While I expect them to nerf this, I don’t really think it can be considered an exploit. In this example the boss is working perfectly fine and people are just bursting it down before the heals/adds/other mechanics become a problem, sort of like CoF farming.
Doing it as a guardian (so no access to cripple and chill only from a hammer) I combined power signet (ranged knockdown active,) hammer of wisdom (knockdown command,) and a shout for swiftness which lets me beat the dog rather consistently unless the meat is thrown right on top of it or if he throws two in rapid succession in different directions. Since he does those two things randomly I saw fit to mention it.
When the guy throws two pieces of meat at once or throws one directly on the dog there isn’t really anything I can do to stop it from getting fed, especially since it just walks up to something to eat while I have to stop and perform an animation that sometimes bugs and makes me keep running instead.
A particular explosion animation (pictured below) will drop my framerate down from 60+ to 10 or lower instantly, it seems to be used for some trebuchet shots. I have encountered it in Queensdale in an event to defend the Shaemoor garrison against centaurs where both sides used trebuchet fire so I don’t know which side caused it. I have also noticed a collection of centaur trebuchets at the ‘Overwatch Camp’ PoI in Hirathi Hinterlands all fire this particular shot (at least they were doing so while the area was fenced off and the trebuchets firing automatically.)
This is a screenshot of the explosion, there is also flashing lights and multiple layers of smoke/dust that the screenshot doesn’t show.
He/it took lessons from Kholer.
It doesn’t count as part of DR.
They sent 5 to each of my chars, maybe you could farm them by making new chars?
I saw flame legion, ogre, bandit and then quaggan I believe.
It’s going away, but eventually coming back sans living story content, iirc.
TA and sylvari cultural armour both have sections that will glow your sylvari’s skin colour; they don’t glow on non-sylvari and you can’t change the colour of the glow without changing skin colour.
You can’t delete mail that still has an item attached, the button should be greyed out until they “take all.”
It seems that jumping while using Protector’s Strike prevents the attack from triggering, so you can block for the full 3-and-a-bit seconds and then provide protection at the end. I didn’t test if this means that it can block for everyone in range, however.
If any of the mail is not from players, I don’t think it counts.

Theres doubts it works on large cats… (According to german wikipedia-article)
The shoulders might be the heavy mid-level karma ones that lionguard wear, if so then that charr might be in the standard armour of most civilian charr (like the LA banker.)
Here you go. This explains it:

I think that is what the rabbit in a cave in Timberline Falls is about, not this one.
(If you kill it, a champion fleshreaver is spawned.)

