol, the guilds left to join other top tier servers, so wasn’t a destack. And yes, all servers have oceanic presences, but the question is, how much? SoS was ticking 695 on multiple occasions during the last week. And that was against other tier 3 servers, so there is a clear difference in oceanic presences.

I transferred here 3 months ago and have absolutely no regrets! Great server to fight with and great opponents to fight against 24/7! I love the fact that there is always an organized group on TS which you can join at any time of the day.
One question though, are we not recruiting NA? I don’t play during that time zone so I don’t know too much about it, but from what I heard it seems that is our weakest timeslot.

since I can’t speak for SOR, I will defend my own server. The guys u see online during EU hours aside from HB and RK (they don’t field 30 like GD just so you know), are our late SEA/OCX, a few EU guys, and some early NA. Interesting, pretty much the same huh? What a world right?

He was only pointing out that JQ was being hypocritical. It’s no secret that JQ has been stacking and you continue bashing BG for doing it while we are not receiving any transfers. Also, JQ is known for stacking until there is no competition. JQ did it before paid transfers, and you are doing it again before the leagues. Our commanders are staying up for hours passed their prime while you guys just stack when the match doesn’t go your way.
Okay, I’m not crying about it. Difficulty increase is good. However this is a full map of people that genuinely tried for 15 minutes. Look where his health is at.
I ll be honest with you, no matter the amount of psychological projection nobody likes JQ…nobody. This dates back from when JQ used to constantly block the Jumping Puzzle back in the days with 10 vs 1 at the entrance. This attracted a lot of people to JQ, people who enjoyed this type of behavior but were not that good in wvw.
From then on they made enemies from acting like kittenbags. Nothing has changed yet and the only thing JQ has left is paying guilds to come to their server so they can say they are T1 material…but they are not and their reputation still follows them.
For a long time JQ had relied on SoR but that changed some time ago when SoR decided to not carry JQ anymore. There is a reason JQ never ever gets the number 1 spot and it should be pretty clear by now.
JQ does not belong in T1…it never did and JQ will always a bad reputation unfortunately

2. After I was knocked off the jump puzzle relentlessly it was fun to return with some buddies and dish out some payback.
3. We don’t need to say that we are T1 material, because we just are.
4. JQ really doesn’t rely on SOR nor does SOR rely on JQ, they are both top-notch servers that can stand on their own 2 feet.

My memory isn’t too clear, but hasn’t BG wrecked JQ in both our previous 1v1s? that shows you need SoR to even keep up with us. On the other hand, BG/SoR 1v1s are decided only by thursday.
