Good luck finding it with the search feature, but I believe a dev stated that the sylvari version was misdone as “Hold this line!” so they decided the shout should be silent on all races.
Are there any other “celebrity faces” I missed?
Clint Eastwood?
We need random gusts of wind to appear on all the bridges and near appropriate edges.
If you make important mobs almost immune to direct damage, then they will pretty much be 2 person encounters because no one else’s conditions will fit in a larger group.
While going further down the line of mob diversity would be “interesting,” it’d mostly annoy people for needing specific builds eg. mobs that couldn’t actually bleed are immune to the condition, earth elementals are immune to everything that isn’t extreme blunt force trauma or explosives.
Fronis and his mate
Fronis is female, and so was her mate (before she was killed by flame legion.)
Unless you have some conditions keeping you in combat for longer, most of the map (maybe all of it) has a long enough fall that you leave combat and can WP before you hit the bottom.
It’s been a while since I used an arrow cart so I don’t remember, but did they ever have a minimum range? The marionette event ACs have a minimum range, and it’s possible they added that to the wvw ones with a generic “No los” message if you try to fire too close.
They should make a set of attack animations for those as a hammer skin.
The sclerite 1h sword sort of fits the description, but it also has an eye and is hard to obtain.
Do you really think 5% boon duration from giver’s jewelery is worth the 240 stats they replace?
If you ate the 20% boon duration food you could replace all the jewelery and all but two doubloons and be 3% over the 100 duration cap.
It could be based on your selected title.
“If it wasn’t for the courage and heroism of the Crabgrabber, Scarlet would have succeeded.”
They could just make them “Penultimate” titles.
You can’t get downed either, or you will fail the achievement.
The blue one is pirates, which allied with the inquest to make the aetherblades. The red one I’m not sure about but it could be small drawing of a minotaur maybe.
Go into the heart of the mists and get the pvp versions of runes/sigils from the merchants.
It does say “Prepare” to participate, but then again, so does Origins of Madness.
I think the platforms rise as you sever chains, as well.
Make a bunch of statless exotic weapons with names like “Dawm,” “The Legand” or "Zaq"drop from the first mob a player kills that day.

I think I did end up using a vitality food when in the lane 1 golem, the scaling seems odd if that alone made so much of a difference.
Perhaps it’s just a ’zerker nerf.
So far I remember manning golems in lanes 1, 4 and 5 of the marionette event and in lanes 4 and 5 they only had a few hundred hitpoints while the golem in lane 1 had just over one thousand.
When I asked in map chat the person who answered said their golem’s health was three thousand and something, so either it changes depending on the lane you’re in or there’s some bug involved.
This is a golem that was still sitting there after the event had failed, but the health is still the same as usual.
Is it actually in your bank? I don’t think you can sell things currently deposited.
With the exception of some town clothes dresses, all charr armour is based on the male variant that other races get and most of the male armour doesn’t look like that.
Dungeon armour, gemstore armour, the armour set of your order, various karma armours etc.
You can either use one of the armour listing websites or go into the pvp lobby and preview armour at the gear lockers to see what they actually look like.
One can only hope she doesn’t become the “Snarf” of the team. Still, so far so good!
Snarf of Snaff? One turned into a pokemon while the other turned inside out.
While I was jumping off cliffs
you say this as if it was a normal hobby…
You mean, it isn’t for you?
I like testing how far I can jump and only get downed. So far, if I have jumped, either I’ve lived, or full out dead.
Then you’ll be jumping until a patch changes the fall damage mechanics.
O.O When I enter it, I end up with no weapons equipped and some toy related weapons lying on the floor… Did I miss the actual entrance or something?
You’re entering Toypocalypse, go to the “other” one; I forget its exact name but it isn’t bell choir, winter wonderland or snowball mayhem.
Off topic slightly but does it matter what crafting makes the back piece? That is does a huntsman only make medium back or is it account bound and usable by all? Just wondering if I should buy more of each recipe.
Back pieces don’t have armour types, it doesn’t matter what profession you make it as, it starts out account bound and when you use it you select its permanent stat combo and it soulbinds.
I just saw a video of that (probably shouldn’t post it,) but yes they’re glitching under the map and using teleports to get back into it and skipping (all the) things.
Edit: Found the thread, that’ll do https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/AC-going-under-the-map/first#post3488856

It’s because the attack uses (short range) projectiles, they don’t deal with z-axis very well and inanimate objects also have a tendency to be placed slightly underground or at least at a different height to the spot your character aims at.
