They’re not bugs; longbow fires an arcing projectile that continues to travel past its range limit while rifle shots travel in a straight line and disappear at the range limit (this happens with all projectiles of those types afaik) and Arc Divider used to be (somewhat) condition based with a fire field and I think a whirl finisher but they changed it to pure power damage after community feedback and haven’t completely changed the tooltip yet.
I think that glider is made of paper, and the sound is the thin pieces of paper rustling in the wind when you go faster.
Yes, it’s a ToS violation and you can report people for it, if anything actually happens or not will probably depend on who views the report.
I recall some kind of dev/gm response about this when rangers were afking in out of the way sections of fort defense events in SW and having their pets tag enough for event credit.
I think you have to hit them after their bar is broken, so you actually do enough damage for kill credit (ie. don’t run between crystals trying to tag them.)
That’s what the ‘outgoing’ is there for, it’s only meant to increase outgoing heals.
That’s only if you have the Hoover Mode from the Pact Mastery.
That makes sense, then. I’ve neglected my core Tyria xp for quite some time and only got that recently.
I admit I don’t normally watch my character too closely while harvesting, but has this effect always existed?
Reducing your stats/combat effectiveness to get better rewards wouldn’t work if you were still put with regular players; they took out magic find gear for a reason.
The named exotics you’re getting are linked to the type of champ bag you’re opening, since it’s always the same bags in SW you get the same weapons.
While you are at it give the weapon blocks from mace and sword the Bandit’s defense treatment.
What do you mean?
It blocks for the full duration and chains into the counterattack skill, while riposte and counterattack automatically perform theirs so you can’t block for the full duration if you want to (unless it’s ranged attacks against riposte,) but you can cancel them early for 3 whole points of adrenaline.
Bandit’s defense used to automatically trigger the counterattack, but thieves didn’t like that so it got buffed.
I’m not sure exactly what the issue is, but if you don’t like blurriness then disable postprocessing and depth blur in the graphics settings and don’t use FXAA as your antialiasing setting.
Bear in mind that I haven’t played guardian since HoT launched, but I’d guess that the burning is applied when the attack hits and the pulses are just for vigor and/or direct damage.
If you’ve traited into Zeal then the symbol has a chance to apply burning on each pulse so that could be averaging out at 1 stack from symbolic power and the initial 2 stacks from the skill.
Warriors have to be kept a simple profession, giving certain skills special abilities is too complex.
How about… Great Fortitude moves down to adept tier and replaces Restorative Strength, Axe Mastery moves into the vacant master tier slot, new grandmaster trait: your attacks ignore protection and blind, burst skills are unblockable.
Passive, powerful and painfully simple = perfect.
I’ve noticed that interacting with the jump pads (ie. press “F” to use) will sometimes launch you without the glider skills, but jumping on them to get launched automatically has never failed to give me the skills.
I was hoping this patch would fix a bug that’s affected berserkers’ berserk since its inception, I have a thread about it, made a bug report and posted in the HoT bugs thread already.
To reiterate here: the berserk skill has a base duration and cooldown of 15s; when you activate berserk its cooldown appears on the icon and counts down to let you know how long the buff will last and then when berserk expires the cooldown appears again to let you know how long until it’s ready. When you use the trait Smash Brawler to reduce berserk’s cooldown to 10s, the timer that appears when you activate berserk is also reduced to 10s (while berserk itself still lasts 15,) this means the last 5s of your berserk doesn’t have its duration displayed, which is annoying when trying to squeeze out a final primal burst skill before it expires. Since the timer used is treated as a skill, being chilled or alacritised also messes with the time remaining countdown.
When in pvp, the timer doesn’t display at all so you have to guess/watch for the buff icon to start flashing to see how long you have left.
Screenshot of the issue: the top picture is in pvp, the middle one is with Smash Brawler traited and the bottom one is how it’s meant to be.
This is still a thing, now with added screenshots (the order is: pvp, with smash brawler traited and then without smash brawler.)
I wonder if I’ll have to bump my thread about the berserk icon being bugged when you use smash brawler or are in pvp…
I wonder if the turrets there still kick you off each time they fire.
It only counts “Globs” (250 ecto + 100 gold) for the achievement, not the cheaper “Clumps” and “Dabs”.
If you have 100+ items on the trading post in need of pickup, adventures won’t give their reward chests.
Eat it.
(couldn’t dodge roll, to do JPs it’s one hand on the mouse and one on the space bar)
Wait what?
Maybe it’s a self-imposed restriction? Even if you only had one finger (or no fingers) on the hand that presses the spacebar you could still bind dodge to something like control to let you press it for this one instance it’s needed.
