Score DOES matter. The higher your score, the more you’ve contributed to the match. The more player’s you’ve killed, decaps and caps you’ve gotten, buffs you’ve captured. I’m sorry but anyone who says score doesn’t matter is full of it, and needs to play better.

A person’s individual points or score does not matter in slightest. Everyone could have a maximum of 10 points and still win just by holding the caps they control whether it be 3-0 cap or 2-1 cap.

The fact that you ended the way you did is very disappointing. Especially when this thread was never created around a question, but an assumption.

I was by no means outraged, I was saying that hitting that hard vs an armored target is out of line in comparison to other high damage ability’s. My point in saying I have no blocks is that I have nothing to proc CR and I have been hit that hard when I’m the only target. I was not (as you seem to be trying to imply) saying it was op cause I cant block it. I have zero issue killing a hammer rev 1v1 1v2, my point and that of the entire thread is that its to easy for a rev to sit behind allys and ruin you.

Stepping to the side is a great idea and works much of the time, however there is this crazy debuff in the game called immobilize that makes you stand still! crazy right? when your imobed its really really easy to make coruin connect. That wouldn’t be a problem if it couldn’t take of two thirds (or more) of your hp in a single hit, but it can quite easily. And best of all you can do it every 2 seconds, meaning its really no issue if it misses cause he can just try again and again and again.

Other classes can do the same damage output…. I am not understanding your arguement. If I pulled a DH and used true shot with the same build out (full zerk) and fired true shot. The damage would also be on part. (just using DH as an example, but power ranger as well with rapidshot)

Also you aren’t taking in account energy output on the revnant. There is more than just cooldown time for revs. If they don’t have enough energy they can’t use the skill.

um there is no way he can hit you that hard if you have 3200 armor….. Unless he has might + bloodlust + you have vulnerability + other traits increasing dmg done to you.
Assuming his weapon strength is 1166 (Max according to gw2 wiki), the hammer 2 ability has coefficient of 2.25 (this is for the final impact which has the highest coefficient). Using the equation (acquired from the wiki):

dmgdone = weapon strength*power*coefficient / armor
dmgdone = 1166*4000*2.25/3200
dmgdone = 3279.375

This is assuming that he actually has 4000 power…. he cannot achieve this without alot of might + bloodlust + traits. This is also assuming that he doesn’t crit. So let’s assume that it’s a crit and he has 250% critical dmg (Assuming he actually can achieve this amount which is not possible without traits and other players buffing him). Meaning that we multiply the base dmg done (3279.375) by 2.5. This will make him do 8198.4375 dmg.

So as you can see, I have assumed that he has very high stats (4000 power + 250% critical dmg) and he only did 8198.4375 dmg, however this dmg does not factor in vulerability. Let’s assume that you have 25 stacks of vulerability which increases dmg done to you by 25%. The total amount of dmg that could be done is 10248.

To conclude in no kittening way do you have 3200 armor because I gave him absurdly high stats, and gave you 25 stacks of vulerability. You also said that you dont have any blocks, so there is no way cruel repercussion (rev trait) can activate. But if it did, it would do around the amount shown in your battle log (this is very unlikely because he would need absurdly high stats, you need to have 25 stacks of vul) So I determined that you are full of crap.

^ full zerk build (all ascended), scholar runes, best possible power increasing foods, all power infusions, max might, max bloodlust stacks won’t even give you 4k power… Having this and 250% crit dmg is rediculous, so if he can gets this high of stats, it makes sense that he can do so much dmg to you.

Actually he didn’t, because he used a wrong way of how damage modifiers stack, or better yet, he did not use all of them. Also he used wrong damage coeficient for third hit on CoR. Even so, we can take the base damage that he calculated:

3279 (with correct damage coeficient of CoR it’s even higher).

And now we use the CORRECT way of how damage coefficients stack and ALL of those that this Rev had, we get the following:

3279 * 2,5(assuming 250% crit damage) * 1,07 (7% damage from Ferocious Agression) * 1,5 (50% damage from Cruel repercussion) = 13156 damage

Tadaaa. Without vulnerability.

So yes, damage on screenshot is possible on 3200 armor.

If that is the case and they are going full zerk, it means they are made out of glass. Kill him before he kills you mindset, or use that cool dodge feature

Also this damage output is not possible is sPvP, not even remotely close honestly. (the build you linked to has sharpening stones, food modifiers, and might infusions) . To nerf let alone balance around WvW a specific class makes no sense simply because the stats are wildly off balance to start. sPvP is probably closest way for ANET to actually balance this game because all stats are flat lined (no ascended gear as well)

Leaderboard decay for the Guild Challenger League will be enabled beginning today. Leaderboard decay will help ensure that only active teams remain at the top of the leaderboard. Guild Teams will begin to lose rating if they go longer than seven days without playing a conquest match in Ranked Arena. After seven days have passed the team will begin losing rating at a set interval each day. The rating lost from decay is permanent. If the guild team plays one game of conquest in ranked arena the decay timer will reset.

