Well, in that case they could change a skin for a selectable skin box (much like various ascended weapon boxes) instead of solely selling them. And, well, chill out folks.
That was one of the suggestions.
Still you’re missing the point. RNG is a really bad way to reward players for completing high end content. They’ve done it right with regular dungeons, why not fractals?
Please, don’t sell skins for God’s sake. This is one of the genuine “OK” RNG stuff. I only have three but I like the idea of beating a hard content for a chance of getting a skin.
You realize every new skin you get decreases your chance of getting something useful, right? If the only skin you want is greatsword, you can get 5 hammers in a row no matter what fractal level you do.
Look at it from perspective of someone who been doing it for ages. The only skins I am missing are mace and harpoon. There is almost zero chance to get the ones I want, because the change to get a skin is about 3% and that will be a random skin, not just the one I am missing.
>Ebonmane’s Greatbow: 2 +5 Agony resistance (total 10)
You have to have it as your active weapon to apply AR.
Yep, that’s exactly what it is.
this is happening completely independent of transformation.

bump for a great suggestion.
I stand corrected. For some reason I have trouble seeing difference attacking golems outside the Firebreak Fort, but it works on PVP dummies.
I tried it on golems and it doesn’t appear to apply the 25% damage buff or the speed buff… Am I missing something?
These are some very promising changes. Still no 1h sword autoattack fix though
And Entange was more of a nerf.
(edited by Trollhammer.7439)
She has two different ranged attacks. One is electric bolts, which I had no trouble dodging. The other is well telegraphed pistol shot that teleports her to the target and one-shots most people… and apparently cannot be dodged.
I haven’t had this fractal in a while so I am not sure if it’s a new behavior. Mai Trin’s teleporting attack cannot be dodged. Everyone in the party noticed. A group that had not trouble burning through fotm 50 ended up wiping out several times on this boss before cheesing it through by stacking blocks and reflects.
Can anyone else confirm this?
Hilariously, reflecting her teleport shot doesn’t deal damage to her, but instead teleports the player to her.
I personally don’t care about ratios. I want just one strong male lead. Intelligent, cynical, physically strong, composed, occasionally drunk and NOT flirting with anyone. One who takes victory with a shrug and defeat with laughter. I want a hero that doesn’t wait for a villain to make their dramatic speech, but shoots the kitten mid sentence. His dialogs shouldn’t be about his mommy issues, but rather about telling people to shut the hell up and pass the ammunition.
I guess I just want something between a Krogan and Bruce Willis.
Nothing ground breaking, just a trivial quality of life improvement.
Allow changing utility skill to another skill while it is on cooldown. Apply remainder of the cooldown to the new skill.
The purpose is to eliminate unnecessary downtime while entire dungeon/fractal team has to wait for couple of people to change their skills because they are on 40+ second CD.
This is for the events.json service. I would like to be able to call it once like this
https://api.guildwars2.com/v1/events.json?event_id=1&event_id=2&event_id=3…
instead of
https://api.guildwars2.com/v1/events.json?event_id=1
https://api.guildwars2.com/v1/events.json?event_id=2
https://api.guildwars2.com/v1/events.json?event_id=3
…
Alternatively (and perhaps even better) I would like to just filter on events that grant daily chests.
Please look into making cities beside LA more attractive for people as a “home base”. Sure LA still have Mystic forge and Fractal entrance, but real reason it has umpteen hundred overflows is a single waypoint that connects bank, trader, repair, mystic forge, crafting stations and BLTC.
Simply shuffling around a few waypoints and service NPCs would make other cities more attractive. I for one love Hoelbrak, but getting between various services in there is a pain.
Password reset form is incorrectly complaining about password length being less than 8 characters if password entered has a space in the middle. It is probably a catch-all case for any validation failures. If I wasn’t a web developer myself I would probably just get kitten ed and contacted support about your form being broken.
The short answer he is NOT taking this damage in one hit. This is simply a rendering issue. Normally health bars fade out a portion of health and then remove it. It looks like fade out isn’t rendering on your machine.
That doesn’t explain why 2 people on the video noticed it at the same time.
They are looking at the same health bar. If they both have rendering issue, then of course they would see it at the same time.
This is only an issue at the start where harpies sit directly above you. It is is pretty hard to not aggro all of them and they periodically go invul while continuing to shoot all the way down to the spawn point.
This place needs a terrain fix. The harpies themselves are fine.

