Mistforged Hero Weapon Skins

sigh
Really great looking skins. I’d have picked up at least 12 skins if I could buy them from the gem store or from the TP as BL chest skins put up for sale…or earn them in a non-PvP game mode. It’s a shame one would need to take part in WvW to get them. Oh well.

Hey, Rob! As soon as you see a new Gw2.dat file is created then prematurely close the installer. The installer will want you to download the entire game all over again, but you just need the installer to recreate the registry entries and settings. Since you will delete that new Gw2.dat file and move your backup of your Gw2.dat file back into the folder it will save you from having to re-download 18 gigs. This should solve a potential registry issue with the game files that I mentioned earlier as well as replace the Gw2.exe file in case there was an issue with it.

Also, as there was an update today you will likely need to download that update if you have not already download it earlier. So if you see that you need to download files then it is just today’s patch.

Yeah, just checked.

it is somewhat pervy to sit here and check your breast size before and after pictures but after staring at your ummmm, chest region, I couldn’t see a big difference. Maybe because of the lighting being so different?

Okay this picture should remove any impact of different lightning.
The chest lost some volume

Left: after patch
right: before patch

I just overlayed your before pic (with 50% transparency) over your after pic and the breasts are identical in size and ‘volume’.

Oh seems like you did something wrong because I overlayed them aswell and there was a difference.

I did nothing wrong. Your overlay image does not have them on top of eachother, you have them offset.

Don't working high-res character textures

Also, if you want to increase your graphics and the quality, you can try using one of the couple options that are out there for players.

I use FXAA PPI for enhanced anti-aliasing, color richness, bloom effect, sharpness, etc. Quick and easy to set up and run. Can use it in many games without installing it in each game or copying configuration files anywhere. All profiles are switchable, copyable, removable within the program.

https://www.assembla.com/spaces/fxaa-pp-inject/wiki
Grab the latest FxaaToolSVN117 from the ‘Files’ tab.
Hitting the download button from the main page is the FxaaToolSVN112 as it hasn’t been updated with the latest version available.

Can view some of my screenshots here that show the boost to graphics: http://stinvec.imgur.com if you would like.
I also have side-by-side comparisons with ‘vanilla’ GW2 settings there.

See if you’d like to give it a try based on my screens.

SweetFX is another, but I haven’t used it for quite a while as I have no real desire to switch from FXAA PPI due to my being very happy with its options and results. Also, having absolutely no game crash issues that I see others having with Sweet FX is nice. I find FXAA PPI to be very easy to adjust with clearly defined effects so it is easy to know what to tweak to get the results I desire. It really has a lot of options. I also have absolutely no performance loss with it unless I go real overboard on the bloom passes.

Here was a discussion from about 10 months ago with some others on the application. Some more info there as well:
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/8-months-and-zero-optimization/1904467
https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/gw2/8-months-and-zero-optimization/1910878

It has some settings screenshots/file links there also for what settings I was using at the time. I switch up and tweak them frequently. If I am on my warrior I tend to adjust settings so I roam areas with almost a medieval tone to where things seem less saturated/cartoony and have a bit of a darker atmosphere or a less rich color to the environment. Sometimes I tweak it so it has that dirty western feel for one of my rangers. Sepia tone, scan line and noise adjustments are really great for this, especially to add a bit of a film grain quality as if in a western movie.

The High Res Character Textures option only applies to characters other than yourself. It can help improve your framerate if you do not care if others are displayed with high res or lower res.

High Res Character Textures – Enables high resolution textures for NPCs and other player character models. Requires a map change for the setting to take effect.

Zodiac Armors Feeback

StinVec.3621

I just pointed out a clipping issue on female sylvari where the ‘underwear’ of the armor clips right through the back end of the skirt of the armor.

Just wanted to warn others of this and to maybe hold off on getting the armor (for a female sylvari) until it gets fixed as it is pretty bad most of the time.

ALSO
The inside texture of the skirt does not match up with the outside texture of the skirt on both sides.

  • Outside texture hangs off of the outside lower bone of the waist armor
  • Inside texture hangs off of the top-inner bone of the waist armor

Issues are still there. Should have fixed this at the same time as the change to normal map on the chest area that was not even really necessary. Will any of the issues with this and the other gem store armors ever get fixed?

