Ohh Kasmeer is indeed very mysterious.
And she has the defiant buff. There are just a few npcs that do, and all of them are pretty important (I mean, besides bosses).
I find it funny how all these plots seem unrelated but are probably not, since there are so many loose ends everywhere. I mean, nobody else mentioned the “snake-nosed, silver tongued person from the city” in the game since that one dredge.
I am hoping for a glorious finale when all these mysteries start getting solved by us, meddling kids!

Ah yes, the snake-nose, silver tongued person from the city. Might also be a description used for Scarlet. But we seem to be hinted at her more and more with these releases.

I only hope that some… unfortunate incident happens during the Bazaar and we have to yet again intervene.

After all, Mai did also warn us to “just watch the skies”.
And the Sanctum just so happens to reside high in them.

What ALSO caught my eye is that the Sanctum has ballistas placed everywhere. It might just be a precaution, but…

Well, “Scarlet” can also be a code name, or a title. I mean, it literally means “red” (it is a beautiful name nonetheless).

Kasmeer’s “mysteriousness” bugs me more than of that unknown guy. I really want to know if she really is just working for Marjory, because that silence and appearance of hers in the Marjory/Logan cutscene was quite intriguing.

It has occured to me today, the mastermind between the union of Flame Legion and Dredge has never been uncovered. Then, the Aetherblades mysteriously appear for no apparent reason, and they sided with the Inquest. But we finally do get a name, right before the fight against Mai Trin and Horrik – “Scarlet’s gonna have my noggin for screwing this one up.” I remember a thread about this before, but I would hate for this topic to die :x. Will we eventually get to her in some future living story release?

I also have my own theory of this “Scarlet” being someone from the Inquest itself, because, even though it’s an unlikely name for an Asura (which furthermore adds to the surprise, I suppose), the Inquest doesn’t seem like the type of group that could be so easily manipulated into alliances with someone, especially with pirates. Perhaps it's the new leader of the Inquest itself? They do need a new leader now that Kudu is dead

Quartz is ridiculously cheap on the TP now and dropping in price, it’s about 60 copper last time I checked, so go ahead and buy yourself a stash.

On topic, tbh I don’t think we’ll be seeing them anytime soon, and they’re likely to have their own expansion if there ever will be plans for any, and if not, as mentioned, they will come along some… larger living world release. I suppose. ANet still fleshing out their tactics with this, if I’m not mistaken.

Skipping like this is used by people that are to bad to run it normally.. End of story

There are certainly people that do it for this reason but saying that this is the only reason so strongly is just plain wrong. Many use skipping simply to shorten the dungeon run if they’re running for tokens/gold, nobody wants to waste time on useless mobs. You can’t call me bad if I run past, say, 2 necros and an ele in AC p3 just because they’re not worth killing.

The track “Zhaitan” plays during a cutscene related to Orr, while “The Saga of the Norn” plays during the opening playing a Norn character.

The point was that they could be used in so much more situations. There’s a lot of really good yet unused tracks. He never said that the Saga of the Norn wasn’t used, just that it should be in Hoelbrak.

For the rest, I just like how they look, and I’ve yet to see other characters that look exactly like them.

Nah, pretty sure that’s LA. They resemble the current LA ships too strongly, and I don’t think the crystal desert has pretty palms like shown in the background. And even though broken, they’re a bit too preserved for a desert environment.

It doesn’t look like a skull, just a couple of dots. It’s just part of the map…

Second: The Sylvari are not a hivemind. The dream is more a subconcious connection that they have no control over. They are not in constant contact. Also the Pale Tree has thousands of children now, she can not converse with all of them the whole time. It has been stated that atm she mostly speaks only to the firstborn and they kind of govern the Sylvari. The player characters constantly bothering her might also add to distraction. =P Plus: imagine how distracting it must be to hear Trahearne whine 24/7 XD

They do have a certain degree of control over it if they can severe it as they wish (the 2 groups I mentioned). I’m just wondering in what relationship they are now, since Canach’s not a villain, but not really a hero either, and if he actually communes with her in some way, sometimes, since I noticed a lot of Sylvari turn to her as aid.

He’s definitely not on anyone’s side, but I wouldn’t necessarily call him out as a psychotic character for what he did in the Blingg conversation. It might as well have just been a charade to frighten Blingg.

So, I was wondering, now that he has turned sort of rogue from everything, what is their relation? Has he severed the bond too, like the Soundless? Or does the Pale Tree consider him lost, like the Nightmare Court? Or maybe he actually turns to her for counsel?

Ok the errors i found with the story are listed below.

1: Sylvari glow in the dark, why wouldnt he be visible.
2: Previous pictures of Canach has him using a Sword and Shield, meaning he’s a Warrior or a Guardian. Neither of those two professions know how daggers work.

I don’t see why someone would care about gamePLAY elements when writing a story.

8/10, it feels very gentle, sort of fitting a Sylvari ranger in it’s own way.

You could go for the CoF set, but then again it’s used by everyone and their parents, so you won’t stand out that much. There was a thread a bit similar to this in general discussion, and since I posted there, I’ll just link the whole thing to you, check some of the Charr there. I believe “evil looking” is a matter of opinion.

The first things that come to mind are the Skull Masque of the Necromancers and the Orrian Breastplate (from Arah, as seen on my picture on that thread) which has that neat little detail of hands clawing you.
