Not everybody wants to do sPvP, tPvP, WvW, or grind for legendaries, all of that is the same old same old over and over ad infinitum, yawn, boring.

What l want to see is more content, more interesting areas, regenerate the lower areas l want to see people, it’s all so dead, there’s nobody doing anything, the best time was the betas, lots of people jumping in to do everything and now its a dead un.

It’s dead out there, there’s tumbleweed blowing across the empty areas.

Just played in various areas for 3 hours, not ONE word was said in chat.

It’s pretty much a single palyer game.

If ArenaNet are going to do anything about this they need to get on with it, before people jump ship and leave.

The one I came across in the dredge mines (Timberline Falls/Molodets)was actually vibrating like in an earthquake, I couldn’t click on it’s name while it gathered to submit ingame report because of the movement.

I had the exact same thing in a mine or a cave somewhere.

It’s getting to be a waste of time reporting them, ArenaNet are not doing anything.

I have bots in my friends list l KEEP reporting, nothing, still botting for weeks.

No just the “general” obstructed for no reason bug, if it’s not that it’s the “invulnerable” rubbish, so over half your damage is just a waste of time.

Well l put several, at least 8 bots in my friends list several weeks ago after l reported them, they dissapeared for a while, but half of them are back on line now.

How does ArenaNet explain that one, they have typical no sense names by the way, and l watched them at the time, naked Rangers, there was no doubt they were botting.

Is it as has been suggested, only a temporary ban for botting ?

And do l keep reporting them ?

I keep reporting them, they are still there……………… a couple of them have been in the same area for about 4 weeks now, must be good farming there.

Put bots in your friends list, and you’ll see them keep coming back.

Yup it’s still there, and still very annoying when half your damage is obstructed for no reason.

Seems they just want to screw you out of your “virtual” money, just like the goverment want to tax you untill you bleed.

There’s no point to waypoint costs, they should be free, it’s a game and doesn’t cost ArenaNet anything to do away with the costs.

It’s just another money sink like repair cost’s and the “taxes” charged by the trading post, we get enough pay and pay some more in real life without getting it in a “game” as well.

The ‘Download failed please check your internet connection and try again’ message is just a standard message, l would think your connection is fine, l downloaded the game when l had a BT (Business) hub with no problems.

I would reboot everything, check you have enough HD space and try again.

I have had the same message as you on the very odd occasion. (Not with BT anymore).

It’s a grind and ArenaNet are going every which way they can to stop you grinding or making any real in game money.

It really is closest to a f2p game, except you have to buy it, so it’s b2p.

GW2 falls in line with many Eastern/Korean f2p games, it’s the same business model, except Eastern/Korean games are a grind, they realise that and don’t try to nerf everything.

Yeah good idea, l wouldn’t mind being able to do that.

Idc if you call me a scrub or chump because I hate pets, Thief and warrior are not the ranger, and I want to play a ranger, for lore and proffession reasons. I dont want to steal, or to wear heavy armor, but I also dont like being forced to use a pet. I love my pet, but I DON’T want it with me all the time, a lot of the time it’s useless and a liability.

Even more noticable with the presents that are found about is the dreaded auto-targetting of non-threatening mobs.

So out pops 6 or so toys, and I target them, target dies then l target the stupid moa bird off to the left that’s actually out of sight to me.

Great stuff, what’s that all about.

Just take the targetting of passive mobs off the auto-targetting, 5 agressive mobs in front of you that want to rip your face off, and l target a moa !

Of course if a passive target turns aggressive then it would be auto-targetted as usual.

Passive targets should also be able to be targetted by mouse clicking on them.

You can stow your pet away, but up it pops again as soon as you trip over a twig, even in towns when you have your town clothes on.

I don’t want the pet either, we should have the choice.

DR is a bad thing.

They don’t want you to grind, but it is a grindy game.
Some people like to grind, let them.
Some people don’t want to grind, give them the choice.
It’s a grind to get anything you want, but they are trying to stop you.
MMO’s by nature are a grind.
By making it a grind and trying to stop people grinding will just alienate players.

Bringing in DR is just a cheap way at trying to stop grinding, it just makes people angry and frustrated.

More content and more things to do would be a better answer than the DR, but of course thats more expensive.

Question, if only for interests sake. I was exploring the other day and run into a group of bears and their naked leaders running quickly past me. I managed to report two of them in time, but the speed they move it’s hard to get them all. Are you able to cross link accounts in that situation to get the rest? Or monitor how much time they spend together, as this would hit groups at once atleast.

Yes probably hacked accounts, but that doesn’t explain why they appearad to be banned for a few weeeks and have started to appear back online.

Pet fixes are great and thank you, but I’d really like to see a way to “perma” stow my pets and give myself an uptick in DPS by doing so. Some situations I just do not want my pet out. Yeap thats what l would like, but l don’t think there’s much chance of anything happening anytime ever.

We should have an option to get rid of our pet, and still be equally effective.

There’s many situations where you don’t want to use your pet thing, and meny situations where the pet is totally useless or a liability to you and any other people you may be partied with.

Drop rates have been reduced drastically, no word from ArenaNet as to why or what the purpose was l guess.

It just sucks.

Everytime l’m anywhere near anything l slow down to a crawl, why whats the reason behind it.

Ans it’s even worse being a Ranger with a pet thing.

Seems to have pretty much killed the normal pve side of things.

Lower level area’s are like tumbleweed, and nobody wants to do any other dungeons now.

I don’t know where ArenaNet intend to go with this.

I sometimes want to travel around the world to just do random things and help ppl, but the cost dissuades me from doing that. Isn’t world exploration one of the main selling point of this game? FYI, the cost is killing it.

Pretty much this, GW2 is unsociable enough as it is, wp costs just add to that.

Waypoint costs, repair costs, trading post taxes, it’s just starting to feel like real life with the goverment trying to screw every penny they can out of us.

It’s not neccessary, it’s a game, and supposed to be fun.

I had about 3 keys drop, but my guess is they lowered the drop rate (to maybe 0) because l haven’t had a key drop for ages.

Lots of chests, no keys, and l’m not going to by them and find rubbish inside.

I paid for my Xpadder, l don’t know what version it is……………

Um, guys, yes, this is a problem. Have you not noticed how empty low-level areas are? The entire idea was that we would not play exclusively in the highest-level areas.

Now if you had the option to – just riffing here – downscale a whole bunch of levels further, in exchange for a good magic find boost, or maybe just the chance for items that don’t drop in any other way – that’d make going to low-level areas interesting again from a reward perspective, and make it a challenging experience instead of a faceroll.

If you make the low level areas equally as difficult as the high level areas, but increase the chances of a good drop, then people will STILL stay in the higher level areas because they will still be better, better wood, plants and ore, better events, and still more players.

I want more and new content, I don’t want more grind for useless items.

I may be wrong but I think the cow launcher for the vista works just after the event there takes place.

Think I’d delete the game and reinstall from the start.

Looks like you have some corrupted files there, or somethings been deleted or messed with.

Yeah I would like to see an option for that, many areas the pet is as dead as a doorstop or a liability.

Give us the choice, and up our damage to boost it accordingly.

GW2 is a “money makes the world go round” game. GW2 is a grinding game…an ingenius one that hides it well…atleast at the start. Then u realize they lied to us when they said “no grinding” in gw2.

Occasionally an F2 or F1, maybe an F3 on the odd occasion.