Show your characters bar!

Yeah, glitches on the portrait bar have been reported in the bugs section for a very, very long time…

From the wide-eyed ‘shocked’ face, to the buck teeth on the outside of the mouth, to the pinched chins and puckered mouths, to the partially transparent front plate of the Gas Mask helm and many, many more. Not sure it’s worth reporting things like this or general armor issues anymore, honestly. They didn’t even fix the many messed up gem store armors, so not sure I’ll even buy any future ones knowing if it’s bugged it’ll stay bugged for years if not for the life of the game.

Oh well.

/rant
(sorry, it really irks me how little care is shown towards things like this and how little importance quality means anymore)

in Account & Technical Support

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

Right-click your screenshot folder (choose Properties) and check if it’s set to Read Only. If so, uncheck the box and click apply.

As they have not always had this issue and the folder can have Stereoscopic 3D images written to it, user account permissions do not seem to be related to the issue.

Also, all “folders” display them as being ‘Read Only’ when you check their properties. Changing that setting only applies to files within the folder. One can not really set a folder to be read only or not read only, only files within folders can be marked as read only or not read only.

I am aware of this. However, it’s possible that some other program has changed the folder settings within the registry. This can reset the registry settings for the folder.

Of course, if it’s registry related (I suspect that or corrupted HDD journal entries), it could be very difficult to resolve.

Why would normal screenshots be restricted from being written to the folder while stereoscopic 3d screenshots would not? It does not seem to be related to write-access. Also, the folder has been completely deleted and it was automatically recreated by the game. If the folder’s settings had been changed at some point in the past by another program then the deletion and recreation would have corrected this change.

2 Ferocity attributes?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

I don’t think it is a big deal. From what I’ve experienced, I’ve never had to refer to my character’s personality characteristic (I probably even forgot what it was).

So, it can be safe to assume that when you hear people saying or referring to their ferocity, that they are referring to the critical damage spec and not their character’s personality.

As I already stated in my first post:
“This may not seem like an issue for most players, but it may cause quite a bit of confusion for many when talking about character attributes (especially role players I would think).”

2 Ferocity attributes?

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

Hi, Anet. Can you pop in here to help with this attribute naming confusion, please?

I’m curious as to why “Ferocity” was the name that was decided on for what the Crit Dmg stat is going to be called when that change goes into effect when we already have a “Ferocity” attribute in the game:

Character Personality Characteristics:

  • Charisma
  • Dignity
  • Ferocity

This may not seem like an issue for most players, but it may cause quite a bit of confusion for many when talking about character attributes (especially role players I would think).

Q.
Are you going to rename the personality attribute to something else or will we be left with two attributes with the same name; one for personality, one for combat effectiveness?

“Personality is a roleplaying mechanic that affects a character’s interactions with NPCs in the world. The initial personality is determined by how the player answers biography questions during character creation and is refined by the most recent 100 encounters with particular NPCs.

The game keeps track of three aspects of personality: Charisma, Ferocity and Dignity, whose sum is 100%. Dialogue choices can affect the personality by increasing one aspect and thereby decreasing the others. For example, constant bullying of shopkeepers might increase ferocity to a point that the character becomes barbaric. Similarly, frequent cunning will lead to a reputation as a scoundrel."

Rob. If you want to give this a go to see if it helps to fix the problem.

There is the possibility of it being a registry/corrupt file issue. You said the archive -repair ran properly and didn’t give an error, but a lot of people have been having issues with the -repair function being broken for a while now (crashes during repair at 25k files left to check). I think there may be some fringe file issues cropping up that get past the archive -repair command.

