Well, I have a bunch of ‘I voted for Gnashblade’ badges sitting in the bank. I don’t even remember them telling us they would be useless, later (they probably did), so should I expect some kind of reimbursement? I got them from playing a certain part of the game. Now they are useless! Darn!

It wasnt ever useful. All it did – was showing your support for Evon Gnashblade. And its still as useful as before. U can consume it and get his Icon over your head. I still have my unlimited one though. Even today, I like to show, that i voted for the Right candidate.
Well, to be fair, they did tell us months ago to use up our glory boosters. Several times. Repeatedly. Over and over.
So, with offering to reimburse those that paid gems for them, would else could they have done…besides warning us that we should use them up months ago, as they would becoming useless?
1st. So i would be fine to remove our legionaries, if they would tell us in advance?
2-nd. There were many good suggestions. Exchange them on other boosters. Or let us mystic forge em for random booster. Or turn them into glory consumable, that would give ~ 200 glory each. Many ways to be fair with your players. And all of them better, than just deleting our stuff.
what can you buy with your boosters? Absolutely nothing….if you had bothered to use them however, this would not be an issue. I used to have the same issue with XP boosters, but then I found the super secret solution, not hoarding them till the end of time.

I am sorry, but if you hoarded 400 boosters, it’s your own fault and you have no one to blame but yourself. You could have used a booster a day for a year and still had a lot left over. Boosters are meant to be used, if you decided not to use them, then honestly it’s your issue.
Same could be said about any material in game. So we back to my 1-st example. Let them make all boosters and materials outdated! Lets punish hoarders as much as possible~!

The old glory system was absolutely terrible. It was built entirely on RNG crafting with no feeling of progress.
People have been farming glory for over a year because they were hoping it would be worth something some day.
That time has been here for four months now.
Perhaps you aren’t satisfied with these changes, but as of right now glory is more useful than ever. If that is a problem to you, then I don’t think you were interested in seeing that part of the game improve anyway, and just want to complain.

I hate conquest gameplay with all this points and bunker builds. Thats why i have 400+ glory boosters. I was w8-ing for smth interesting to come up in tpvp. Then i would have had plenty of boosters to use. But nope. “Play our boring game mode or u would lose all the effort u put up to get em”
How did he deal any damage? He have practically no damage traits whatsoever…. I dont even see any profit in shatters in this build. Going phant lockdown would have been so much more effective.
You can do both phantasm damage, but shatter damage is still very high, enough to 1-shot another glass target, esp when you eat the entirety of the blurred frenzy. Also, halting strike makes up for the loss of illusionary persona as it does just about as much damage itself.
I have been trying this build out and its really strong.
Edit: to clarify, I am not sure of all the traits, but I do know the build has halting strike, deceptive evasion, bountiful interruption, and chaotic interruption. Other traits can be played with. It seems desperate decoy is popular as I lose target while trying to burst them the few times I was able to.
Well…that looks like a ltp problem to me. Play with this build yourself and learn its weaknesses. Stability sounds like a perfect solution to me. I have no idea how elementalist builds works, but this mesmer build is very weak and easy to counter with skilled gameplay. Its basically a “fun” build. Just to troll some newbies.
Go to the Kind of the Hill hotjoin arena and try to use it there. I believe people would show you its weaknesses.

My favorite remedy to the situation was introducing a Mystic Forge recipe for 4x glory boosters that would generate 200% glory boost for the hour that it was in effect (since each booster is +50%), people could actually burn through them, getting more from rank/tourney chests wouldn’t be so detrimental, and nothing is gained over those who have already used theirs, because it all ends up equating to the same amount of glory in the end.

They even can reduce the % after forge. Like 50%x4= 150% 150%x4=500% and 500%x4= 1800%.

Why Scarlet? I believe, that Kiel is a perfect match for him. After all, they basically did same thing to us. Trahearne with personal story, and Kiel with living story. She “saved” southsun. She “Defeated” aetherblades in their cave. She even stole aetherblades ship from us, that she never put to any good use.
I feel bad for the Developers that put all this work into making this and now they have to watch it turn into a loot-fest.
U shouldn’t. (no filter.kitten.) Its a mistake they keep repeating. They always reward zerg play more, than team play. Hope, someday they will learn and balance rewards for all tasks. Why the ones, who do nothing, get same reward as the ones, who do everything? Why I can keep standing afk on wp and still get rewards for all your work? That makes no sense.
Am I alone, who just feel humiliated by being kicked all the time? This pass is supposed to be elite and cool thing i can brag about. But this kicking makes me feel more like hobo, than elite customer.
Side effect of “temporary” terrace passes. Otherwise you get the temp pass (world drop), park and alt, and never leave. Although “never leaving” is quite a restriction.