Another reason why pets need to be reworked completely.
eh? You mean them making search and rescue useless was a HARD nerf? I haven’t seen anyone use it for months to begin with.
Then you haven’t seen it used well. Grawl fractal, frak 48 for groups that don’t have the ar (and to avoid res rushing), dredge fractal, etc. Pretty much and high risk situation for resing was avoidable due to snr. Really feel for the rangers on this one. On 48, it’s almost a guarantee that someone is going to go down somewhere. That’s why snr was as good as it was.
Search and Rescue is a gimmick that is never really needed, and was not particularly useful in combat to begin with. That’s not even remotely a reason to bring a ranger. You bring ranger for water field and for crit spam with ghost pepper poppers.
While I do agree that rangers are at the bottom of the food chain in high end PVE, claiming that it was a hard nerf is absurd. Eyebrow raiser for sure, but a nerf? Not really.
The real reason for it was a heavy handed fix to rez at Jade Maw… of course 99% rez still works just fine, so idk wth they thinking.
Top 3 are guardian, mesmer (as long as they have focus skills reflect), and thief (since they solo half the dungeon which makes life for the team 1000x easier). After that the next tier is ele, warrior, engi. At the very bottom goes ranger and necro. Rangers were higher but they got nerfed HARD in fractals this last patch.

@Alphik.5327 Disagree with pristine relics being used to buy skins. In that case running low level fractals would become more profitable than higher ones.
They just need to add fractal skins and t6 mats to the existing relic merchant.
Nope.

For Cliffside:The las part have a good dificult, the problem is when you make a mistake and ruins all run. Solution: if you wipe reset mobs correctly (back to 2 mobs in each seal)
Funny because a few days ago I was in a lv48 group, our last map was Cliffside and for some reason both arm seals’ first two chanter are kill. We did manage to get it done with thief stealth break one side but it was still doable.
Yes, is doable with a good managment of the situation. But for a pug group is really hard to complete.
I was in that group we were PuGing two party members. It hard it just took a while to go over the plan with everyone.
Were you the asura warrior from Yeni’s guild? Cause I am pretty sure I saw who killed marked NPC, and it wasn’t the “PUGs”.
i support this request
Invulnerability is buggy. I still occasionally get invul mobs while standing on a plain surface next to them.
Please. I don’t really care if I occasionally get to see the guts of the world. As long as my camera behaves in a non-disorienting fashion I am cool with that.
Issues at hand:
- Fighting in closed spaces
- Looking UP
- Getting to close to various doodads (including resource nodes) or having them between your character and camera.
why is it profitable to begin with? Isn’t it just an exotic PVT ring?
pretty big title for a pretty small ask…
Sure it would be better if people wouldn’t be forced to wipe to be able to rez someone, but I never actually seen this happen, so it seems like such a minor issue…
Please. Right now it’s a joke.
Need more mobs. More variety of mobs. More veterans and champions. Have it scale like the new CS events.
@Komuflage.2307
You are applying an unfair difficulty standard. If a dungeon is meant for sub-80 players, then they are right to complain about it.Again, you misunderstand, I’m not talking about people lower than lvl 80, I’m talking about the average player I meet in pugs.
No, I understand perfectly. What I am saying is that content designed for sub-80 players should be easy by definition. And if your average pug is dressed in greens, he is just as good as sub-80.
Do I think those encounters you listed are hard? No, not at all. I completely agree that they are in fact too easy. But the point is that sub-max-level content has certain expectations attached to it, that you can’t just ignore.

no offence bro, but you are a really bad guardian – Trollhammer.
Now while he’s said some rather questionable things about mace and great sword, there’s no need to say that.
I don’t see the difference. If the guy tries to teach people how to play specific profession while displaying some pretty silly ideas about that profession, then he is bad at it. It doesn’t mean he is a bad person, just a bad player. One can get offended at it all they want, frankly I don’t give a kitten.
@Komuflage.2307
no offence bro, but you are a really bad guardian. GS is a single most useful weapon guardian has. Look up blind related traits. Lol like mad when leaping into bunch of mobs applies full stack of vulnerability to all of them. Mace isn’t nearly as good neither in damage nor utility, and Hammer is a better healing weapon anyway. Plus GS and hammer are on the same 20% cd trait.
Book is too slow and situational. And bow? I heal for more by dodging…
Like obal said, final boss is considered elemental. Tbh carrying around pots for this single encounter seems like a waste.
Flame shaman is one of the best bosses. Decently challenging and requires skill, effective dodging and team-work.
reasonably fast fractal too.
I tried to do it like a month ago and couldn’t make tears work either… probably still broken.
Reasons:
1) it will not be deposited with other junk.
2) it can be made to persist on changing zones
Damage and HP increase on trash mobs and bosses. It gets pretty silly on 40+. Number of trash mobs can quite literally one-shot everyone but heavy tank specs.
Ran… ger? Whats that?
yes, it is still locked
What item is that beside your gifts of ascension? Looks like another gift to me but really have No idea
Pact victory token. You get it by completing story.
Are they any plant to make use of excess relics/skins/rings? Or at very least make them salvageable for ectos? This is slowly but surely becoming a storage disaster.
If you mean the path 1 exploit at the end, then they don’t HAVE to point out each and every exploit/bug that they fix. The list would probably get very long, very fast.
They don’t have to do anything. But they really should.
Aroused is probably not the right word to use here.
Yes, pet heal while in downed state still doesn’t work half of the time.
