ArenaNet has left me nowhere else to go, so fix everything already!
I know really. I’m so spoiled by playing GW2 now. My expectations are way too high for any other game now. I tried some of the ‘big hits’ of 2013 and tbh they were ‘good’ even decent, but they couldn’t beat GW2, even if certain things are bad (living story, ascended gear).

Seems like Drakkar Lake got one of your experimental Catapults for testing. It´s no fun to sit peacefully at Bay just to get hit by your QuaggaPult!
On the other hand, this would explain where all these quaggans went after they disappeared due to the Bloodlust patch…
Sincere apologies if recent inventions have caused undue harm to peaceful individuals. Quaggans were acting out of own measure. I take no credit debt.
On the other hand… looks like super obliteration weapon is working as intended!
We have taken estimation of the situation and are at this moment testing the effectiveness of quaggan ammunition.

Dear Wuvwuhers.
Please stop purchasing catapults. The menace of the century has arrived…we’re out of rocks to throw! We can not ensure the next time you use a catapult it will throw a rock, our supply of quaggans is still steady.
Ascended gear is the worst thing to happen to this game, imo.

Mhm, if I’m not mistaken we fought a norn mesmer around 5-6 times yesterday. We did indeed chase 1 mesmer from Jd I think around 5pm yesterday, might have been you. You tried to kill sentry/dolyak 3 times, each time running off when anyone from tech came near. And yes, we got so annoyed by your cowardly behavior we decided to kill you. We were just defending/sieging/upgrading lake & hills. If you hadn’t persevered in tickling our toes, we wouldn’t have gone to the conclusion “BREAKFAST!” (i.e. free kill). :P
Don’t speak about fair numbers by the way. If I’m not wrong you were also there when we were catapulting lake, and I believe there were some 10 Jd attacking our 5 in the end (barely made it out), along with a few WSR. And after that the inglorious trebuchet on Carver’s Ascent, that was the whole Jd guild, some 30 on our 5. Most of our fights are we (outnumbered) vs. zerg.
I’ll have to appreciate your method of spawning guild mates btw. It always looks like there are 2-3 in the beginning, then 2 more come out of nowhere, and 2 more and so on. xD
Oh and nothing personal. We just dislike mesmers, especially if they keep annoying us.
Most important thing to say though is, apart from the occasional zerg and the occasional chase of annoying mesmers: great match-up. We’re getting some of the best fights we ever had.

Actually most of active WvWers. It’s not even a secret.
and me too, cause you are minority, on every server roamers are minority
in WvW when we start loosing, cause we havent numbers, players are logging off, cause they are tired by continuing loosingim not talking about many 50+ WvW guilds moving to Vabbi, but new ppl can help
We always fight, no matter what numbers there are. We may not succeed if we get zerged, but at least we do our best and have fun doing so, even when we die, as long as we take as many down with us as we can.

Clearly he fulfilled his purpose. To drag you away from other places and waste your time. That would suggest he was actually a very good Mesmer rather than a terrible one.
Not really. He accomplished nothing because even if he kept us busy, we had scouts ready on strategical points, so nobody managed to surprise us. On top, we already had the whole borderland.

I’m curious as to whether or not they’re going to include the WXP earned by characters that have been deleted.
For example, I had a level 80 human warrior that I played a bunch of WvW with but decided he looked terrible and much preferred the charr equivalent and created a new warrior. I just deleted the human just over a fortnight ago since he was just wasted space.
I’ll certainly feel slightly annoyed if his WXP didn’t count. But then again, it would technically be my fault for deleting him.
That said, I am definitely looking forward to this change. Might even put a little guard leech on my ranger… Sweet, sweet condition damage.That is… a good question. I have deleted 2 level 80 characters not long ago, who had some ranks. Might be worth it.

..well overall i would say you have seized the main issue about “what” exactly did kill your team
You see, i think, there is not a “perfect” build or a superior team setup above all, it is all about what do you have to do with that team and what kind of enemies you will have to counter.
In other words, starting from your correct analysis, try to figure out the way (work on the builds) to strenghten your team, maybe try to establish what are the “key” boons you want to have at all costs and for the longer period of time possible during a fight and what are those conditions you surely need to avoid in order to grant your team a more stable and healthy fight.
Also try and assign different “role” to each member of your team so they can practice that same role over and over, until each one of you become part of something which eventually will work in symbiosis.
Naturally, every scenario is different and so should be the roles involved.
Picking the right opponent as main first target could make a huge difference.
Sometime “not” picking a target could be the wiser choice too :pIn conclusion, as Effsee said earlier, we too have a lot to learn yet.
It seems although our guilds share the same willing to improve themselves and that alone, is enough to forsee more “fun” coming :p

Heheh, thanks for the answer, I copied what you said to next match-up thread, cause we’re facing eachother again. After that evening we decided to work on a “fixed team”, rather than a loose formation of classes. Here’s our team combo atm:
)Rest is still to decide their role. All in all today was a very succesful day for our team, because we took on some epic fights. I think the dueling has aided in coming to a more specialised team. We’ll probs train a lot the next days/weeks and hopefully become better. Thank you!
