Yes please, as a person who plays 8 different characters it would be nice to be able to access my salvage-o-matic, perma gathering tools, more important foods and whatnot without needing to find a bank or hauling the same items on every character.
Report them for scamming and maybe LFG abuse.
And why on earth did you pay them if you had been there in the first place?
Like when you have sit behind an earth elemental summoned by an ele for the Old Tom fight so it can tank the poison projectiles that can’t be reflected or blocked. Using a sword in that fight just sucks you past the elemental and gets you killed.
There are not that many situations where it needs to be used but it’s better than sitting there spamming SB autoattack.
How can one just play with weapon A and B and nothing else? You don’t have to pick 2 weapons. You have to play with all of them. I play with a sword, a horn and two axes. And if I have to kite -> shortbow. Against ranged enemies -> longbow. Only torch seems very useless and GS hits less than the sword actually.
Torch is superb when you have a LH ele in your group, couple that with the flame trap and you can keep a pretty darn good uptime on fire fields for your ele to blast. And GS is useful when you need to stack at max melee range like when fighting against Old Tom in the Uncategorized fractal.
As a dye collector who has every dye possible, I don’t care one bit that they put them out again. In fact I’m kinda happy that they re released them since now I can get those dyes for my alts and make them look better in my eye.
MRW a NPC dialogue starts in the middle of combat.
Allowing you to dye them freely won’t make ANet gems~
If it was as an option in a makeover/hairstylist kit to use your unlocked dyes then yes it would make money to them. And frankly I wouldn’t hesitate one bit to be able to use my F&F, Toxic and other limited dyes on my hairstyle accessories or even the hair colour itself.

Mystic forge: 6-700g = 0 precursors.
Open world farming: 3,685 hours of which most spent in dungeons and different farming event = 0 precursors
Trading Post: Howl, Tooth of Frostfang and Leaf of Kudzu, all bought with money made from the dungeons/events.
The 20/25/0/25 is just as good as 30/25/0/15/0 in organized groups. The effect of remorseless is pretty minimal and only works for trashmobs. The 5% dmg boost from bountiful hunter is a pretty good damage modifier.
But for pugs I usually use 25/25/5/15/0 for the Natural Vigor so I can dodge a bit more often and I can have Steady Focus dmg boost up more often.
As soon as you put a rune/sigil on them they turn soulbound.
So rangers suck. Anybody knows it and no respectable player would wear a ranger. And if you happen to log your ranger, there is hardly a group where you are not told by one or more morons that you suck just because you are a ranger.

1. where this really started and how can you really tell that a class or a player has a low damage without dps parser?
People say that a thief or a war with a bow does more damage than a ranger. How can anyone prove this claim?2. if rangers are improved, and would perform as a welcome (ranged) dpsers, how long it takes before the antiranger prejudice dies?
But it is true, I made a ranger character, I got to lvl 45 and it’s pretty clear that there is absolutely no objective reason to play a ranger over a warrior or any other class, they don’t do anything better than another class.
Except provide a unique 14% party wide DPS boost and 33% uptime on protection with spirits.

All nerfing berserker gear will do is punish better players, not make other gear more viable.
Please be careful with statements like this. There is absolutely NO proof that wearing berzerker gear makes you a better player. It doesn’t require as much skill to zerker as everyone makes it out to be, it’s not hard to learn boring encounters so that you know where to stack and when to dodge that slow, hard-hitting attack.
Yet it seems to be too hard for most of the community…
I just finished a full set for my main but not going to bother gearing alts with ascended stats. The difference is too minimal to justify the amount of money it takes to create a full set.
Also increase karma rewards from events based on the time when they were last completed.

Because moas have decent dps, AoE heal, AoE fury and they can take a punch.
Or just maybe make the pets react immediately after they get swapped instead of idling around for few seconds…
Read this and then figure out why people hesitate to take rangers to dungeons.

really, 1X should be enough for a dungeon exclusive armor, doing it 3-4X for the same is already a grind in my eyes.
and you know what, i love to take my sweet time, i bet most of you don’t even care about the story or the environment Anet worked so hard to create.
I did enjoy the story and environment for a while but after hundreds of runs of the same content it gets frustrating to hear the same NPC doing the exact same dialogue at the exact same spot for the millionth time.
That’s why I’d rather get trough it faster and more efficiently to get my rewards and move on to the next thing to get some more shinies.

Afaik you go to the Black Lion weapons specialist above the trading post in LA (same dude that sells ticket skins) with your gathering tools in your inventory. He should give you a prompt to swap them for accountbound versions.
Get an exotic weapon box from fractals. Your extra offhand weapon will automatically go there when you swap to a 2 handed weapon.
So im at 10% and 1G downloaded, What a joke! maybe include the new patches in the game installation from the disc, what an absolute joke having to D\L 10G before i can play…..

Silver doubloons are used in crafting the Juggernaut whereas gold doubloons are only used in some major sigil or rune recipes.

random side not though. Why would PvT gear be the Meta in WvW? over knights? or do I just not know enough about the meta there? given that you could have the better damage but still retain survivability?
or is it the vitality people are after to buffer against conditions as well as the direct hits?
It is because of the combination of vitality and toughness giving buffer against both direct damage and condition specs. And high dmg isn’t as important in large scale battles as long as you can spam staff #1 to keep the lootbags rolling in.

But I do agree that there needs to be some changes to make the sword less frustrating to use outside of pvp.
If you do dungeons then make a mix of berserkers and assassins armor.
Assassins helmet, zerker shoulders, assassins chest, zerker gloves, assasins pants and zerker boots.
Toughness and vitality are absolutely useless in PvE when 90% of incoming damage can be avoided with dodges, evasion skills, blinds and other means.
S/P for trash clearing and D/D for single target boss encounters.
Poster number one is a PvE player that wants extra survivability.
Poster number two is a PvP player that uses it to stick to the target and keeping him permanently crippled.
I played with Dragon’s Tooth a bit after reading this post. If you cancel-cast Dragon’s Tooth or get interrupted in any way while casting it, the animation for DT will still complete, but it will not actually do damage. The skill will be put on a 4s CD rather than 6s. This is working kind of like how rez banner (Battle Standard) worked for warriors previously. So, in essence, the skill is doing damage when it should, but the animation can be misleading if you didn’t actually get the full cast off.

Had to test for myself. It turns out the Dragon’s Tooth > dodge was actually fixed at some point! Guess that fix was snuck in an update — it’s been too long since I’ve played my ele, clearly.

P.S. I am actually still getting the 6 second cooldown, even when canceling/being interrupted, unsure why my cooldown recharge would work differently than yours…?
I can confirm. Full 6 second cooldown if i dodge right after casting the skill and no dmg to the target.
The increase is because of the new years sales. unlimited Royal Pass and character slots were very desirable thus spiking the prices over the top. And today gathering tools and makeover kits will keep those prices high.
P.S. Do you by any chance happen to main a necromancer?
9.5/10 i really like how your character looks! Great colour choices and the weapon and back piece matches really well, too! My only problem is that i don’t really like that helmet, but that’s just a matter of taste. I guess i just prefer the leafy hair showing

:P I like how she turned out, though this face seems to look much better from a profile view.
I like the colours and the hairstyle seems to fit nicely, which is pretty hard thing to do with that flower. So in total i’d say 9/10.
Now as for mine. Here’s my ranger who’s been my main ever since head start.

Would be too overpowered.
Pop healing spring and proceed to maul someone’s face off while they try to use: A, raw damage which gets healed right back with the finishers or B, with condis which get cleansed and healed right away.
Only thing they need to change is to be able to interrupt them leap so you can use dodge when needed.
