Warrior. You know most of their burst skills, you need to stand still to make them go trough
Mesmer. Err illusions are supposed to be strong in damage, and besides, you ever stealth as a thief?
Ranger. Played it for hint achievement only, so cannot comment, but when I fought them they are weak.
Elementalist. Have same base HP pool as thief and got light armor. Full zeker ele will die in one backstab.
Guardian, never tried, cannot comment. But it’s a boon support tank dps style with low HP.
Engineer. I have tried this class but the turrets are not OP, they’re broken just as Terrahero.9358 said.
Necromancer, not that familiar with the class, no comments.
Thief. It’s a kitten noob class they perma stealth all time during a battle, and everytime I get close to a win, they just kitten away and reset their HP.
I can say the same as a mesmer agaist the thief. How op every class is, but I’m pretty sure every class has a “OP” build.
Take a stunbuild warrior for example.
He will try to stun you and switch to a more “burst” weapon, like this example
1 tank warrior with stun build, he has one main set of hammer or mace/shield, and then a GS for dps.
he will stun the heck out of you. And then DPS with 100b. It will work on most zerker build, but as I am a support. I can tell. They are kitten useless.
I can be stunned, attacked for 100b and then heal myself and I’m back at 100%, sure then he will do next burst, blah blah blah, just evade and use utilities.
I fought 2 stunlock warriors for 15min this way, until allies arrived. It’s more a l2p issue than something is OP in this case.
//as it is to 99% of the cases in these kind of threads.
If something needs a fix it’s the thief in this case. l2p I say again, or play another build.

guild finisher flag, shows the guild emblem, like a upgrade that replaces your current “ugly” to that one
- Norn – Ice spear like finisher flag
- Asura – some magical finisher flag
- Sylvari – Finisher flag is like a small tree or something that will grow on finished enemy
- Charr – something with charr style, like depending on “legion choise”, Flame legion has a flaming finisher flag, iron legion has iron spear… could be some more different, and ash legion has a burnt finisher flag, that turns into ash after finishing enemy
- human – like a Iron/steel spear(war banner like)( the look of warriors elite banner)
But it seems like I am bound to be ignored.
For me I doubt that the chaos storm sound is changed, more like bugged. I have bumped a thread in bug forums containing a lot of sound bugs for mesmer.
Chaos storm is one of them. Signets are a nother, I hear the player charge dialouge (Agony Torment Pain) – Mantra of pain on 1/4 or less 1/8 probably
But as we are mesmers… we are bound to be ignored for 7+months…

Some Bosses in Dungeons (lupi phase2), That spider thing boss (forgot it’s name) in TA (up)
You was able to reflect Dredge fractal last boss (Legendary mining suit) (AoE Bombs), with that superheated debuff it could do ~66k per bomb.
Subject 7 (Gambit boss), reflect it’s fire thing attack.
Probably more things but cannot come up with them atm.
Today I was against two perma stun warriors…. It was a JOKE.
I played support so they could not kill me. But it feels they really wanted me dead… fought with ally for ~3 min, he died, but I could hold them for… 10 min, Then my ally called help… feels they are the new warrior meta…

Cliffside Tower (WvW), I got stuck in the Supply Depot pillar.
I got stuck when I used a mesmer skill… I-Leap combo.
To get out I had to Wait til the battle was over, and then change to Blink, and use it to get out.
Don’t blame my asura (cries). My armor sets.
Support – Phoenix (gemstore), Zerker – TA
You can bind AoE loot button…
The kick timers are different from PvE, WvW and PvP.
PvE timer is ~1h
WvW timer ~10 min (20 if not incorrect)
PvP timer is ~2min

If you’re traited with vulnerability when using skills that interrupt you can ez get 25 vuln stacks. makes a f1 burst deal 25% more
Also it’s good for interrupting stomps, timing is hard but you can interrupt them.
The following skills cannot be heard as a asura. My experience.
Other players nearby(Non asura) claim they can hear the chaos storm sound, mantra of recovery sound etc.
Other asura hear no sound as well, or slightly.
Mesmer:

When I’m not support I’m running usual shatter zerker
I found my support to work very well, as I play WvW I can with one phantasm, and only stealth skills, perma regen myself and give my allies the regeneration boon. Sometimes also perma protection.
Hope I did not copy too much :S
I managed to have a 10+min long duel against a warrior… (I Won)
And I can hold a small team busy if lucky. 4 spamming thief is maybe not what I can hold off, but I may kitten them off
I can to 99% hold a camp against 2-4 ppl until backup/assist arrives.
Bumping this, cause it makes mesmers unable to play while transformed.
Agree the cool down is kitten ing me off atm. Else the tonic seems nice.

But the following things will make most phantasm summon fail.
1. Invulnerability
2. Blind
3. Dodge
4. Obstructed
Using a stealth skill makes my weapon go invisible…
You can inspect players in PvP, but not WvW or PvE.
At least an option to change between them. Cause the bright colors are “BURNING” my eyes. I’m a person that do not like bright color dots.
And the reason for the bright color is to help color-blind a bit.

It seems like Chaos storm “Start sound” works, (when casted and the effect start to show), then after that it’s complete silent.
Edit: Went trough all mesmer skills (utils).