Demonic Defiance: This trait now has a 5 second internal cooldown.

I don’t think it’s killed the god that was Mallyx, but it might have made Him mortal. Now that you can no longer reliably outlast conditions from the constant Resistance you got with DD, you’re going to have to make the choice of Jalis or leaving a gaping hole that any Mesmer, Necro, Thief(hey, they still do exist!) or Rev that coupled Mallyx with Jalis can now even more easily exploit with boon stripping. Maybe Ventari, but that’ll strip you of nearly all mobility and, unless you drop a trait line for Invocation, any possible stun break as well.

Mallyx/Shiro might still work with some sigils that help with condtion cleansing, but Mallyx/Glint is pretty much DOA for PvP, nothing there to cleanse conditions or help disengage when the resistance becomes scarce.

People keep forgetting that Revenant is an Auto Attack Class, and will now have to make more use of Pain Absorption. One Pain Absorption with Facet of Nature lasts long enough to completely negate all the Conditions on you.

You do not have to play stronghold. No one is forcing you. Just uncheck it.

It’s the hard truth.

Classes/Builds are not balanced to encourage skilled play.

The community constantly gives feedback but most is ignored by the dev team.

Every balance overcompensates nerfs or significantly changes sigils, skills, runes, until they are either way too powerful or way too weak.

To be honest, whoever is leading the balance/pvp push should be fired. I’ve heard a lot about the resource strain over at Anet studios but this doesn’t even make sense. What the hell are they dedicating resources to? They have had years to make this work and they are throwing WvW and PvP down the toilet. WvW is one of the most unique game modes in mmos at moment and had huge potential for revenue. PvP if done right could have had the best action based esports type feel to it.

Good job Anet, you’ve kitten on your own players for 3 years. 3 YEARS. Most of us have given you feedback for years in hopes we would be listened to but it’s starting to get old. I’m sure many of us are on the verge of just giving up.

Honestly blaming just ANET isn’t exactly true. It is also this community. Perfect example would be the community commending the rage quitters.

than keeping the balance as it is now.

many builds are way too strong while others are below average.
with the recent pro league drama and the intention to go "esports", a simple shave will not cut it..

at this point i believe, it would be more healthy for the game to tone everything down, especially defense, instead of trying to shave step by step.

if you take your time now it will be too late and people will not even bother with season 2 anymore. arenanet, if you lose your credibility now people will stop believing in your esports.

this is not a rant and i hope you read the feedback from your balance preview, because the few changes will not be enough to ease the frustration many players currently have.

I agree with a lot of what you said but honestly the issue of class stacking is imo a big reason why gw2 is in a state of dissapointment

The CoR change is a step in the right direction but the primary issue is still the damage, which was not addressed. I can still hit 5 people in WvW for 8k+ every 2 seconds with negligible cost. They need to adjust the damage coefficients to something like (1.25/1.50/1.75) instead of (1.25/1.75/2.25) for the 1st/2nd/3rd cascades respectively. The CDs on hammer need to be adjusted because even with that damage nerf it is effectively a necro well every 2 seconds so increasing hammer CDs to x/8/12/15/20+ for skills 1/2/3/4/5 respectively, would further balance it. Contributing to the hammer’s absurdly high AoE pressure are the herald facets and numerous percent damage increases that can all be ran in a single build example. Yes, the example is a glass cannon but because of the Hardening Persistence trait, Infuse Light, protection uptime, Shiro legend and evades/blocks from this build I can do some stupid things that a glass Ele or Necro wouldn’t dare do.

Glint legend facets also need to be looked into to address the damage. 2 revs running the example can stack permanent 25 might, fury and swiftness. Facet cooldowns and durations allow for revs to keep facet of strength on while dishing out max damage and using facet of nature on CD while in combat keep the other boons active.

HAHHAHAHAH Balancing based on WvW stats? Seriously?
WVW is based on PVE gear which can be from all over the place. When you come up with credible information with proof from sPvP (Video proof) than lets us know. Right now there is no way to balance off that

Whoa whoa dont blame them, there is no counter for them.

Currently only 1-2 teams actually counter this meta out of 16 and dont blame them for anet not doing there jobs.

I don’t care how bad ANET is at balancing, or how lopsided a match is. There are players in pvp right now that would kill for the opportunity to play in this tournament whether they win or lose. Those member(s) of Zero Counterplay that did rage quit are as pathetic as it gets.

