Someone say game crash must be related to OOM
when you read the log it’s not related to that whatsoever…
I’m assuming this is also effecting wvw but I dont know for sure
Sadly, it does.
It’s cause of the mesmer clones, if you tag a clone, and it dies, you rally, if you tag it and he shatters it, you rally. Needs to be fixed asap, sent a /bug already, hopefully it gets fixed within the hour.
also works in wvw, and pve if mobs had revive possibility?

Bleh, The reason is that gw2.exe is a 32bit application, and that means, you can only allocate ~3.5Gb memory (theoretically 4Gb is max) , even if you have 64x system it will crash cause it’s how much memory the application can allocate, not how much your system has (in the case you have more than 3.5Gb memory, and a 64x system)
Lower some of the graphical settings during worldbosses, it should prevent that error.
That’s normal these days, cause 32bit client. Nothing you can do but lower them settings or risk a crash, or you can go yolomode and hope for the best every time.

you should run a -repair command on the game.
Hope that helps, to repair the game, make a shortcut, and edit the properties at the target location, after the path to gw2.exe add -repair and then run.
Cannot disable/stop the living story season, I don’t want to replay it again <.< I have all achievements already. When I stop it, it instantly reappear…
Update: It seems this bug is only showing up on the first character I logged into after the patch. All other characters are fine, it shows my S2 unlocked and achievements normal. The problem persists only for that first character, even after re-logging.
For most ppl maybe, but I for some reason have both my guardian and mesmer locked out, cause I got achievements with both of them?
My ele is fine, and same with my warrior. (have not checked my non 80s)

Screen 2, Every achievement locked
Screen 3, Last active story on my guard
Screen 4, My mesmer have no story unlocked but no.2.?
Also replaying the story will give you the rewards once more. I got it after realizing completed the first step (again in the living story)

You should try find a more “proper” exception to catch (if there are any) like

(I skipped some of the code formatting), and I am not sure if I used the correct class definition for inheritance (I know it is that way in c++)
also if possible post the exception message, it may help.
you could try move the try catch into the for loop (the one the error occurs in), since when it catches it will break the loop, atleast the way you have done it now.
Seems to be something to do with sendori software, disable/uninstall it during the time, and see if it it helps.
I was not able to repo this, can it be limited to characters, or have you been waypointing before? waypointing cost some copper (or some silver) depending on the character level and distance.
Check the crash report, if it says anything with OOM (Out Of Memory), lower the graphics settings during the event, (character model limit).
You could try and use the -maploadinfo command line argument, it makes a text appear where the chat is normally located (when in loadinscreens only) to see if things are loading.

Will that include co-ordinates and a last flipped timestamp?

Does not the last flipped timestamp need to be in the matchup details, since every matchup will have it’s own timestamp when something is flipped?
The reason is the game exceeds the 3.5Gb limit (since it’s a 32bit client) I’ve had it happen a few times, if you lower your graphical settings during massive wvw fights, or during worldbosses it should help.
The trait works as intended, I’ve checked in pvp, I get my 3% damage increase per clone, and the tooltips (weapon) update when I create a clone, just the stats in hero panel not showing the correct stats.
From that error, it have something to do with memory allocation, and something went wrong loading models, but it happens when you close the game so it should not be that big of a issue, can also be unloading problem of gameobjects.
you are all welcome <3, had the same issue, and I looked around the forums (had seen a similar post before) tested it and it did not work, and then I realized, there is a server list I had bookmarked, and tested again (with a server that had a no timeout state) and it worked.
you could try the -assetsrv command line in the shortcut
-assetsrv 151.249.89.19:80
worked for me.

I had these issues as well. But in a little different experience, sometimes you instantly die, and sometimes you do not. And when you do not die, you can roam around (almost normally) but with the catch there are no visible NPCs, or players. However, if you invite a friend to a party (while in this mode, going to call it limbo mode), you will be able to see them, and they will be able to see you.
There are no good way to repo this issue. But there are some things that I think may help solve this bug/error/glitch/whateveryouwanttocallit
1. You can waypoint to get rid of this “limbo” state, or relog.
2. You can notice this limbo state “prepare” if you manage to get your mini following you (but like 200+ range away) first screenshot.
3. There is a “half” limbo mode as well, this mode will show some NPCs, and some other will not be visible, this also counts for players in the area. You can move between these zones without any issues (when I tested it)
4. While in this limbo mode, you are UNABLE TO TAKE FALLDAMAGE
5. I was able to crash the client twice, I was hoping for a good repo before reporting the crash window, but sadly, the tries I did after that never crashed the game, (I will keep on trying), the crash was the following (since I did not report it, it is harder to find the cause of the crash)

And to the error it have something to with collision that is not working.
6. There is no good way to reproduce this error, my ways of reproducing this, is running around (while jumping) in Lions Arch like crazy, and waypointing as well.
7. I was able to get a screenshot of a dead player on the other side of the map. Is that me?
So, the conclusion is, this is either caused by collision detection not working correctly (if it did not, we should have noticed this earlier) (not likely, but a possibility),
or server lag (most people in map chat think this is the cause),
or a client desync, or maybe a combination of them?.

It was across 4 hits but they were all at once for the most part, the biggest being 9090. He jumped on me and I was down, period, gone. I have WvW’d enough to be in the silver ranks, I have NEVER died this fast, ever. This patch is broken, fix it.
Before the patch, If I hit with steal,CnD,Backstab, 18k was easily a typical combo against a light or medium class in zerk armor, with my backstab being 10k or more. A war with similar stats could do a 12k+ eviscerate to same targets in one hit, not to mention 100 blades, a ranger could do 12k+ totals on one rapid fire, etc.
Before the patch a thief hit me for 11k CnD and 21.5k Backstab xD
Was on full zerk mesmer. <3 the damage.
if you look at the show details, you can usually get some error code, or description about what went wrong. That error window alone does not help anyone (unless you send it to anet), if you post the details on the forums it helps a bit more.

For some random reason you have to use ranged attacks to deal damage.
Blue borderlands hills spawning hostile guards. On FarShiverpeaks. they only seem to spawn hostile if they’ve been killed before.
You have to use ranged… I had the same problem, very annoying. I know it worked melee a while ago. Hope this get fixed.
I quickly checked the source code, it seems to use GW2.NET c# wrapper, and some other for json and other stuffs.

All I can say from that error log is
Exception: c0000005
Memory at address 00001c48 could not be written.
Means trying to write or read, to a invalid location in the memory.
what do you actually do when you get this crash?
If you are playing on laptop, I’ve noticed that if you hibernate and then start gw2 it will crash.
you could also try repair your client.

Another bug with the camera flickering is that it seems to cause memory leak.
Will post a video about how it happens.
If you’re on a asura and jumping in the water with the camera settings aligned to the character height, you will be able to see flickering between above water and underwater.
It may be possible to reproduce on non asura characters.
Also, the camera height for fps mode when swimming is a bit high, and the options for changing height does not work while swimming.
If the golem will be returned, probably not. Sorry for your loss :<
Remove the stack from your bank, relog, then you should be able to stack them.

the only reason you can place a guardian line on-top of walls, is due to it does not need LoS. Add it to the skill, and it’s fixed. (More or less)

Looks like you’re having some corrupt file, you could try a repair (adding -repair to the shortcut), if that does not work, I’m afraid you have to do a fresh download of the gw2.dat
And if that does not work either, it’s something with your disk.

Getting really sick of having to replay the entire instance just to try for an achievement, would really appreciate a way to retry or skip and do the boss fights / achievement element only.
Of course this unlocks when you’ve completed the instance once.