I think ZDs is well known and respected guild on GvG scene, one of the first involved in those fights therefore such simple and well known rules are not something new to them. I’m 100% sure you knew it and it’s not NECESSARY TO write it before every fight. If we go by this way you need to mention about I don’t know, don’t build arrow carts? or trebs? or maybe omega golems? It’s obvious principle
Zds is well known all right. On www scene. Good on GvG? Srsly? 9-0 and other matches like that? Nope. Even in old days, Zds never accepted no rez rule. It was an option you know. Guess today it is no more option but fixed rule. Bad for ya, that you fought so inexperienced guild.

Eh. At start of event i didnt know, that this would be such trouble, so I just runned on invasion and comleted em. Then i got stuck at 5/13, so I read the forums and dev said, that u have to kill twisted champ to complete achiv. I redone all maps with killing him and now I have 12/13. I was sure, that last map i needed was sparkly fen. But…after i Finished it, i still have this kitten ed 12/13.

But for what reason? What are her motivations? And what is her personality? Can anyone describe her character?
1) Reason = strengthen the world against comming menace. Mayby even to pinpoint the individuals, that would play major role in defeating this menace.
2) Racial pride. She doesnt want sylvari to be puppets.
3) Stubborn, clever, open minded, independent. And sure proud.
1) What menace? The Elder Dragons? She’s on a mass-murdering spree, she’s as bad as they are. Nothing in any part of what we’ve seen of Scarlet strikes me as trying to save Tyria. The very, very opposite.
2) Who is making sylvari puppets? The short story was all about her rejecting the very core of what sylvari are and come from. If you mean the Pale Tree, I would say that going on a mass killing spree to make a statement about not wanting to do what the Pale Tree kindly asks of her spawn is a bit of an overreaction, don’t you think? Not to mention that she’s started her onslaught in DR. If her agenda was against the Pale Tree and the Nightmare, why is she not targeting them?
3) Stubborn, more like closed-mindedly pigheaded. Clever, more like unrealistically intelligent beyond belief. Open minded? Absolutely not. Independent, sure. And proud of what?
It sounds more than anything like you’re trying to make a mass murdering terrorist into a hero figure.
No one knows. She just mentioned 2 forces, that pushes us in 2 directions. I feel its smth like good gods and evil dragons. Or smth above that. And she decided, that she wants this forces to clash. (antikitten) Its already a common theory, that sylvari are broken dragon minions. What if some force (gods, for example), while dragon was sleeping, changed the nature of part of his minions, and used human soldier to pick em up and raise?
And now we have 2 forces. Gods, that pushes sylvari to be “good”(pale tree sylvari) and awakening dragon, that pushes em to be “evil” (nightmare court sylvari).
So. Now we know, that she has a reason to do what she was doing.
Overall. What did she achive? She showed norn, charr, humans and asura that they all vulnerable. Norn and char – flame and frost. Humans – today event. Asura – by her techno achivements and threat of what inquest may accomplish with right alliance.
She didnt hurt any race to much, just provoked them. So what would be result? All 5 races would grow stronger and would eventually unite together against common enemy. (Sylvari allways wanted this, so she even works in favor of pale tree). Yes. Its already happened with pact, but there still was some elements against pact. So well…there would be even less enemys of such. Also, she brought to light the problems, that every race has to face. Fire legion, Dredge, Inquest and pirates. United them and made them a serious enough threat. Now they have to be dealt with.
What it looks like? Like she is preparing the tyria for a great stand against some big attack.
And no. I dont think, that she is a hero type. She is more like mad manipulator type “the end justifies the means”.

Actualy, i feel, that she might pull Glint on us. Some events later we would get some kind of dungeon with hard traps everywhere and imba hard bosses, It would be smth like “Scarlet laboratory”
After we defeat all bosses and pass all traps, we would finally meet Scarlet and she would be all like: " You passed all my tests, Now I shall hand the fate of the world to ya! Here is my plan!……" And then she would reveal a way to defeat dragons. Or even gods. Or dragons and gods together.
I’ve done 9 separate events and got credit for 8——————because (1) FAILED————even though you get a “reward” for all events entered, you don’t get credit for any that failed (for the achievement)
This night, I left my hero in loc, did few portal events, and gone afk. When i returned – I had 3 chests and +1 achivement. I think it was lose, since for win u get full 5 chests.

It was fun. I kept telling my friend, that she follows me, but he didnt believe. But then she attked me alone with no event near, then she attked me in the deepest waters (Bloodtide coast). No matter where i tryed to hide – she followed me. It was hilarious

not always. A lot of the times people with 6K + achievements are just as nooby as people with 1K.
As i said before, they easy to teach. So run becomes smooth. Even if im to lasy to teach em, they still do good enough. Even If they horrible, its allways possible to kick em and find new. Anyway, its good filtering, cause results are way better, than with low ap.
And the next day I can enjoy the new system