I have no respect for players or teams that rage quit; regardless of the circumstances, the sportsmanship goes right out the window.

How can anyone give excuses to rage quitters.

2 condi REVS together is what truly made Mallyx unbeatable. (Mesmer needed a nerf, not surprised there) I agree Mallyx needed balancing, but why overnerf it? A single Revenant 1 on 1 running full condi wasn’t that hard to beat.

But seriously DH? Again escapes a nerf. The only reason Rev and mesmer were considered a priority was because of the QQ of the meta build.

Leaderboard is actually a decent indicator. You can have a win rate under 50% and still be considered “good” with above 70% rank percentile because teams you beat and lose to are actually really good.

I always try getting into premades and occasionally do, but I mostly soloQ.

I would say good rotation indicates skill most of all and situational awareness.

Serious question honestly. What in sPvP indicates skill?

Been called it all as of late, once in a blue moon I’ll see “GF”, but otherwise it’s OP, Cheezy, Meta, noob. Normally I never give it a second thought until today.

Leaderboard?
Just appears to indicate how many games you’ve played. I can grind a thousand games and get on there.

Dragon Rank?
Just grind that as well.

Leagues?
Given the MMR abuse, premades reking pugs (nothing against premades, they are playing the hand they are dealt. I play in one too) I have a hard time even trusting a PIP score now.

Champion titles?
Given the balance issues, sure why not. XD

Tournaments?
Balance issues plague the game. We all know it and we’ve known it for a while. Unless a Meta team vs a Meta team is witnessed.

I suppose good rotation could, but even good rotation doesn’t mean a victory. I for one was super excited to see ANET take action and introduce some exciting sPvP content and partner up with ESL, but I figured after 3 years they’d learn not to go into something kitten.

So I beg the question…. what indicates skill in this game or does it really not matter?

ANET setup of league was terrible, almost to the point of a sick joke. Where a majority of pvp is queue players. If you have a premade team or pvp guild getting to Ruby is actually easy. The fact that people are raging for bad playing or bad rotation doesn’t surprise me in the slightest. Expect a more and more toxic pvp community as time goes on.

The issue right now is that unless you are playing one of these 4, you are hurting your team.

1. Bunker Mesmer: AKA the brain dead spec.
2. Rev: AKA let’s make the class OP so that maybe people buy the expansion
3. Tempest: AKA not as easy mode as the first two is the claim to fame
4: Scrapper: AKA actually takes some skill to play vs the top 3.

I disagree, most of the time if my team loses it is from terrible rotation.

Hey guys,

As you know….my main is my Thief….but I have been forced to abandon it due to balance issues ankitten ow spending all of my time on a Rev.

Something I noticed about 4 games in was that I had only seen 4 classes represented…..so I started keeping track.

For 7 games in a row, all 10 players were either Rev, Chrono, Ele, orDH….

None of the people I ended up playing with were repeated in another game.

So out of 70 players only 4 classes were seen….all the others were gone…..

And even on the 8th game, it was the same, but we had 1 Ranger.

My question to all of you is this…..is everyone just abandoning their other classes for Chrono/Rev/DH?

I mean…nothing against it….its exactly what I did.

But what I mean is….is the balance SO bad that everyone is feeling as forced to do so as I felt?

Actually I abandoned my Ranger for my Rev. I should haven’t to go into detail why, this should already be known given the Ranger treatment over the last year

I’m still stuck on tier 4 of division 2 (emerald). Almost every time I solo queue, I notice that the player(s) that are in sapphire are really bad, just awful, and the players in my division generally know what they are doing. Has anyone else experienced this?

Why would anet choose to give bad players an easier time moving up in the ranks? Literally makes zero sense.

Just because they play bad doesn’t mean they are bad. Those could be their alts, new classes, trying to achieve the (Win 5 games per class) achievement. I can say for a fact. I just played Engi for the first time. And dear god it did not go well.

The game needs more tactical decision making and not pure build excellence

I vote for 1 class for each team.
Also maybe each player must fill in 1 role so no for 2 bunker or 2 condi or full sustain party like
Roamer
Dmg dealer
Bunker
Condi dealer
Sustain
Support
Etc
Or some other variant
Than the game can be more interesting

The first part I agree 100% with, the 2nd part not so much. What you just described in the 2nd part is GW1, and those were 8 person teams; which was great. But GW2 was build around the concept that all classes can do all things to some extent. For that to work Conquest would be all kinds of screwed up.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again; there should be 1 class per team limit at the very least in ranked.

Pros:
• Would help balance out matches placing more balance to a team comp than abusing a meta class.
• Adds a strategic element to teams, to build not around a meta, but the teams weaknesses & strengths

Cons:
• Queue times. Not sure how big of an impact it will have on solo players.

