You’re completely selfish if you want this nerfed just because you can’t complete it , how many difficult challenges have us more hardcore players had up until now? not many at all , you guys on the other hand have 98% of pve thats littered with AI that caters to the daft of mind. Think of someone other than yourself for once , the gauntlet is completely fine as is …if you haven’t caught on how to beat certain bosses by now you clearly are repeating the same mistakes.
I suck beyond belief at jumping puzzles , what ever achievement has to do with platforming 9 times out of 10 i’d never get it simply because im horrid at platforming period , you don’t see me running to forums crying nerf. You on the other hand i bet can complete it with flying colors , you cant plow all the content dude even after soo many tries…thats a common misconception. How selfish would i sound if i cried nerf per JP lol? It for sure wouldn’t be a JP left in this game after i get done crying…
As I’ve already stated numerous time in this thread, I am comparing the difficulty of this event to being greater than the difficulty of Gate of Madness, Glint’s Challenge and Shards of Orr… COMBINED. If you have never played these before then please be quiet about my skill. If you’ve done them you WOULD know how difficult they are.
This again is not a skill issue. This is a problem with the mechanic of it. Many of the encounters are very random and there’s virtually no feedback to assist you with what’s going to happen. When you’re being targeted by trebuchets or turrets in the regular game you can see the red circle and get out of the way. In these encounters THERE ARE NO RED CIRCLES. How in the world can anyone do this content with something as simple as missing red circles?
Hmmm maybe i have some type of special vision then because didint once get hit by her black orb skill that falls from the sky you know why? Because i seen the entire area covered in red circles , when i couldnt get out of that area i dodged roll blocked or invulned inside the red circles, once again its a L2p issue and also the deciding factor seems you have poor eyesight.
I grant other players their timers from 30 down to 1 , then i yell “Splat” or “GG” and i leave them in the dead state simply because they took forever in 1 gauntlet lol. 2 mins is way tooo much time to kill those bosses…seriously

No , let me tell you the issue with the people who keeps saying it doesn’t work. I started with the warrior Subject 7 one , watched it and was like ok time to farm this doesn’t seem to hard , till i actually tried and he killed me 40x to my 10ish kills on him in 3 hrs. I was completely infuriated but i didn’t once give up , the thing is you HAVE to get a PERFECT rotation off , 1 mistake and you lose all funds its simple as that. So since 7 was nerfed i had to move to something else and i sure wasn’t about to zerg champs because i want to play not fall asleep .
I migrated to Thief versus Deadeye since i was a bit irritated at the fact i watched that above vid and couldn’t replicate it due to the simple fact i didn’t own one (Guardian)…sooo i tried farming Deadeye with 4 gambits over and over and over…he killed me well over 60x and i killed him about 10ish times before i got the PERFECT rotation, sigils and utilities . Another thief spectated me kill Deadeye with deadly efficiency (every 15 secs) and asked what were my set up and we discussed it and now with a bit of practice he has it down to a science just as i do.
TLDR: Repetition , can’t replicate what you seen in the vid off the bat unless you know the class like the palm of your hand and recognize EVERY rotation .

Why take Scorpion Wire for start when you could just use infi strike -> black powder? Your init regeneration should be enough to compensate.
Either way, Deadeye doesn’t really need to be blinded. Even with full zerker, he’s only really going to kill you if you get hit by killshot or run over a mine. Especially with Thieve’s Guild/Ambush (which you could take instead of Scorp Wire).
Looks good to me though.
ive fought him over 500x , and i can tell you everyway he can kill you and when.
Daecollo somes up with nice ideas but he have issues finding that sweet spot..

I meant to write a post about this but underwater my nades fly with a gigantic spread..so large that only 1 need hit and the rest fly in opposite directions , they ALL hit ONLY if the person stops moving…its like guardians old scepter 1 but with 3 orbs trying to trap 1 target so they split up and make a huge radius around it lol!

Reflections currently doesnt work on his Killshot , and Tier 1-2 coin rewards are significantly lower than Tier 3..

