Black Citadel, Diessa Plateau, Plains of Ashford, Blazeridge Steppes, and possible others
Since maintenance last night occurred, I’ve been experiencing some weird textural problems in the Black Citadel and several other territories in close proximity. It looks like Tyria is being smothered to death by a giant, pink blob, but it only affects the territories near the Black Citadel. I assume that certain rock textures won’t render for me. Unfortunately, I can only attach one picture but I can provide many more. Thanks!

Staff is one of mesmers best offensive/defensive weapons due to the Phase retreat and warlock, also one of the major AoEs mesmer have. Strong defensive is for sure, combofield finisher via leaps through chaos storm, can also combine with blasts…
I cant play without staff anymore, I die against anything if I dont have it, due to the retreat, I can force enemy attacks to miss.
Only bad is ofc bugged attacks it will fail on un-built oil sites, and Warlock may miss if enemy moves too much :/
For me, staff is fine no improvements except fixing some LoS issues and warlock missing it’s attack, but when you master the staff, you know how to make the warlock hit targets.
May not be a bug at all, maybe you have invisible bag?, it will prevent you from selling stuff in accident.
Have not seen the video, but
curtain can be traited so it does reflect attacks (projectiles)

next project… make my own demonic wings… I have this hobby of making 3d models… only bad is I just cant implement stuff like I want :o

And angel-ish wings for the selfless potion..
I can just imagine how awesome it would look on my asura mesmer, with oxblood and abyss/black dyed armor with devil horns and wings…
Or the opposite way, white / gold dyes with angel wings and a halo…
I know there are some bugs with the potions already, but I just can’t be the only one wanting this right??
Would also like if the demon set also got a devil’s tail, not needed but would add more awesomeness to it all.

Killed two dynamic knights, got loot for both of them but, only a dynamic core from the first one I killed, another player linked more than one of the same cores, so I doubt there is a daily limitation on that.
Edit, my bad, there is a chance for a core… rly.. and I need 10 of those… Just kill me alright

You can also open cmd, drag the Gw2.exe, in your case Gw2 only, and then after “C:\…\Gw2.exe”, add -repair
Like this
“C:\…\Gw2.exe” -repair
To repair client, copy the exe, and right click, select preferences, and add -repair in the end of the target
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Guild Wars 2\Gw2.exe” -repair
Is how it should look, start the exe, and it will start repair
Edit: the target depends on where you have GW2 installed, but I think you get that point ^^
The recipe works with crystalline dust, clearly a tooltip error in the recpie

Problem is, the last screenshot, shows that everything but the dust is able to be combined… Bug in recipe??
If not mistaken, mouse actions does not count towards afk timer reset, neither does jumping if not wrong, autowalking don’t walk either (my experience), seem you have to do some kind of active movement or use some skills not to get kicked..

Uv mapping slightly off – not a big deal.
Leaves have no “dual side texture”- making them visible from the front view, but not from behind.
First screen show the Uv error, may be hard to see.
Second screen shows (combined with first), that the leaves have no back side texture.
Ac always had a minimum range.
Remember the chaos storm bug… 18k-60k hits, that was gamebreaking and they fixed that quite fast. But now when our illusions are totally useless against anyone that is using stealth, totally normal…
The problem is not that, its that it is the same title name for two different and different time taking achievements. They should have another name for the EotM ones. Just my thought tho.
Edit: We say you get ultimate dominator… 250k kills WvW, and then they make a new way to get this title… with less effort… would you enjoy that? Now everyone can run with that ultimate dominator title… so… it’s not that rare anymore.. you get my point. Ppl who put effort in something should be able to show it off.

Warlock is my favorite.
That’s why I always run staff, defensive and pretty good phantasm.
(not pvp but…) It can do up to 20k in pve world bosses.
My best is around 19.5k. (exotic gear, with some ascended trinkets)

Only thing I fear…. thief with 11k backstab followed by 10k Heartseeker. (Don’t ask how that happen on 2.2k toughness)

Caution with this one, I usually run into two situations:
- Water Fields example: When I WvW, most people will want to blast my water fields so they can get self-healed. This triggers the following situation: If I didn’t drop any field (e.g. I’m a warrior) and blast on top of this water+dark fields that were dropped in the same place, which should apply?
- Fire Fields example: When I’m doing dungeons or even in WvW there may be cases where the zerg I’m with will ask for fire fields to stack up might for the next choking point (i.e. where zergs crash into each other). This triggers the same situation above: If I dropped my fire fields and someone else dropped a water field, which one would take priority for OTHER people? Last one dropped?
If you place a Water field and after that a Dark field, the water blast will apply, it is always the first field placed in the area that has the priority.
Fire – Water – Ethernal – Light
Will mean if you use chain blast where the fire field drop so some ppl blast the water and so on, you get:

Please fix this thing now… getting so sick of this. When something does not even AA when it is summoned ontop of a non moving enemy… it is bad.
As the title says, the Phantasmal duelist tooltip is incorrect when you trait it with Domination (III) empowered Illusions. It makes the tooltip say the total damage that the P-duelist does is 6.7k per shot?? (I am tank), but it only does like 2k total, it is just the tooltip that is wrong. Either fix the damage or fix the tooltip.
Sword+Sword/Staff but traited torch?
Wrong in the build, I use torch, and not offhand sword. Should be fixed now.
My bad there. Soloing the story was not that hard. It took quite some time, but you can skip most of the mobs with stealth
. And in the laser cannon room, you use portal. I may make a vid if the normal fractal is the same, as the story one.
Subject 6 is designed as a dps race to reliably bring down the secondary oozes when soloing, especially if they spawn close.