I think condition removal order is based on the order in which they were applied, but I forget which way it goes.
If all your characters are on the same account, then yes you did. You join/leave guilds on an account level, not per character.
You might be able to make a support ticket about it and see if they’ll put you back into the guild.
Afaik, you can’t change the colour of the glow on sylvari racial armour or the nightmare stuff, it’s linked to your skin colour and you would have to change that.
Once you’ve chosen a zenith weapon skin as an achievement chest reward, you can withdraw an infinite amount of them from the achievement window.
Just try all the fur patterns and see if they put that or something similar near the eyes, if not then it isn’t available.
They all have obvious tail clipping on charr, I concur that they are stupid and ugly as a direct result (although maybe the former is better suited to the people who made them and the latter the armour itself.)
I don’t think the aiming mechanic is smart enough to know that the person is moving at a certain speed because of a skill that has a precise duration/distance traveled; it just takes their current velocity into account and fires at the place they would be if they maintained the velocity they had when you fired.
I don’t know the exact terminology used on each skill, but ‘distant’ volley is just the no 1 skill when you have the increased range mastery I’m pretty sure, it might change to something else if you have increased range as well as increased damage.
my thief is getting hit with projectiles whilst doing HS, it’s the same as usual, dont know what your whinning about???
It’s not 100% of the time. It’s situational. It depends on several factors:
1. Which direction the thief is using HS, misses more often when a HS is used laterally across your screen
2. Which part of the HS your projectile fires at.
3. Proximity to the thief using HS.Some examples:
1. Thief spamming HS on a teammate ahead and is moving laterally across my screen, my projectiles will almost all miss.
2. Projectiles fired during the start of HS seem to miss, while ones fired mid-animation or near the end have a higher chance to land.
3. Close range projectiles on a HS spammer can land sometimes due to the fact that they are so close. It’s not whining. It’s a mechanical bug and this is the bug report forum.
That isn’t a bug, it’s because your projectiles aren’t homing (in most cases) so they try to predict where the target will be. If someone moves out the way in time then the projectile will miss; or if they’re moving when you fire and then they stop, the shot will have been fired under the assumption that they maintained their velocity so it’ll be aimed too far ahead of them.
Those are from people with arrow cart mastery.
You can buy kits from just about (if not) every bartender in the game world. You will likely not be able to complete the master of om achievement though, if the hylek goes away.
Tail clipping on most armour (including t3 light cultural,) stretched/odd appearances that came from trying to clone the exact armour from humans onto charr, floating shoulders (a lot worse on females, I believe) and horn/hairstyles being removed by helmets.
Then the devs say they’re disappointed by the human bias.
T3 heavy shoulders on females are some of the best fitting (and go with one of the few tail-clipping-less armour sets) but for some reason the back of them looks like it’s been hammered inwards, while it’s fine on males.
It burrows underground, why couldn’t it go under the wall?
The 5th skill hits multiple times so it does a lot to a gate, and if you use the 4th one while aiming at the gate (ideally at point blank range) with no target you drop the entire fire trail on top of it which does much more than the final strike. The 3rd skill is just like warrior whirlwind attack, but probably more damage.
It certainly does a lot more than most handheld attacks but I don’t recall if it compares to a ram.
Exotics appear in steel chests.
I instinctively spam my loot button when something dies anyway, hardly ever see chests.
Heart of the mists → pvp locker → preview torches with “weapon only” or “wielded” selected.
There are a few named exotic torches that aren’t visible in the pvp locker but it should almost all of them.
When they’re done making no culling work properly.
Even if you’re personally very survivable, you might not be helping others survive because so many attacks are aoe/cleave/pierce and you can’t guarantee you’ll have aggro anyway.
So, one guardian with a massive ehp pool isn’t innately helping the group because the mob won’t always be attacking them to make use of it, while doing damage is almost always helping by making the fight end faster.
Things like wall of reflection, blinds and aoe boons are helping everyone survive and/or allowing them to dps more and you don’t need to be survivable yourself to use them effectively.
Anet has said they plan to add them, but they wouldn’t suit the existing sword animations so they need to give them new ones first.
It also seems to need the gripping position changed.
The windmill the most exposed to the wind is the only (?) one that doesn’t rotate.
Almost every heavy shoulderpiece floats like that on my female charr.
Apparently the flame legion magic-users in gw1 stood up higher to be more imposing or something of the sort.
They will almost definitely do what they did the last time this exact same thing happened with the waypoint event in the temple of Lyssa, which was nerf the loot from the endless waves of mobs.
When they screw up the way charr cultural armour works on charr I think it’s safe to say getting anet to pay attention to the issue is a lost cause.
T1 and 2 heavy shoulder pieces are bigger than my character’s head and float far above the shoulders, the t3 heavy helm will have large teeth and some face’s muzzle fur stick through it. The cumulative intelligence of the people responsible for t3 light leggings for charr forgot that they have tails, which says a lot.
It doesn’t even seem like an issue of rushing to make armour before launch, as the single set (aetherblade) they’ve released since then has tail clipping on every piece (but it’s less noticable on the heavy one because there is less there.)
so what is stopping you from just killing the giant? Not like you have to stop just because some farmers tell you to?
All the farmers just out of aggro range would still be scaling up the event but not participating; so assuming those who wanted to kill it could survive the mobs spawning and the giant, it would still have a large hitpoint pool to wear down.
The head takes more damage than the feet, it’s the same with all three dragons.
The waypoint event farm in Malchor’s Leap was nerfed, so this will probably get nerfed as well.
This happens with almost every heavy shoulder piece on my female charr, they are massive and float off the shoulders.
I think shoot egg is actually a multi-projectile frontal aoe, so if you’re close to the vet chickens they all hit you in the face at once.
Generally speaking, you should pm a dev about it and file an in-game bug report with the ‘exploitable’ box ticked instead of posting exploits on forums.
That’s the one on a little waterfall, right?
While facing the waterfall, on the right of it there’s a sloped section you can jump up.
