One of the sharks I killed there dropped The Legend, that’s like… 590g per 10 seconds, or 3540g per minute. If you keep going, it’s 212,400g an hour.

I agree with “less siege;” we should remove ACs, ballistae, rams, catapults and golems in favor of golems with flamethrowers on one arm, ballistae on the other, shoulder-mounted arrow carts and the ability to materialise and throw rocks (while still being able to melee.)
If the omni-golem proves too powerful, these abilities could be split between melee/assault golems, fire support golems and siege golems.

That is one of the major WTFs of the game, something we can agree on.
Actually it’s not a “wtf”. The thief ability is an elite. Our’s is just a regular ability.
He means the axe whirl that thieves get when they steal from a warrior, it reflects projectiles unlike the warrior one.
They would have to make a change to the recipe/s (is there anything other than Gift of Battle?) that need them.

Why does everybody believe, that different accounts/characters have different rng-chances? Is that just the human desire to make up some explanation if something is beyond ones understanding? Or is it the attempt to blame karma, destiny, the universe or some random developer for just being unlucky? I will never understand…

Most arcing projectile attacks (eg. longbow autoattack) have noticeably more range than their tooltips say, so it’s possible you were out of range even if you were hitting and that would make your autoattack not repeat.
Unless it was extremely laggy at the time I don’t know why else it would stop.
The sclerite 1h sword has a similar blade.
Doesn’t the fire shield now grant might when people hit you?

You can change the charr’s name for 800 gems, if it bothers you.
Right now of all the “phantasmal” unique weapons (faded purple with purple mist), only the 1h sword Whisperblade and 2h sword Vision of the Mists use the basic sword/greatsword model while the others are either based on something less dull or have unique models.
I think it’s safe to say that the people who bought these got them for their purpleness and not the appearance of a weapon that vendors sell. In the event people do like the current model, there could be a mystic forge recipe to convert one to the other.

On borderlands retaliation still does full damage, in EB it does the reduced damage.
I’ve seen this mentioned before, in the WvW borderland maps retaliation still does full damage, but in EB it properly scales down.
I noticed that the direct damage ticks from combustive shot don’t grant any adrenaline, but if you have Furious traited (extra adrenaline from crits) then they will give adrenaline when they crit.
Anyone know if that’s how it’s ‘meant’ to work? As it currently stands that lets you almost insta-refill your adrenaline firing it into a mob with furious, but you get nothing if you don’t have it.
I had thought it was related to the settler/consortium buffs, but since you don’t seem to have those in the first 3 pictures I don’t know what it is.
Most arrow attacks follow an arcing path and can hit things a bit further than their tool-tip range, your longbow should be able to hit farther than advertised as well.
The 25 point minor trait in warrior tactics line, which gives a single stack of might when you revive someone. The first two minors in that line (gain toughness while reviving and revive 10% faster respectively) aren’t wonderful either, but they aren’t that useless.
I thought/think that your gear was/is scaled up as well, to a level 80 item of the same quality and stats.
Assuming this is true, it still leaves you with a mix of blues, greens and yellows against people who are probably in full exotics (or with ascended jewelery) and have 70 trait points to spend.
Arrow Carts still love you, though.
I think you can harvest blooming passiflora with anything, as the bit you harvest isn’t a regular crafting material, and is equivalent to orbs/gems (which you receive even when using a below-tier tool.)
Protip: Don’t Wall of Reflection a volley of acid pools back under one when it has retal. up.
You gotta admit though, Vevina and Fyonna are also hot.
Also the Human T3 armor merchant. That’s right, the npc herself!

I had already done the puzzle myself and jumped off prior to being portal’d, so I just broke a jar of harpy pheromones on the mesmer as thanks.
This seems like it might be kept in; the previous installments like the Halloween pumpkin-moba and maze plus the Wintersday gift-retrieval were all part of a seasonal thing that went away, while this is part of Southsun (and not even related to the living story.) So it would make sense that it stayed (unless the refugees/settlers happen to leave Southsun.)

Isn’t this the event where you damage it until it heals and summons pets (making it invulnerable until they’re dead, I think) and then repeat until it runs out of pets and you finish it off?

Have you tried talking to the gear lockers in the heart of the mists? They should let you preview anything.
We looked into this specific spot and it looks like some of our bosses aren’t scaling properly. We’ve got our QA team investigating to figure out what’s going on here, it’s limited to relatively few spots.
You may want to have your QA team take a look at all the high level temple-related events while they’re investigating. Since April’s patch, mob scaling for high-level events continues to be hilariously broken.
I’m all for challenging content. When one or two champions can practically AoE one-shot multiple groups of players, something is wrong.
The Risen Priestess of Lyssa alone at the altar took a zerg of over 40 people over 25 minutes to complete. As they are now, the temple events are simply not worth the time and effort.

I’m sure it would have been interesting to have fire extinguishing etc. require a water field on the target, with a nearby bucket having the ability to make a tiny one on the floor etc. but it would also require a good deal more work I imagine.

I think I got it a while ago; unless they changed it, you need to kill (5? I think) crystals in one instance of the event.

It happens for the running animation, I think walking/moving backwards still work and as you start to run the first set work but then they appear backwards.
Gladiator’s? Either way I think rare crafted heavy armour looks like that (gloves are the same set.)

If the instance owner (the one who triggered the door) leaves the group/disconnects everyone gets punted out, it’s probably that.

I think only the monthly achievement requires them, and it’s just complete 7 of the mini-dungeons.
The sword one is worse than the auto-attack chain I think, and the pistol is a worse version of unload. They only exist for new characters, really.
They were using an Altruistic Healing build (heal yourself when you apply a boon), and the hammer auto-attack chain creates a protection applying symbol which then gives near (if not) constant protection as well as healing you a bit as it keeps reapplying, and you can use the No. 2 to apply retaliation while damaging. They could have been using healing symbols as well, but I only watched a little bit.