I ran straight to the flame room, died waited for the 1750 hp tick to go out, and then used revive orb. Portal in the laser cannon room, and then I used GS on the last boss.

Edit: Most of the attacks except the flame legion and dredge, have ranged, can be reflected with feedback and mimic, and the skritt bottle lobbers, they drop some kind of bottle that hits for 2-3.5k (environmental weapon)
You soloed the story fractal? Couldn’t even finish it with a group.
You have low condition damage and precision… but a staff. How do you do most of your damage?
The staff is not a good DPS weapon, but what it is good for is the Chaos armor and clones
I used against the flame legion enemies veil, feedback and nullfield, for light and chaos fields. I keep constant chaos armor up, and try get AoE retaliation with blast from torch onto my clones, or AoE chaos armor. That does the damage, since I use PvT armor, I get pretty high retaliation damage 325 something per attack, and the flamethrower flame legion enemies, basically kills themselves
, then it is just kiting the blade master or what they where called.

Solo the story fractal, did it today
if you are roaming i recommend you to have the elite mass invis, and the utilities veil, decoy, and some other good skill, like null field or blink.
With the guard vitality buff (5 stacks), and some WvW buffs,you can get up to 28k health. 3k armor. What else to say. Everything is in the link.
edit: the extra damage against knocked down or stunned (sigil), can be changed to something else.

Transmutation crystals. But it will cost some gold. But since you need 6, and 5 costs 200 gems, its 400 gems, but 400 gems cost more than 16g of runes, so. I’m afraid you have to buy new runes.
1. The hot-fix is using a weapon-swap, or use a skill(sometimes). Else you can wait 10 seconds(if no enemy is near.)
2. About skill delay/lag, it’s a server side issue. The servers cannot handle that amount and therefore the lag of skills. You can say like this “EXTREMELY POOR EXAMPLE” take 100 bombs, and let them explode in your game. All the particles in a poorly made engine, will make the game lag like hell for the next couple of seconds. If you make it render the things you actually see, there will be less particles to render blah blah. As I said, POOR EXAMPLE!.
In this case, it’s more about the ppl in the render area. Where they’re moving, what they do, (skills etc.) if you stand inside AoE, if enemy moved in AoE, is he defeated? You name it, But I agree, there should be something done about it, but for now this is mostly the reasons why.
Another example (STILL VERY POOR EXAMPLE!)
It’s not the best way to say that, but you get the idea (I hope.) it’s a lot of stuff to calculate in a 50v50 fight.
I have not been having this issue, but ppl in my guild have told me about it, and they get really annoyed by this, if they’re lucky, the skills may come back, but sometimes, not.
Either restart game, or change map, is the quickest way. But when you do raids, and it happening to the leader, it’s not something you wish to do.

I’m starting to get annoyed at this… Start a dungeon… The leader just left… Great… we can do the dungeon with 4 ppl. Works fine when you play the new TA path… and then get to the point you need 5 ppl in the party.
There should be a vote for other party leader if the “current” is offline.
This is one on the issues that “kittenING ANNOY ME”, I’m very sorry for raging at this. but it need to be addressed.

Mesmer also have these kind of issues with decoy portal and blink, probably more skills that have these issues.

…When I look at World map(default key “m”), I can not check my Friendlist,nor inventory and hero panel.
But I can check WvW status, and guild window.
Why not all? I usually check WvW stat before changing a map, but not able to see friends?

When I run a dungeon on one of my characters, can I use those tokens to gear the others? No.
Even karma is soul bound to character! If I want those temple trinkets, I diligently grind out the karma on my new 80 so I can get them.
All the components to a legendary are soul bound.
Badges of Honor are soul bound.
WvW Ranks are per character.
1. All your gold is added into a “wallet” so that means your chars will share the same gold. Your gold earned on char x can be used on char y.
2. Dungeon tokens are also added to the “wallet”, same thing there.
3. Karma is not soulbound, also added to the wallet. Karma was soulbound before the wallet tho.
4. All legendary components are not soulbound, some are , but not all.
5. Badges of honor are also added to the “wallet”.
6. Yes WvW Ranks are per char.
You’re pretty much wrong.
most of your arguments are wrong by now.
I say again. Karma was soulbound, but with the wallet, it’s acc bount. all share the same karma.
BoH was acc bound before wallet.
Tokens was acc bound before wallet.
And even before the wallet, you could deposit gold in bank, and withdraw it from another char, with the wallet they removed that function.
According to these arguments WvW ranks should be acc bound.
From what I read, they will buff Condi cleanse and Stability mantra to be AoE.
I would like this added. I hate being a support without getting credit for it. :/

Ability to lock golems, makes “Trolls” unable to use them, the creator can lock them and force other players not to use them, if the creator enters, the “lock” is disabled and need to be reactivated, either a 6:th skill for this, or a “interact button” to lock/unlock them
The creator can also “give” permissions to other well trusted players, that you know will not ruin anything, if they enter.
Also able to make Guild permissions for this lock ability, makes guild-mates able to use it.
The player can only lock/unlock, set permissions, and other players cannot remove the settings made.
And if the creator leaves the game/instance, the golems become unlocked for everyone.