The key to beating him is mitigating Volley , Aimed Shot and interrupting his final Killshot. I got it down to a science and the gold is pouring in…using a PW thief btw.
Versus deadeye on my PW thief i have a 70% win rate , his Aimed shot is completely random and does 8-10k per , being im zerker i can’t afford to be hit by it but it has no animation with a decent cast time , u have about 0.5 sec to respond to it or lose 90% of your hp and volley kills the rest. Mess up and dont tele to him at the end for an interrupt and kiss your money bye.
Yeah all it took is 1 mistake and you lost all funds placed on that fight , not to mention you had to run all the way back up there , 1/10 you’d get lucky and get rezzed but lets face it , you wanted a deserted pod so you can do it many times as you wanted w/o waiting.
Sustain is for those who doesn’t dodge the proper attacks

We are an endangered species and hopefully it stays that way..if they break the elementalist to the point of no return thats my new main..i live for challenge and Engineer is the epitomy of that.
This fight is bad for a number of reasons.
1. It doesn’t feel like it was designed to challenge players, it feels like it was designed to make players fail.
Long story short, a designer doesn’t give enemies instant kill attacks unless he wants the players to die. When he gives an enemy constant use of instant kill attacks, it makes me think he was basically thinking to himself “ha, lets see them beat this!”. Think about all the constraints being put on the player — you’re given an extremely short timespan, you have to constantly avoid aoe that kills you in a single hit, you have to constantly avoid clones that will kill you in a single hit, you are being randomly pulled to different areas by orbs with no rhyme or reason that can’t even be broken unless you move into melee range, in which case they’re still fulfilling the purpose of sending you to a specifc area whether you want to or not, all the while you’re constantly being pelted by high damage missiles that you can’t afford to dodge because you need to save energy to avoid being instantly killed. How many constraints can you put on a player before you’re simply not being fair anymore?
I could write an essay on this topic, but I’ll leave it at this.
2. It doesn’t line up with the gameplay style of other boss battles in the game
I’m not saying dodging isn’t an important part of the game, but as far as this fight is concernt it is the only important part of the game. Since when are we playing a game where you’re never allowed to get hit by anything for an entire fight? This doesn’t line up with the feel of combat elsewhere, and it feels forced. It also leads to the next problem…
3. Class disparity
This battle is undeniably unfair to the necromancer and ranger, each for their own unique problems. The necro’s problem: Has no invuln, no block, no aegis, no natural access to vigor. When a class is forced to buy two new weapons, and put energy sigils on them just to have a fair chance, it’s a red flag that the designer was too heavy handed with the AoE in this battle. Which is a problem for ranger as well — AoE cakes the entire floor and your pet will die instantly. What’s more is the ranger’s invuln doesn’t block the instakill from this boss, unlike the warrior’s. Your only option is to kite with frontal shortbow attacks on a flanking weapon, do poor damage with close range longbow attacks while the boss is constantly jumping on your face, or peck at it with singular axe hits. These options all suck. Also, the ranger’s condi removal is tied to their pet, which (again) is dead. It can be done, but these classes are extremely kitten in this fight. The effort it takes for a necro to finish this battle compared to a warrior is absolutely staggering, and it’s not fair.
I’d like to ask the designer of this content to take a moment and think about what his intention was with this battle. The fact that they seemed proud that only 10% of their testers were able to complete it says to me that they were deliberately trying to reach some kind of quota for making content that people can’t beat. What exactly are they trying to prove? I don’t think that’s an appropriate goal for a designer, and it doesn’t lead to a positive or enjoyable experience for many people who look forward to these events.

Its the common L2P issue , this is meant to test you PVErs who cringe at the sight of challenge , its clearly working as intended because its so difficult you guys are saying she’s bugged lol , took me 30 tries to beat and half of those 30 to figure out where the orbs were coming from and why was i being instagibbed. Got it down to a science and thrashed her with ease…how is it possible i did it and you guys proclaim it impossible?

I pumped 30 rare hammers + Forge stones into the toilet yesterday and came out the other side with a chaos gun. Not bad turn around for about 8g worth of rare hammers.

What are the chances BG will face anything other than SOR , TC , DB , JQ ? Slim to none afaik.
Rumor has it 80s are best but the chances are so low that 3x 75 + exotics can also net you a precursor aswell

You should see how effen ugly the rifle skins are lol , i wasnt disappointed because i’ve settle with the fact ANET doesn’t like certain weapon types and therefore rather copy and paste some pixels onto them.
You need to get into a 1v1 duel server and get practice versus all forms of classes and builds , they ALL have attacks that are pinnacles to their success…avoid it and you shall prevail.