Without doing a full uninstall and reinstall of the game to see if that helps fix the problem, you could instead do this to keep from having to download the whole thing all over again:

  • Browse to your game installation directory and move your Gw2.dat file to a different folder.
  • Delete the other remaining files in the folder (“Gw2.exe”, “Gw2.tmp”, etc.)
  • Download the Client Installer (21MB) from your My Account area at the top of this page and save it in your game installation directory.
  • Rename this “Gw2Setup.exe” installer file to “Gw2.exe”
  • Execute this Gw2.exe file. Windows may ask if you want to block it from running. Permit it to run.
  • Running the exe will generate a new Gw2.dat file
  • Close the installer after this new Gw2.dat file is created
  • Delete this new Gw2.dat file and move your old Gw2.dat file back into the installation folder from where you moved it out to
  • Run your game normally and see if you can take a screenshot properly now

Black Lion Trading Post not working

  • Have you recently starting using any new programs like Mumble or MSI Afterburner? These programs seem to have an overlay aspect to them that interferes with the trading post’s functionality.
  • Also, check your Control Panel > Internet Options > Connection settings and make sure to disable any Proxy Setting that may be enabled there
  • There is also the possibility of it being a registry/corrupt file issue. The -repair function has been broken for many players for a while now (crashes during repair at 25k files left to check), so it is possible that this is related. Others who have previously tried uninstalling and reinstalling unsuccessfully solving this issue have ended up having to follow these steps to correct the problem.
    • Browse to your game installation directory and move your Gw2.dat file to a different folder.
    • Delete the other remaining files in the folder (“Gw2.exe”, “Gw2.tmp”, etc.)

StinVec.3621

I’m still trying to find anything that may help fix the problem. :\
Not having any luck just yet.

Right now I’m also looking into a way to change the directory of where screenshots are stored for GW2 to see if it may be an issue with the Screens directory in My Documents, or if it is an issue with the game installation itself.

  • You said that you’ve deleted the “Screens” folder inside “My Documents\Guild Wars 2” and it was re-created. Have you also tried to delete the entire “Guild Wars 2” folder from My Documents and have the entire folder re-created and not just the Screens sub-folder?
I know it doesn’t make sense, as the game seems to be able to create the Screens folder just fine, so it doesn’t seem to be a write permission issue. Just thought maybe it can be some obscure issue with the GW2 folder where letting the entire thing get re-made might help fix the problem.

I was hoping Ashley Segovia would pop in here to help out as I have seen other threads of people with this issue who filed support tickets. I’m guessing Support helped fix the issue as nothing further was said in their threads, or maybe Support had no idea. Unless Support just had them delete their game and re-install and see if it fixed the issue…which is not a real good solution especially if it doesn’t fix the problem.

I’ll keep at it though!

Weren’t all (or most) Nightmare Court Sylvari born from the Pale Tree and were then turned to Nightmare at some point? Do they not also count when figuring the number borne from the Pale Tree each year? I wouldn’t be surprised to see that all of the Nightmare Court killed during Scarlet’s assaults over the course of the LS Season 1 reaches into the hundreds of thousands (and there still seems to be many more apart of Nightmare to re-supply their forces).

We have revealed previously that someday, there will be Guild Halls in the game yes.

I hope it is in the massive feature patch on Tuesday. Can’t wait!

Tuesday is not the features only patch. That was rumor and wishful thinking spread by some players. It will likely end up dropping sometime in April or May, but even that is not guaranteed. Also “massive” is likely not a good description of what will be released in that update. Do not give in to player-spread rumor and hype.

Zephyrite Wind Helm

It is no longer obtainable. The only way to get it was to have participated during the Bazaar of the Four Winds Living Story event last year. It can still be viewed at the Black Lion Weapon Trader, but to actually buy one you need to use event currency that could only have been acquired from taking part in the BotFW event. So unless you did participate and have these fortune scraps still, you can no longer get it.

Not a bother at all! I like to help and to troubleshoot problems and the more obscure an issue, the better.

No need to worry about the Crash.dmp file.

I’m digging into Win8.1 issues and looking at both AMD and NVidia to see if there are any recent driver updates/releases or driver issues popping up that may be causing this.

Do you have an AMD video card or NVidia?

I’m also looking into possible issues with settings in their respective graphics utilities as well, but this seems more like it is a Windows software or keyboard hardware issue as utility issues generally still allow the taking of screenshots, though they are often of black screens when it is an issue with the utilities’ settings conflicting with a game.

For your Normal Screenshot would you try to

  • “Unbind” Print Screen from being the bound key and save the unbound setting.
  • Then re-bind Normal Screenshot to Print Screen again and see if it functions properly.