Customer Support has carefully reviewed the data that resulted in the termination of the game account in question. They verified that this account accessed 29 map points in under 60 seconds. It is not possible to accomplish this without the use of a third-party program, the kind of program that is expressly forbidden by our User Agreement and our Rules of Conduct.
Because of these facts, the account termination will not be reversed.
What if someone used a network of mesmer portals and/or teleport to friend consumables?
I checked on a sylvari and a norn and it was there for both of them, so it isn’t universally missing.
You can only craft each of the new legendaries once, as the only way to get their precursors is via the non-repeatable collections.
You can create the old ones numerous times by using alternate means to acquire their precursors.
okay I just counted, I don’t need any gold achievements. But it still feels horrid to hit a level ceiling due to ping.
@Coldtart, video please
The ping limitations were always there, this just has a small enough margin for error that you can’t effectively overcome them. The alternative is either making it that much easier for everyone else or making more movement abilities client-side, which ANet doesn’t seem to want to do judging by leaving things like lightning pull to completely miss their target if you have a high ping.
I also doubt that many people would have recorded all their gameplay from HoT’s launch to earning their 163rd mastery point.

These pics are great lol, Feel free to post mopre people *Remember to hide all names though as it would be considered “blame and shame” *. These pics are done well
Those aren’t my screenshots. I saved them to my computer. They were posted on the botter’s public forums* by one of the players botting the jumping puzzle.
*Public forums meaning no registration is required to read them.
Speaking of which, 1 of the botters posted this on their forums:
So I added another botter as a friend to check their AP out of curiosity, but the list showed them offline. This means one of two things: they either blocked me or reported me. Considering that I never spoke to them or gave any indication that I was at the computer, I assume they didn’t block, but reported me instead.
I started checking to see if I was being reported by every fellow botter I saw. At least half are reporting me, which means they’re probably reporting you, too. It’s probably safer if the botting program didn’t put you under the starting area so that others would know for sure that you’re botting.
It’s disgusting to think that the main source of ban reports that ArenaNet reviews comes from our own ******* community.
Sounds like the botters are turning on each other. LOL
Note the bolded part in the quote. I’m curious as to how they would know who is reporting them or even if they were reported.
I’d say it’s more likely that the people using bots/cheats just set themselves to appear offline when they log in.
After you’ve made a piece the first time via discovery it should then appear in the list and stay there. I think they did reset some discoveries when they increased the crafting level cap to 500, but I thought it was just the level 400 ones.
I believe lifesteal procs can damage through endure pain. I don’t know if that is still the case or if only specific ones can do it (sigil of leeching is the example I remember.)
It should still require an intricate insignia (the recipe for which is bought from armoursmith npcs for karma) and the two shoulderpiece components in the discovery section to make it.
It’s almost definitely cheaper to just buy an undesirable stat combo version of it from the trading post (sort by price) though, and then salvage it to unlock the skin.
You trading post probably has 100+ items for pickup, which stops the chests from appearing for whatever reason.
I remember when HoT launched people who were already wearing the wings often needed to unequip and re-equip them.
Axe 5 deals half damage in pvp btw.
It does 50% more damage in pvp.
Pre-jumping is almost definitely referring to the presents after Tixx, and people jumping straight to the square ones instead of waiting for the blue rectangles to spawn. It’s a longer jump and that causes more people to fail it, they would rather everyone waited for the blue presents to spawn to decrease their chance of falling.
Since it’s a pvp instance with everyone on the same team (although they appear as enemies,) whenever someone calls a target, the marker is visible to all.
Easy fix for thick skin:
120 toughness above 50% health
Gain 5 sec boon below 50% health (ICD: 20sec)Make it usefull, it doesnt have to be very strong for a minor trait but the current 90% tresshold is just stupid high.
The revenant equivalent gives 10% damage reduction below 75% health for an ehp increase of 8.33%. In order for thick skin to match that it would need to give ~45.5% damage resist for the 10% of your health that it effects.
Considering we select entire specialisations at a time now and the other two minors in the revenant defensive line give stability on dodge and 25 endurance every 10 seconds on hit (the same bonus as permanent vigor assuming it triggers on cooldown), thick skin being a minor trait is not an excuse for it to be useless.
The railguns are currently at ~1g9s buy orders, so if you sold it instantly then that matches your 98 silver profit close enough.
If you listed the diamond as a sell order, then it may not have sold yet.
I think suggestions that revolve around buffing our profession mechanic are on the right track.
What needs help, more then anything, is base warrior. Not warrior with X traits, nor warrior with Y skills equipped. Just warrior, at it’s base. The simplicity of the profession mechanic is pulling down the skill ceiling far too low.
