i´m already seeing server 1 player sitting on AC trying to tag a zergfight beetween server 2 and 3 , in the lordroom of SN or in a keep when server 2 and 3 trying to take the keep from server 1

I had to make a new toon with my last character slot and equip it with 9g worth of 18-slot bags just to hold all the junk the xmas event has given me alone. I agree with OP that at least the holiday event creates wayyy too much cluster in inventory. I’m not going to go as far as to say it’s designed that way to make the option of buying more bag slots for real money more desirable, but at times it does feel like Anet always has the gem shop in mind as of late.

Just look at the new dailies for example; some of the PvP dailies require you to be on a specific class (win 1 match on engineer). Well, you only get 5 character slots, so if you want to be able to do all your PvP dailies every day, you essentially HAVE to drop 200+gold or ~$20-30 on gems to buy 3 more character slots to have 1 of each class.

It’s not game-breaking or anything, but it does take away from the holiday event itself when every 20-30 minutes I have to do a complete inventory cleanup due to all the junk those presents give you.

well , not rly , you only need to buy one character slot , if you dont have any left, and then create the class needed for daily , go to pvp ,do daily , delete charater and repeate next day
you know lvl 1 is more then enough for pvp, thats why you can create and delete a charater every day

Looking forward when this will be available for EU , its very hard for me to form teams witht the few friends that are left on my friendlist

if you have started your achivment hunt two years ago, when you started playing the game , you would have almost completed it by now !

i remeber i read somewhere a suggestion about reward tracks for wvw, i think that would be a good thing and a start point for better rewards in wvw because at this point , i get more money and chets from tpvp then from 1 hour of wvw

ps: i´m not on a t1 faceroll server , so maybe thats the problem , not sure how much bags / champ chest you get there per hour

pps: OR let me get nice things with my 15k badges , i´m not a commander so i dont need any siege and upgradeing the siege is imo wasted skillpoints , you can make more money with skillpoints in other ways

same , resets everytime i close the “chose finisher window”, so if i chose a finsiher , then go to the equipemnt panel , its reseted

its annoying for dungeons , it takes a few tries till you get the right party ….but for the open world contetn its near to impossibel to get the right party , trying to join a party for teq/champ train/ sw is a matter of luck

that small bug decrease the fun of the whole game by half , because after my 5th try to get into a teq taxi for overflow , i just give the kitten up and close gw because it makes me very very angry

i see that you are a new player with just a few hundrets of AP , so i wont judge you and give you the advice to go to silverwastes if you are lvl 80, if not buy items on TP that cost a few cooper and salvage it , sell the materials you got and you won´t make much loss

after i read this theard i just had to log in to say the reason why i stoped playing ff…

but first i want to say that to some points i agree and to some i dont agree, i played FF for a month, and it was a good game , HOWEVER , it was not amazing.

and that is the point, i stopped FF because i dont pay a monthly fee for a good game, i wanted to give it a chance to see if it is an amazing game and if its deserves a monthy fee, it was not, not for me at least

summary:

payed 30€ for FF : played a month , stopped because of monthly fee
payed 50 € for GW2: played over 2 years

imo, best 50€ i ever invested in a game,
if FF would also be without monthy fee then maybe i would have played longer

ps: i´m still waiting for a MMO that is as good or better then gw2, but without monthly fee, execpt its just epic awesome amazing , then maybe i would pay each month 15€…

same problem , my main character is stuck in sparkly fen, guesting other server didnt help, this needs a hotfix asap , i cant do guildraids or dungeons with my kittenin alts , i need to get access to my main char =_=

i wonder what kind of games you guys played before where you can get the most wanted skins/armor/weapon with freash and fun non grinding content..

because all games i played were in the end the same , you reach max lvl and you farm that one dungeon hundert times to get that skin/armor/weapon drop you want

or you farm /grind money in all possibel way to buy that skin/armor/weapon you want

Should we just shrug our shoulders and say “Oh well I guess if people are paying for them its still fair despite not having access to it” If I find a way to dupe items can I just say “people are willing to pay for them” and crash the games economy?

i also finished story before i knew about that way to farm, so what do i do know ? its easy , i farm ambient creatures at another spot (no i wont tell where) , its not that fast as in the story , but still very fast.

so instead of complaining , go and buy some maize balm and search for a spot with ambiet creatures and farm that kitten as long as it is profitabel

well great , know i even got two riffels and the game still doesnt update the collection , pls at least say that you are aware of it or something..