Then try to:

  • Unbind Print Screen from “Normal Screenshot” and bind it to a different key to see if a different key being bound can take screenshots.

This could help pinpoint if it is a conflict in Windows or even with your keyboard drivers.

StinVec.3621

HI, Rob! I’m happy to help out, if I can. I have a few questions for you.

  • Are you using Windows XP?
  • Do you have a screenshots folder inside of your game install directory and does it happen to be full?

WinXP users normally had their screenshots saved inside a screens folder in the game directory, but an update many months ago changed it to instead store screenshots in the My Documents/Guild Wars 2/Screens folder just like other Windows versions. It may be possible that when you are taking a screenshot you are actually getting one saved in the old folder in the game install directory as well as the My Documents screenshot folder. Since the game directory folder may be full, while the My Documents folder is empty, it will give you that Full message.

I’ll see if I can figure out what else may be causing it, but check to see if you have a screenshot folder in your game install folder. If so, delete that screenshot folder after you saved the screens you want from inside of it elsewhere.

Maybe you haven’t been paying attention. We’re half way through the sales and plenty of the skins have already gone up. Just because they aren’t the skins you are wanting yet does not mean skins have not been going on sale.

  • Magitech Armor
  • Braham’s Armor
  • Phoenix Armor
  • Kasmeer’s Staff
  • Rox’s Short Bow
  • Rox’s Quiver
  • Fuzzy Panda Hat
  • Fuzzy Bear Hat
  • Fuzzy Quaggan Hat
  • Fuzzy Quaggan Hat with bow

Also, they don’t have to put ANYTHING on sale…should be thankful they are putting things on sale at all, let alone 31 straight days of sales! Geez. And not everything will be going on sale, you know. So don’t be surprised if what you are so eager to get at a 10-20% discount doesn’t even go on sale this month.

Personally, I’ve been waiting for the Transmutation Crystals to go on sale, if they even would. If they didn’t, oh well, would buy them at regular price after the month ends. Lucky for me they did go on sale. Wouldn’t be the end of the world if they didn’t.

What is your favorite Event Chain sans Zerg

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

Harathi Hinterlands is fantastic. I solo the chain from the start up until Ulgoth spawns and sometimes a few people show up at that point to help out. But generally the entire chain is more fun alone so it is good nobody goes there on my server. End up with full bags and 6 champ loots. If some help on Ulgoth then you have your boss and bonus chest as well. Sometimes only one other person shows so we 2-man Ulgoth. Usually deaths are involved, but it’s so much fun! Generally can run the whole chain from start to Ulgoth in 30-45 minutes solo.
If you let Ulgoth’s timer expire then the centaurs regroup and push in on the last camp. Defend this camp and you get another run at all of the pre-Ulgoth events of 4 champs and a ton of centaur waves, which means tons of loot. Let Ulgoth’s timer expire again and use that time to empty bags. Then defend the camp again and do the run to Ulgoth again to get 4 more champ bags and full bags of loot. Can start from the defend the last camp stage about ever 30 minutes or so. Each defend to Ulgoth gets between 3 and 6 gold worth of loot (mats, junk loot) and usually 1-4 rares with 124% MF. Usually enough time to clean bags before the next assault starts…usually.

If you have an empty character slot you can probably create a new character, put the item in their inventory, then delete the character -_-

That’s a great idea! I like the way you think. You bypass the issue completely. I’ve been stuck on trying to figure out how to delete it via typing its name, not of methods of how to just get rid of it.

I know I frequently delete a new character without issue that has the Hall of Monuments Portal Stone in their inventory which needs its name typed in to delete it.

This is sure to be the only way of deleting it without further testing with the name of the item.

Can't delete finisher

StinVec.3621

Why delete it? Just use it then never use the finisher if you don’t want to.

Also, Arrow, if you have the permanent vigil megalaser finisher then you cannot activate the limited-use one to get rid of it. And since it couldn’t be delete due to this naming issue then players are stuck with it permanently taking up an inventory slot.

Considered that but it didn’t seem likely or logical. Wouldn’t you use the limited use finisher to find out whether you wanted it before buying it? The limited use finishers stack so if you have multiples there is no reason not to use them all when you get them. I suppose it is possible someone saw someone else using it and decided they had to have it . . .

