Both the EVGA 650 and the 550 Cyonic are Seasonic OEM and thus pretty flipping good quality.
Overclock the 6600K and you’ll have a beastly little system. If you can wait, AMD’s new graphics cards are out soon and are stated to retail for $199/£169.
An AIO liquid cooler is better for people new to PC building because you’re less likely to mess up installation vs a massive block of metal like a NH-D14.

Warrior
Scorched Earth: Fixed a bug that caused Cleansing Ire to activate more than once.
Head Butt: Fixed a bug that allowed this ability to go on interrupt cooldown after breaking a stun. This ability will now go on full recharge if interrupted.
I think warrior will be less overtuned now? At least a well timed condi durn should kill them now.
I tried queueing solo as a clerics ele and I actually want throw my computer out the window.
Watching teammates get 2vs1’d by a condi warrior at home, watching necros run into the middle of the map when focused, watching thieves do nothing the entire game.20-500 matches are not good matchmaking.
Yeah, I’m 3v1ing on their point and my team is 3v1 on our point…3-4 people go to try and take a temple buff and lose home/mid/far. Facedesk
~42.9% is the lowest you can get to progress.
LLLLWWW = net positive 1 pip.
At a win rate like that it’s 35 games to get out of amber (all wins give pip) and another 140 games to get into sapphire… >.<
It would be 91 games in total to hit ruby from 0 pips in amber with this win/loss pattern. 21 for amber(5 pips every 7 games) and 35 games for each emerald and sapphire. Every winstreak would secure a tier in emerald/sapphire.
The losses do nothing except provide the bonus pip for a streak which isn’t even needed until sapphire. The 42.9% is just the lowest it would possibly take to progress thru ruby and beyond and is actually harder if you perform closer to 50% unless you can secure streaks.
aahh, I was assuming 1 pip per 7 games, my bad.

When PvP throws you lemons, watch them chase the thief all over the map while you bash your head on the desk.
The push trick is from one of their longbow skills and can be dodged.
Any LB ability except 4 and 5. Including autos.
Yeah. +1 for OBS. Easiest stream software to setup as well as free. I used to use it to stream neverwinter and swtor.

Don’t you know guardian is in a good place?
i7 2700K @ 5.3GHz and a GTX780ti. Roughly 60fps everywhere except zergs where it drops to 30-45fps. I play at 2560×1600 with everything maxed except AA, which is set to FXAA.
If you want GW2 to run smoother you need the best single thread CPU performance you can get because the engine is archaic.
From the classes I play.
1) Dragonhunter – Ranged AOE CC and AOE high damage traps makes most HoT mobs a joke, spike damage is still excellent, especially in full zerk. It might be woefully poor at sustaining in PvP, but it’s excellent in the jungle.
2) Tempest – Overload air, enough said. Just don’t get hit by anything big if you’re running zerker.
3) Chronomancer – Kiting and clones for days, can take a while to kill champs if solo though, I use a rabid condi build in open world. Stock mesmer lacks in clone spam vs chrono as well as not be able to use shield so requires more kiting to compensate.
4) Berzerker/Warrior – PewPewPew into bashbashsmash, lots of stability and healing from adrenal health make most HoT mobs easy to deal with. Even with full zerker you shouldn’t be dying unless you’re caught afk.
5) Herald/Revenant – Survives just as well as other classes in the open world jungle, but I feel it lacks a bit in comparison vs larger numbers of vet chak/mushroom/frogs. Still, if you watch what you pull, shouldn’t be many issues.
Classes I’ve heard are great are Ranger/Druid and Necro/Reaper mostly because the minions/pet tanks everything for you.
People are still complaining about DH LB5?
Also there’s a ICD on how fast stab stacks can be removed now.
For the next week, you follow the champ train in frostgorge sound.
I’d hate to see the price tag that ANet would put on a multi region home.
Those SWTOR houses weren’t cheap either. I remember it going up to 7-9mill credits to fully unlock the bigger strongholds.
Going off the kinda things that would buy you in SWTOR, that’s 3-4 BIS crafted weapons or 3-4 nightmare raid carries (at the prices my former team charged). Roughly equal to multiple legendary money in GW2 I’d say.
The problem is anet doesn’t know what to do with guardian. They said as much in on point. Having high spike means scrubs will die to it, so they can’t buff it. However they even acknowledged that it isn’t viable on high level play.
They don’t have to buff dragonhunter damage, they could buff our party support builds or make traits my synergistic. They just can’t be bothered.
At the 8.25 fight mid an enemy (engi?) peels off heading to your close. At that point it was a 3v1 mid and you could have rotated leaving the remaining ele to stalemate or ele+necro to kill.
At 8.30 an enemy warr is seen at lord. Meanwhile most of your team is still kittening around 3v1 mid and 2v1 (or 2v2 can’t see very well) close. Someone should begun moving once the warr appeared on the minimap.
Only at 8.50 does your team begin to rotate to lord. A necro arrives just as your lord dies. At that point you shouldn’t have continued into your base to kill the warrior but had someone push far so they can’t get the points needed to close out and hope for the best.
tl;dr bad rotations all around in the last 1 1/2 mins cost you the game.
(I didn’t watch the first 7 mins btw)