What, weren’t you inspired by the creative addition of another set of physical skills with berserker?
They’d need to make six vanity slots (shoulder replacement and one for each accessory slot) unless they want to alienate the people who can currently use bees, ghostly infusions, colours and shoulder pieces simultaneously
It shrinks very noticeably when you sheathe it, which is what stops it from reaching the ground.
It did that to me, too. If I spoke to the npc outside and asked to enter then I got a “that world is full” message each time and it crashed my game once. Walking into the portal usually had the Winter Wonderland loading screen for a few seconds than back to DR, but it would eventually let me in.
This also happening to me. Especially with the red circles for the falling snowballs that send you flying. Im NO WHERE NEAR these circles, and my character gets flung all over hells half acre. Infact, they don’t even show up at all sometimes and I’m gonna be flung off the ledge. (This is not the snowman wind btw)
When you get hit by an invisible rolling snowball, it also pushes you along and stunlocks you. That’s probably what’s happening because the skritt aoes tend to land just in front or behind a snowball.
The only bothersome thing to me is the wind gusts that knock you off… sometimes but not always. It’s hardly worth watching out for, it’s a luck of the draw thing imo.
For the gust after the presents, you can just dodge/double dodge from the circular mint onto the candy cane and evade the gust.
I’ve noticed that quite frequently the first few snowballs that roll down the hill do not load at all, I presume this is because they had already spawned by the time I got within render range. This means I need to wait an additional 10-15 seconds before I can start that section unless I memorise the timing of all the snowballs in relation to the aoes or the snowballs two places behind them.
More problematic is when the snowflakes do not load properly or at all, I’ve had the entire first section of the puzzle appear half-melted and barely existent on one run and failed a few others because they just stopped appearing in front of me (but I’ve seen others continue past me by jumping on the completely invisible snowflakes, so it’s a local problem.)
Render/graphical settings haven’t seemed to help the issue at all, but I also don’t see it plastered all over the forums so I’m assuming it doesn’t happen to everyone. Is it perhaps ping related?
hmmm might as well squeeze the meat.. milk might come out too i guess…
that magnificent meat of his, juicy.
That charr is female; I’m sure her beef tastes fine all the same.
Your healing power affects your heals regardless of whom they heal.
Your percentage bonuses apply after everything else and stack multiplicatively with each other, so your 50% bonus comprised of three 10% and ten 2% boosts should end up as ~62% additional healing to allies for a 3,240hp ancestral grace in your example.

well warrior is bad in pvp ad sec becous all other class have to many surv skills and warrior is only good in wvw and pve but in pvp it realy realy is lead down becous i soo this coming when the told us abut headbutt i soo it it was bad
Warrior is terrible in PvE. The top 5 professions in 99% of Pve content currently are
1) Team quickness.
2) Spotter/assassin presence
3) Break bar proficiency
4) Alacrity
5) Large hit boxes multi hitting.Warrior provides only one of these, and is a very far second place to staff ele. Mesmer is the most demanded profession. DPS mules just aren’t needed currently and even without a PS/EA warrior a team can maintain 20+ stacks of might and 100% fury up time. Warrior is not needed anymore to maintain DPS benchmarks..they are especially not needed or wanted in higher level fractals.
So 180 precision or ferocity is good, but 180 power and/or 75% uptime on 170 power, precision, ferocity and condition damage isn’t worth it?
Or were you saying that scorched earth doesn’t multi-hit?
Try it, you can get +30% AS with Arms and Berserker GM traits, it could be interesting to boost the dmg, but you won’t have Defense.
Do those actually stack? I get the impression that they won’t.
I had this idea for Berserker atm when u enter Berserk mode your suck in it in until it runs out. In Berserk mode the F2 skill is still there but locked i was thinking why not add 1 skill to replace the F2 it can be a weapon skill or a burst idk for example Greatsword F2 might be somthing like this ((( https://youtu.be/R1o8f1BSJeA?t=52s ))) its basically Guardian greatsword 4 (Symbol Of Wrath) And Lets say u have a sword an warhorn the F2 will be a new warhorn skill not a sword skill… Hope dat made sense sry :c
The berserk skill is only locked like that in pvp, in pve it shows the time remaining for berserk (unless you use Smash Brawler, then the 15s timer used gets reduced to 10s as well.)
There is an “i” in a glowing ring at the end of the “You are defeated.” message, click that for the death recap.
They die extremely fast for me on my warrior, a single whirlwind attack can kill a normal smokescale because it sticks to me and takes every hit. Whirlwind attack followed by hundred blades can normally kill veterans before they deploy smoke unless they’ve been scaled up.
Nuhoch however, I will not bother with unless an event requires it.