TCG won vs BOON

Hi everyone , so i´m currently doing the how collection and just know i got a weapon chest from the pvp reward track of HotW. I opened the chest while i was in observer mode in a 1vs1 server. I got the “skin unlock” pop up on the right side of the screen but the collection didnt updated, only the wardrobe updated. Now i dont know if i have to get another HotW chest and get the skin again and open it in pve to get the unlock or if i just broke my hotw collection ;(

So after two months i wrote a ticket and the support tried to help me but couldn´t, they told me to make a theard in the bug section , thats why i´m bumping this. I am almost done with all dungeon collection , but i willl never have the Dungeoneer finished because of the bug with the HotW collection… at that is very frustrating.

Uploaded second screen where you can see that its unlocked in the wardrobe.

PS: I dont care if you have to reset the HotW collection and i have to collect all HotW weapons and armor again , its still better then not beeing abel to finish it at all.

Would be great if a dev could at least tell me that its on their list and it will be fixed even if its in some months..

Update 2: now i have all other dungeons done , and this rifel is the last that i need for dungoneer titel, its so frustrating that i cant do anything about it..

the question is, will they follow their route from the last events and make halloween-skin availabel from an npc ? will we see the ghastly shield and the chainsaw again ? i mean they did that with the skins from older updates, maybe they are doing it with the halloween-skins now too

So i noticed that the guild chat that was writen while beeing on my ele disapears after i relog on my mesmer , for example. Is this a bug or a feature ? i think i can remember that it wasn´t always like this , but i´m not sure.

i dont think yoloq has anything to do with esports, anet tries to push tpvp into esports , and thats okay

and before anet waste time on yoloq they should fokus on tpvp because…who the kitten cares about yoloq, i only go there to farm champ titel on different profesions..

ps: yoloq = random arena from gw1 and tpvp = gvg/ha from gw1, you shound know by know where the priority is

Seriously, I stopped playing about 8 months ago and i am still checking every update email hoping that there will be some EndGame content released for veterans that does not involve WvW or pointless Living Stories so I can come back and play.

Besides making all my characters look kitten, I have no point of actually playing the game anymore. I have all the characters with maxed out armor, and now there is simply nothing else to do.

I think that what everyone is Really looking for is either an Expansion or/ and some actual end game content like Rides, bosses etc for veteran – non pvp – players to do.

Seriously, think about it. That’s probably the only thing that keeps WOW alive today so you can’t say that it’s not worth it or that people don’t like it.

i got one dc today , on my first match , on second i had heavy lags , and on the third i also had a huge lag and was moving backwards for like 10sec, after that suddenly 4 of 5 members from the other team were dead and few seconds later all dced from the match , awesome thing..

i like the way you think , as long as a company makes money they should not care about the minority, the most important thing for ncsoft is the profit and that is /should be the most important thing for every company, if you want to exist in 5 years..

had 2 precursor drops in wvw,

anet says that precursor drop from every mob everywhere , but i dont belive this , i think the mob has to be lvl 80 to drop a precursor or at least a lvl 80 mob has a higher chance to drop one , because my 3rd precurs i got in arah

thats why everytime i go pve i try to do something in lvl 80s areas , i also never do dungeons that are not lvl 80

it seems you dont realy enjoy pvp, there is no point in wvw except running with your 20 buddys from your guild around , killing other zergs and feeling awesome about it , you must enjoy killing other player , showing that you are better then them

and if you dont want to zerg , try roaming and see how good you are at pvp , i love to roam with my ele/mes/thief and then having 1vs1 and killing other players , even more awesome when its a 1vs2 or 1vs3 and you kill all three of them , the feeling of being able to kill alone 3 other players is great

ps: i just remembered about a guy that once told me on ts that he enjoys upgrading towers and filling them with siege and watching how the enemy zergs wipe before them….so basicly playing tower defense, maybe you like that too

I never play an MMO for the story (tbh i think very few do), i have offline games for that.