Interesting.

@OP
Do you have more than one of this finisher in a stack? If so then you may need to write the exact number in the stack, which is not being displayed properly in the item’s name.

Call this Idea 2:
If you can see that there are like 4 in the stack by looking in the corner of the item’s icon, then write the name like:
Limited-Use Vigil Megalaser Finisher 4
or
Limited-Use Vigil Megalaser Finisher [4]
or
Limited-Use Vigil Megalaser Finisher[4]
(without the space between the word ’finisher’ and the bracketed number)

Or, if only one of the finisher and not a stack, also try:
Limited-Use Vigil Megalaser Finisher 1

I’ve seen this issue reported several times and I do not have the item to test out my ideas. However, I will give some ideas to you to try out if you would like to test them to get it to delete.

Apparently the item isn’t named properly and there is a character at the end of the name that causes a line return (notice the period is on the next line). Also, if you link it to chat you can see that the closing bracket gets sent to the next line in chat. [&AgEHuwAA]

Idea 1
Add a [s] to the end of the name.
Limited-Use Vigil Megalaser Finisher[s]

This seems to be the actual name of the item, but the [s] gets converted into a new line/return character when you link it as well as when it is displayed in the deletion confirmation box.

Lexoj, please try to clear your game cache folder as it should fix your issue.

Clear the game cache
Most TP-specific issues are primarily related to some temporary GW2 files where removing them will allow them to be recreated and the TP to function properly again.

The quickest way to clear the GW2 Cache is to:

  1. Ensure your game is completely closed.
  2. Hold your “Windows Key” and press “F” to open Windows Search on your computer.
  3. Search for “gw2cache
  4. It will find a folder called “gw2cache-{bunch-of-letters-and-numbers}” at:
    “C:\Users\YourComputerUserName\AppData\Local\Temp”
  5. Delete this “gw2cache-{bunch-of-letters-and-numbers}” folder that is shown in the results.
  6. Load up your game normally and your TP should now function properly.

If your search for “gw2cache” does not produce the folder I mentioned, then you will need to enable hidden files and folders in order to delete this cache folder.

Make hidden files visible and clear the game cache

  1. Close your game completely.
  2. Browse your My Computer to: “C:\Users\YourComputerUserName”
  3. Then in the window menus, click on “Tools” then “Folder Options…”
  4. In the window that pops up, click the “View” tab
  5. Select to “Show hidden files, folders and drives” and click ‘OK’ (attached image #1)
  6. You should now see a folder in your file listing called “AppData”, open this folder
  7. Inside that folder open the “Local” folder
  8. Inside that folder open the “Temp” folder
  9. You should now see a folder called “gw2cache-{bunch-of-letters-and-numbers}”. Delete this gw2cache folder.
  10. Load up your game normally and see if the issue is fixed.

note
By “window menus” I mean up at the top of the window where it says “File Edit View Tools Help”. If that bar does not display in your window for you along the top, then click the drop-down arrow next to the word “Organize” and then click on “Layout” and select “Menu bar” to enable showing of the menus (attached image #2).

Another way to do Steps 3, 4 and 5 to make hidden folders visible is:

  • Click your Start menu and then open Control Panel
  • In your Control Panel, if items are sorted by “Category” then select “Appearance and Personalization” on the right side, then in the second bottom area under “Folder Options” click on “Show hidden files and folders”. This will open the same options dialogue box shown in attached image #1.
  • Otherwise, if Control Panel is sorted by Icons, simply click on “Folder Options” from the list to bring up the options dialogue box shown in attached image #1.

[Suggestion] No camera zoom on downed state

in Guild Wars 2 Discussion

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

A long time ago a bug popped up and it caused this zooming in when entering the downed state issue. The bug was soon fixed and we had peace for many months.

Several patches ago this issue of the camera fully zooming in on your character when entering the downed state got re-added to the game once again. There were several threads in the bugs section asking it to be fixed yet again, but our pleas have so far gone unheard.

Hopefully this behavior will be corrected once again in an upcoming patch.

Game crashes when I try to log into zone.

in Account & Technical Support

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

Well, it seems the issue of the repair run crashing or giving an error has been happening quite a bit lately. Not sure why just yet. I thought your problem was a damaged file but it may be an outdated or incorrectly stored setting.