There isn’t really anything you can do about it except use another weapon; same goes for the rare fights where enemies reflect projectiles.
Maybe the moon is secretly a prison for an elder primdragon, and she seeks to awaken it.
You can try a customer support ticket for the unique ring, I don’t think there’s a guarantee that you’ll get a refund but people always recommend it.
Your “missus/”you do realise the broomstick is town clothing, I assume?
At least for the red keep you only need to breach the outer wall.
I think/hope most people would need to rebind keys when playing bell choir or instruments in general, anyway.
Actually bell choir is the one place where I feel like the default layout works.
I position the camera overhead and then I don’t need to move it so I can have one hand on 1-4 and one on 6-9. Because I can keep both hands where they are I don’t have the same problem of losing my position like in normal game-play (where one hand has to try and cover all the keys).
But I’m pretty sure most people have rebound their keys for combat and use their new set-up for bell choir too so I assume there’s lots of ways it can work.
Exactly, but it’s terrible for quickly using your skills if you also expect to ever move. The hoping part was that most people have realised this and changed their keybinds, but now have to change them back.
The burrows love teleporting you if you’re close to them when they die; the one that spawns the scavengers will very frequently send you through the closed door near it if you’re on that side as it dies.
I don’t see why they couldn’t send you through the floor, too.
I think/hope most people would need to rebind keys when playing bell choir or instruments in general, anyway.
There are lions in WvW eternal battlegrounds. Bottom left hand side of the map where the large keep surrounded by water is. Go check them out, I was surprised
I searched all over that area, and couldn’t find anything. Could you please post a picture? I don’t want to accuse anybody of doing a little lion…
(Disregard the little lion in the picture. I’m pretty sure he’s my mini pet.)
I think they (or maybe just the one) are on the swampy bit of land South of Wildcreek.
I’ve never even used it, but can you just set it again but enter a blank field?
I adore challenging content.
Since challenging content in GW2 involves a lot of dodging, you will really want to be on the server group that gives you the best ping (NA servers are hosted in Texas and EU ones in Germany.)
After a while of hiatus I have returned to find that the leader of a guild I’m in (and their alts) has apparently been MIA a few months. Their details ingame are all “Unknown” or blank and if I look at the achievements leaderboards using the guild filter their primary account name doesn’t exist in the list.
Also, in my ingame friends list their primary account is listed, but if I sort by friends on the leaderboards it shows one of their alts in my friend list instead of their main, but it isn’t actually in my friends list.
A few achievements do that, but they have caps on how many achievement points you can earn from them. I saw someone post that doing the puzzle 60 times is the limit for AP gain, but you should still get the loot bag.
You might get some pvp achievements, I recall getting the monthly class kill variety one in dragon ball.
I know particle effects “block” up like that when a character is petrified by the box of fun, I don’t remember if it happens from the Halloween ghost food, which would be a likely explanation.
Fight the watchknight…
Regarding point 1, don’t all whirl finishers only fire off a single bolt?
(edited by Serval.6458)
Did you exit via Kasmeer’s mesmer portal?
I think if you can put the very edge of a trap on someone, it will trigger even when they’re not moving.
The combination of multiple previously complained about mechanics with excessive bugs and poor decisions has convinced me the people responsible for making this content do not learn, and that I shouldn’t bother with this game.
A list:
- Solo activity placed in an area that encourages zerging, resulting in lowered fps for those involved for the sake of immersion. Common sense fail or decided watching others do it was worth this (but then, they could have made it a pvp style instance with spectating and free trait/gear resets.)
- Plethora of bugs related to mobs not spawning/despawning properly, the floor staying open, two players being sent in at once etc. QA/testing issue.
- Forcing players into closed spaces amplifies camera issues (worse on larger characters.) People have mentioned this for a long time, yet done regardless.
- AoE circles difficult to see on floor (Liadri fight, primarily) worsened by the camera being stuck close enough that you can’t zoom out to look for the falling darkness itself. Mentioned significantly during Mai/Horrik fight in AR, yet done regardless.
- AoE hits larger area than circles/character hitbox seems to lag behind while moving meaning you can be hit after leaving an aoe circle.
- Random actions out of players’ control effecting outcomes (guy throwing meat directly onto Chomper.)
- Previously existing bugs remain and continue to hinder content (picking up item/bundle animation does not always trigger, can be interrupted by your auto attack etc. and projectiles being ‘obstructed’ by nothing (could be intentional in the Liadri fight against orbs, but unknown.)
Sure you’re not stepping on any of the mines? They also insta-down you if you trigger them.