The title say it all.
The achievement Playhouse Perfectionist is bugged.
It say. “Finish Scarlet’s Playhouse without dying.”
This is the case… I play normally… And Get downed… But don’t die.
Complete the mini-dungeon. And I get no achievement.
Therefore the tool-tip is incorrect.
I complete the run flawless without any downs. I got the achievement.
Mine also gone.

The bouncing attacks, with trait (+1 bonce), Tool-tip will not list this change
WoC, Mirror-Blade, Trident#1, Magic bullet.
Magic bullet. If traited with extra bounce, update so #4 hit makes confusion (not shown in Tool-tip)
Veil, if traited with extra duration, not shown in Tool-Tip. Stealth extra duration (PU), not showing +1s stealth for Veil, Decoy, MassInvis.
MW trait (20% more damage), not listed on Shatter #1 button.
Illusionary Retribution, Not updating Tool-Tip for confusion on MW, CoF,Daze

Wasn’t the lord moved down to the bottom level?
It was moved down to prevent Acs killing everything.
But I find SM fights easy (ninja capping), hard enemy got alerted they got a blob inside waiting at you.
It’s possible to change something. like another set of doors/energy barrier. Just before lord-room. Doing something, either the barrier got extreme HP, Cant pass it. but enemy can fire trough (OP?), and you have to do something to take it down in order to kill the lord?
Destroy energy generators providing a “immunity” shield near lord (can find them at top floor), Can be rebuilt…?
Both is most unclear to go trough but would make SM a-lot harder to flip.
Make Time Warp a Glamour. It’s already quite similar to all other Glamours, and I don’t think adding the Glamour fact to it would be horribly game-breaking.
Would make TW have a shorter CD in some builds, and Elites are elites, no shorter CD. Therefore no Glamour skill.
Topic says it all. The dragons except zhaitan is invisible upon combat, Well they are there so you can target them, but only for maximum 5 seconds. Then they go invisible. If you drop target, it’s impossible to retarget him. At end when the dragon flies away they get visible again.
I rarely use portal.
But.
Portalbombing (if you know how to do it)
TP golems (prefer thief with sb #5 instead)
Ez recapping stuff if you manage to hide inside a keep/tower/sm (done it a few times)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MjoiI_32ywYBinding Blade is quite special in that sense. Once the hook lands, you can pull people though shield stance or shelter, and apparently evades as you’ve shown. If this was considered a bug though, it would be with binding blade and not blurred frenzy.
This is what happen, Guardian apply binding blade before you do BF. While you BF, he pulls you interrupting your BF and your evade. Making BF evade useless. If you pop shatter 4, you can make invuln when he pulls, making his pull fail.

Veil last 8 second but I have never been able to stack stealth 3 times.
Edit: I did a portalbomb with a “veil” exit. making all allies take it go trough my veil making “surprise” portal bomb. Al-trough I’m not a fan of portalbombing after a fail I did some time ago (4months I think). Made my zerg die, so I try to avoid it, but sometimes I manage to and it is a real fun.

I looked a little on the runes, and I’m going to change them, as water is “meh” but works, there are probably dwayna runes that I’ll go for, since I want to regen-buff my allies. about SoI, It’s a change I can do.
Since allies don’t gain boons from my stealth I give them when my stealth has ended with SoI.

Well the clone spam is a con for the condi removal on shatter, since you cant burst your condi away. I am thinking to do something to possible change the dueling traits to something else. I’m not sure where they would fit for now.
This is my first build I have done. I may have done some mistakes.
What I currently going to change, Trinkets and staff sigil.
Edit: Water is for the ally heal on my heal, probably want me to change that… it’s bugged… I realized that when I bought them. I’m going to change the crit sigils then.

I am getting tired of most builds, so I wanted to try something else. I wanted to stop dying (full zerker) and get support for small teams. When I roam we mostly roam 10-15 sometimes less and sometimes a bit more.
So I did a support style build.
Reason I run support is cause I wanted to try something else
There are some changes I am going to do, but I’m planning and keeping “zerker trinkets” for the moment.
Pro.
Good healing.
Cleansing on shatter
AoE regen on phantasm
Boons in stealth
“Safe stomps”
Good Healing
Can change utils for certain moments – Trait also
+45% boon duration
SoI for giving boons to allies
Con.
Not always perma vigor.
Weak damage.
There are better tank builds.
Weak when it comes to making clone cleansing shatters.
“Prepare for long fights” (Solo)
I had some great fights with my new build. It’s a support, not going for the burst build, you can help with some dps on low hp enemies, and finish them with a stealth-blind stomp (Aegis – block is possible). It’s mostly to keep pressure off your allies by providing them stealth and boons, (heal from phantasms).
Reason I still have crit sigil on staff is cause I actually never changed it, can be changed for more healing power.
I’m going to look what food to run. To gain some more healing.

I really like the way minis work, and I love the Mini Liadri the Concealing Dark, but when I activate it. And I deposit my stuff (deposit all collectable) via inventory, it deposit it even when it is activated.
I know you can have one invis bag fot that, but why shall I get a 18 or 20 invis bag for just one item.
instead add a small checkbox or something that blocks “certain items” from being deposited.
And I know the invis bag is so you dont accidently sell stuff you want to keep, but I have never ever done that mistake yet with normal bags, but I keep depositing my mini, even tho it’s activated.
