I still can’t understand why people are complaining we recruited 4 guilds?

2 guilds, GD and TKG, to fill up the absolute void we had in EU and oceanic.

2 guilds, NS and Agg, to replace the 4 (!) guilds we lost in NA (aco, WARD, WvW, Pro)

None of this crap about recruiting matters….. once leagues start in the beginning of October we WILL all be facing at the minimum 5 weeks of complete boredom and PVD. If there is a JQ vs BG vs SOR matchup, then make it 6 weeks of PVD.

Then we can hope and pray that Anet doesn’t go ahead with a season 2……… assuming everyone hasn’t quite wvw by then that is.

The one thing a tier 3 server exceeds all tier 1 servers in – trolling. If you were offered gold it is only because you have maxed out pvf mastery.

I have yet to see anything more than rumor and speculation that guilds were ever paid to join a server.

There is a difference between helping a guild (who in all likelihood was going to transfer anyway) get all of it’s members over by donating/loaning gold to them and outright paying them gold to transfer to a server.

How about we deal with facts, supported by real evidence, rather than this crap that’s going around lately?

Are ridiculous. I see about 50% of roamers are stun warriors. One stun on my elementalist and I get downed. Please make stuns condi cleansed or nerf the crit chance on stun warriors have.

Use offensive armor/trinkets with defensive traits and cantrips, which are defensive utilites.

I think we all need to just face the fact that siege trolls are attention seekers from our servers.

I can’t enter AC for the past few days due to this bug. I hit enter the dungeon in exp mode, but nothing happens. rezoning and guesting seems to fail too. Are there any other ways around this bug?

Price is hardly the issue. These traps aren’t meant to be used against theifs, but those sneaky mesmers. No theif will give you the time to build one. Most probably you will just get back stabbed while trying to build it.

I have been a full time mesmer for almost 3k hours until I tried thief a few weeks back.

Two words.

EASY MODE

I can gear up full berserk and put ALL my trait points into everything that caters stealth.

Result => Constant 3k++ backstab, constant condi cure, 10+ might stack, 50% running speed 60-70% of the time, almost immortal against other melee classes (blind spam), unshakable pursuit with d/p 3, cooldown-less interrupt, on-demand stealth, and the list goes on… and that’s just pvp without food and gear tweak.

You get blind spammed only if you stay in one place and fight. l2p
And remember, with such high damage, you are glass and can be taken down just as easily as you can kill.

Actually they are a replacement for the orb mechanic, so it’s kind of a fix.

It’s hardly a fix. The only thing bloodlust shares with the orb is a buff. Achieving the buff is completely different. The effects of the buff is too. Not to mention the modification of the map.

I don’t spvp because of the imbalance. if we were allowed more variety of builds, like we can in wvw, i would def do it.

Is there a way to get an ascended weapon without crafting? I play 3.5 hours a day. How long will I have to PVE to craft it? The question is not actually being able to craft it, but how long will I have to PVE and not play wvw to do so? This is not what we were promised. I don’t want to farm to be competitive.

Doing so would invalidate the time people spend acquiring that gear. I think the heart of your post is in the right place, but what we would rather do is make possible for people to get the gear by playing WvW with a sprinkling of PvE, rather than the other way around.

NA has stacked the top tiers. It is what it is. But if players wanted to play the game for the fights, it’s within their power to unstack and make it more competitive. Just have to get rid of the shiny virtual carrot mentality. It’s great to be on a winning server, top of the heap, but when you’re either mind-numbingly steamrolling others or playing the same stale matches every week, you have to understand the power to change that is in your own hands.

SoS is interesting in that the people who stayed on here post-T1 mostly don’t aspire to playing “T1” again. The PRX “call-to-arms” thing – telling us we had to fight in WvW at the exclusion of other parts of the game – didn’t sit well and it is something many are sensitive to.

I would really like the upper servers to destack and population to spread out and I suspect the league thing is partly trying to do that. But it is the players who need to make the change.

If this was the mindset of the majority, you can’t really be surprised that WvW guilds/people left. There were some guilds trying to bring SoS back, but SoS was perfectly happy steamrolling CD/SBI.

And no, for the last time, we are not going to destack to please you. We love fighting battles here in tier 1 where the battles are intense and I share a server with about the largest number of like-minded people.

Yep SoS is filled with PvX players that just give up and stuff. That’s why we just took SoR’s Tier 3 SM and held it for over 3 hours.

Enough with the “blobbing”. Even SBI blobs (before recent transfers) at times.

What it comes down to, is how much of your “blobs” are organized guilds and are people correctly spec’d for WvW.

Half the problems we have on SoS is we have a good fight going and Zachary “Zerkergear” runs into the fight and insta-dies to give a free rally.

I’m sure it happens on TC and even on SoR once in a while but the percentages of it happening are what really makes the difference in tiers.

This along with a few other issues are what troubles SoS. 1 of the issues, you need to unite all these solo guild tags into 5-6ish main guilds and start getting specced/training properly.

The SoS leadership which is really non existent needs to take control of things and have a plan put in motion which doesnt rely on trying to aquire transfers aka SoS 3.0-4.0.5.0 etc. You need to build and work with what you got whether you want to deny it you’re a tier 2-3 server with an oceanic presence that if unified outnumbers any server period yes even the tier 1 servers keypoint is you’re not unified and have alot of pvx give up type of players filling up your player base.

If you whine about opposing numbers being an issue my prime example Seafarer’s Rest a Medium sized server stopping the hordes of vizunah. Point is it can be done and should be done again more often by any server regardless of tier.

I’m new to this forum. I think ele just has a low health-pool. Other than that, I don’t have any problems. 2 Bugs I do have a problem with are the ride the lighning and #3 of dagger in fire. What are the other disadvantages?