Would you please give this a try to reset your settings and see if it corrects it. This is basically the same steps as the -repair method, but adding a different command instead.

You can make a new shortcut or just modify the command in your Repair Shortcut:

Running this command will cause you to lose your saved game settings (graphics, stored login data, etc.) but may fix the problem. If you rely on your stored login info to log in, make sure you can recall what your login info is as the stored login info is also cleared.

Reset Game Preferences

  • Close your game completely.
  • Next, make a copy of your Gw2 game shortcut and rename it “GW2 Pref Reset” or to something that you will recognize it for being only for resetting your game preferences.
  • Now, right-click this “Gw2 Pref Reset” shortcut and click on “Properties”.
  • On the “Shortcut” tab look in the “Target:” field, you should see:
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2” or wherever you have Guild Wars 2 installed.
  • After the closing quotation marks in this line put a space and then add -prefreset
It will look like this but with your GW2 install location:
    “C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2” -prefreset
  • Hit OK after making this change.
  • Run your game using this Pref Reset shortcut. Your game and characters should load up properly.
  • You will notice that your settings are reverted to default. You should reconfigure your game settings once again to your preference.
  • You can then remove this Pref Reset shortcut and future loading of your game should be done with your normal Gw2 game shortcut.

  • On the “Compatibility” tab, check/enable the box for your game to “Run As Administrator”.
  • Hit OK after making sure this setting is enabled.
  • Re-launch your game with this game shortcut and see if the issue persists.

Game crashes when I try to log into zone.

in Account & Technical Support

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

If two characters attempting to load into two different zones are both causing a crash, can you please try this out to do a repair on your client and see if it helps fix the problem.

Check the game for errors and repair it

  • Close your game completely.
  • Next, make a copy of your Gw2 game shortcut and rename it “GW2 Repair” or to something that you will recognize it for being only for running a repair on your GW2 installation.
  • Now, right-click this “Gw2 Repair” shortcut and click on “Properties”.
  • On the “Shortcut” tab look in the “Target:” field, you should see:
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2” or wherever you have Guild Wars 2 installed.
  • After the closing quotation marks in this line put a space and then add -repair
It will look like this but with your GW2 install location:
    “C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2” -repair
  • Hit OK after making this change.
  • Run this repair shortcut. Your game will run through a repair cycle and fix any damaged files it finds.
  • After it runs through, start the game using the normal GW2 game shortcut (not the repair shortcut) and see if your characters can load up properly.

This always makes me sad when it happens to my pet as I cannot revive it.

I know that if you swap pets to another and back it will be alive again, but it is also a way to make yourself petless! Your pet will stay there and dead for any travelers that happen by it as long as you do not swap pets to despawn it. You can run around and even waypoint elsewhere in the zone and as long as you do not leave the zone you can finally be free of your pet!

It’s also funny leaving it dead someplace and seeing map chat of someone asking why there is a dead animal on the road.

Cannot load into Gendarren Fields

in Account & Technical Support

Posted by: StinVec.3621

StinVec.3621

Hi there!

I would like you to try a command line argument we have seen resolve this type of issue.

Please go to your shortcut for Guild Wars 2 and right click it and choose properties.

In the line that says Target, add a space at the end of whats there and then -prefreset

It should look something like this: “C:\Games\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -prefreset

Click apply and then ok.

Once the above is done, try launching the game and logging into the character you are having issues with. If this resolves the issue, go back into your shortcut again and remove the -prefreset line.

Hope this helps!

Hi, Ashley.
Is this -prefreset command line argument an alternative to completely deleting the local.dat file that has helped fix stuck characters in the past?

Also, does -prefreset delete stored login information like deleting local.dat does?
I’m curious as to what preferences it actually resets. Does it reset bound controls, video and audio settings? As deleting the local.dat resets stored preferences, does this command line argument achieve the same results without directing users to find and delete this file that contains other information that wouldn’t be desired to be deleted?

Sorry for asking you in this thread, I’ve just not seen this argument suggested for use before and I cannot find any good information on its usage and effects. I would really appreciate it if you could offer a little bit of details on what this command’s usage entails.