Haha, Wow, i get this resolution on my laptop. Its amazing how much technology has advanced in a year
I theoretically can as well. Not that I’d ever run a game at 4k on a 15" laptop screen since I don’t have hubble telescopes for eyes.
Ehh…AB multiloot creates no new gold, so the AH fees from shifting all your salvage loot around probably acts as an overall sink.
World Summit seemed worse to me. I too wished for skippable dialogue and cutscenes when doing achievement runs.
Tangled Depths is by far the worst designed map of any game I’ve ever played. Including Moria in LOTRO. It’s an enormous mess with vets around every corner and under every leaf that makes travelling outside of the designated lane areas a kittening pain.
I avoid this hole unless I need ley line crystals and I very much doubt I’ll ever bother doing map completion unless there’s a big zerg doing it at once.
It’s frankly amazing that Anet managed to make a map more irritating than Dry Top (thanks to it’s sandstorm and crystal mechanic) but with TD they managed it.

Thought I’d share. Image below :P
We all have our burdens to bear.
~EW
Yeah, that’s wrong. Lydia is sworn to carry my burdens.
Eles are weak to CC + burst. Eles are only unkillable if you let them cast all their active defense and heals. CC them then blow through their 13-14k HP pool.
I’m not saying it’s ideal, but it is what it is. I too would like to see things added to HoTM, something like a JP maybe some mini games like the challenges that are in HoT.
A mystic toilet.

Both looks like decent mechanical keyboards. At that price they probably use knock-off cherry clone switches though. The FS section in any PC forum or Geekhack will probably have some brand name mechys for much lower prices than retail if you don’t mind second hand.
@Fermi, mechy prices are kinda high in the UK for the stuff that’s cheap in the USA, but there’s a decent selection of £60-80 stuff from retailers here (one of our supermarkets, Tesco, has it’s own mechanical keyboard range now with RGB and everything!)
Female human elementalist, honorable mentions, human female mesmer, human male thief.

Class stacking is complete bs right now. Really needs to be locked at 2 of each class, max. Multiple 3-4 ele/engi/warr games, all the kittening time.
Or just stick everyone that’s in the game into a class picker before starting. You queue on any class/char. Game pops, you get some time to pick the char you’re actually going to play, one at a time.
Ofc it wouldn’t be such a kittening issue if the game didn’t always have 1-2 ridiculously OP specs that only get better if you stack them.

LOL, this is still bugged.
Inside the chests are more chests.
And inside those chests are bags!
I get ascended inside some of these! (1/1000)
Not for GW2. Game is heavily CPU limited.
For Star Citizen with VR though…
Oh, I was refering to why people don’t run 1h sword much now. Too many projectiles for a melee weapon. Needs a pretty massive overhaul tbh (along with every other guard weapon except LB and focus).
Cause everything and their mother has reflects and projectile absorbs now.
We had this. It was a different tab entirely for Premades and that 1 or 2 solo players who absolutely didn’t mind the challenge at times. But this lead to incredibly high queue times for 5 man teams… to the point where they often waited 10m++ until they found a game.
So far, the current solution caters casuals and 5man teams both. Unless you have a better suggestion?
Before I left the game, Neverwinter implemented a system where premades (3-5players) were preferentially matched against other premades. This increased queue times somewhat for premade teams but not to the level of having a separate queue.
I believe cryptic did a few passes to tune the queue times, since when it was first launched 20min+ times were common for top tier teams with all high mmr players unless other high mmr teams were playing (resulting in teams prearranging matches via teamspeak and private chat channels).
A tl;dw for those who can’t be bothered. “Over 90% of these traits are absolutely horrific”
Hmm what? Fantasy themed degrees?
He’s having a dig at Fahrenheit I assume.
Rata Sum would be much cooler I think, simply because it’s floating pretty high up.
LA should have a higher humidity given it seems to be a pretty warm place next to a large body of water.
DR might have higher than expected humidity due to the large lake dammed next to it.
Thanks. Some of the videos you linked don’t work

Lol. Nobody runs trap runes on DH.
Engi or thief.
Thief because of the lack of forgiveness with any build.
Engi because to make the most of it your keyboard probably thinks you’re playing starcraft.
I’d like to see a skip dialogue/cutscenes option in LS3 after your first run.
lets pray for some good news next week!
:)
At this point I’d love some. Guard was my first love, these days I just end up being sad at how little impact I have when I play her after spamming a few games on my ele or mesmer.
DH LB2 and 5 should have immunity frames for the whole cast duration.
/s
I don’t even bother anymore. Unless it’s PvE I don’t play DH if I can help it. I’ll play something that’s useful…like any other class in the game.
Yeah, guardians are in a “good spot”. lol.
Im still learning but it seems there isnt allot of room for building around dps from symbols, I would love to see some more from that kind of playstyle.
Except nobody stands in a symbol in PvP unless they miraculously got stunned or cced in it.