Played GW1, Ragnarok, Aion, Lineage 2, Perfect World and some other which i dont even remember the name anymore, i never care about story , most of the time it´s a wall of text that i just skip by spaming the “next” button.

i think its waaaaay better then the one we have now , i like MMOs that have such loginscreens where you enter the “world” before you chose an charakter, now you still have your desktop in the background while you login and its just meh…

and imo that loginscreen looks much cooler to show to your friends when they ask what game you playing , i like how the different maps are shown in the logo and how the music change , it has some kind of epic feel

at least give me an option to chose between these two login screens, once you choose one gw will remember that and that will be used the next time you start it , that would be GREAT

People that use either magic find food or none at all I generally diagnose as a noob. I too notice the lack of potion use, but lack of food use too. I don’t care if not everyone has the money for truffle steaks. You can at least buy the low tier food or something like mango pies.

about a year ago i helped a friend in arah, i still had +30% MF food from farming loadstones and then it happend…a trash mob dropped the legend, since that day, i always run around with +30MF food, even in WvW (commanders are not happy) but at least i also always use the other buffood, the wrench(how the kitten you call them?) for more dmg on specific mobs
but tbh i alsways forgett it for cof or se because a run is over so fast that i just forget about using them even though they are in my inventar

well….what do you want to do ? i mean in every other map its the same , you are doing events or running around discovering the map for the 100% ?

ps: or you farm mobs at a good spot

Honestly, how many of you would’ve rather seen an expansion pack?

Living story gives us:
- Free updates
- Every 2 or so weeks
- Small amount of content

An expansion pack gives us
- Paid update
- All updates in one big batch
- Massive amount of content

Now, I don’t want to sound like an ungrateful person, but I’d rather have paid for an expansion pack. Why? Because I would have loved to see a new profession, race, a lot of new lands and more! Me and friends have been speculating the Chronomancer ever since before release. We were all very sad when it didn’t come as we were wanting to make a video series about “Back to the Future”. Alas…

so i have to choose beetwen content update every 2 weeks, and be done with it in 2 days, or content update once a year , or half a year and be done with it in 2 weeks….

i have played AION / GW1 before GW2 and that two games were exatly like you want , one update/expansion once a year / half year

and it was always the same , it took me a few weeks and i saw everything new, only left to farm the new best weapon/armor ( in aion) or the new titel in gw1, and when you got that..well then i took a break from the game and played something different and wayting for another update in half year

thats why i like the 2 weeks update more , i have something to look forward to , something that comes next week , not next year … most of the time i finish all achivments of an update by friday, if its not group orientetd like that kittening marionete…and after that i go to my daily routine of playing dungeons and wvw and waiting for the next update

and that is the reason why till now i didnt take a break of gw2, because i never got the feeling i dont move forward, i dont have to do always the same things for months like in gw1 or aion IF gw2 would stop update every two weeks , i would lose interest in it after some months and start playing a second MMO

tl: dr: i prefer the two weeks update over the once a year/half a year because i lose interesst in something if i have to wait to long

join a guild and ask others what they did at lvl 80, for reference what i did was:

world map 100%
got exo bersek gear from cof runns
got exo valk gear
got exo bersek weapons (5 weapons in total)
played a lot of wvw
started doing all the permanent achivments, still not done with everything

well yeah , thats what i did and what you could do

last year was a huge disapointment for me , i loved the gifts in gw1 but the things we got last year was terrible, i dont expect anything from anet this year , so they can´t disapoint me ….give me one more time 10 stupid acc bound mini pets , i wound not be surprised anymore

i am SOOOO happy that there is a cap at that stupid daily/monthly points , from the start i hated the idea that you have to do every achivment every day to be on the top of leaderboards, thank good they implemented that cap

judgig by the numbers i saw till now , me and many others will reach that cap of 10k daily and 5k(?) monthly achiv points in 2 years , if we still play it till then

image we ppl with to much gold ( i think i saw you had 6k gold) would be rich irl ( like some 10mil about)

so if we woud go and spend each day..lets say 10k € on buying lottery tickets, then of course we wound win more often the grand prize of some millions then these normal/poor people

you see the difference ? let these poor guys save their ernings to blow them once a month into toilet what we do each day

Finding that WvW is about as steady income as anything else Ive found not to mention a lot more fun. Made 12g last night from loot. Only made 7g this evening but we were getting pounded. Anyway, it was a pleasant change from farming.

wooot? 12g in a night…so i guess about 6hours of playtime ? to get that much gold you must have a huge zerg yourself and the other servers also a huge one AND winning every zergfights for the heavy bags + trashloot for salvage and never spend more then 10min at a tower to get it for the champ bag ? thats sure not a normal day in wvw imo, maybe a friday where huge karmatrain zergs run around and never defend anything and when they clash they drop much much looot