The above would resolve so many balance issues. Yesterday we ran into a 3 DH / 2 Druid premade and my god did they abuse traps. While we did end up winning by killing lord in the last seconds, it still was insane how much they abused the system. A 5 man DH in stronghold is a guarantee victory.

This by no means any disrespect to you Tarcis, but for years meta builds have existed. D/D Ele meta team builds is a perfect example of that. This is the first time any top tier team spoke up. Is it because there is more at stake?

A Message from the PvP Team

Hi all,

We’ve been closely monitoring PvP Leagues since their release this last Tuesday and we’d like to provide an update on where things currently stand. Some of this information is available in other locations, but it’s always good to have everything in one place.

Match Manipulation

There have been reports of players intentionally losing games in an effort to lower their overall matchmaking rating. The idea is that if they lower their rating, their subsequent games will become easier, and they will gain pips more reliably in future win streaks. Regardless of how unlikely this is to actually happen (read on for why), we’re still not cool with players intentionally losing as this is in direct violation of our Code of Conduct.

In the short-term, our customer support team will be investigating reports of this and punishing the behavior accordingly. Please use the “Botting” reporting option to bring these instances to the attention of our team. For a longer-term solution, we’ll be working on improving the in-game reporting system to better handle these types of situations. Chris Clearly has been posting on the topic here.

Queue Times and Division Matchmaking

As Evan Lesh mentioned on reddit matchmaking rating and division standing are both used equally for matchmaking. This is currently affecting both queue times and matchmaking, especially in higher divisions. The season has only been active for three days, so there are fewer players in the higher tiers, meaning less people for matchmaking in those divisions. This will correct itself as the season progresses and players begin spreading through the divisions more evenly. Related to the point above, tanking MMR for the purposes of easier matches isn’t feasible considering division still plays a large part in the matches you get.

Forfeit wins and pip loss

We will be correcting a bug where players can lose pips after a win if someone in their party had disconnected for longer than 2 minutes, causing a forfeit. This fix should be in our next release.

Guild Team MMR Workaround

Today we fixed an issue that allowed high-skilled players to constantly spin up new guild teams and have themselves matched with lower-skilled players because of how personal MMR and team MMR worked together. This gave them faster queue times, faster league progression, and allowed them to climb the Guild Challenger League more quickly than intended for each team created. As mentioned above, we’re aware of the longer queue times for high-rated teams, but this is mostly attributed to how divisions are factored into matchmaking and should be less of an issue as the season progresses. Additionally, we will also be enabling rating decay on the Guild Team Leaderboard after we have enough data to determine the correct values to decay by. This will cause inactive teams to fall down the leaderboard.

Pip/Point behavior is difficult to understand

You gain a variable number of pips depending on the difficulty your match-up (from -3 to +3). The majority of games (even matches) are +1/-1 for winning/losing. The odds of winning a match is based off of division standing between the two teams involved and roster sizes. If you’re heavily disfavored in a match-up (the system predicts that you should lose), you could potentially gain up to 3 points for winning. You also gain partial points as you cross point thresholds, so there’s always a reason to keep trying even if you don’t win. The system also works the other way around. If you’re favored to win, but lose, you’ll lose more pips than you would in an even match.

Now to the crux of the issue – it’s not entirely clear why you’re winning or losing X amount of pips after a match, as the odds are not displayed to the player. We’re looking at making changes to the in-game UI to communicate this more clearly, but this won’t be in for season one.

Viper Revenants are ridiculously overpowered, their DPS is unmatched with powerful sustain and CC. They are clearly just broken with no counterplay.

They do require skill but all you really need are 2-3 viper revenants per team to just stomp anyone.

Why didn’t we get a balance patch?

Counters
- Getting Chain CC’d while in Mallyx stance
- Heavy boon removal combined with high condi pressure.

Revenants have very limited access to heals when they role mallyx / shiro. They can only self-sestain for so long or rotate out of the fight. In other words they are not good in many 1 on 1 situations either so if you catch one alone….destroy them.

The same could be said about most classes. Can you imagine a 5 team DH? I am falling over thinking about it.

I don’t get it. It’s Unranked Skyhammer. Who gives a kitten what your MMR is in Unranked?

That was the 3rd time and only time I screened it. The other two I was in ranked and regrettably didn’t screen those thinking it wasn’t common at the time.

Although I should mention MMR in unranked does affect MMR in ranked. It is another way people are abusing the system. Even if it is unranked the fact people are throwing matches to this extent creates a bad experience for any player new or old.

Yet another L2P. If you can’t kill a rev you need to learn how because you won’t make it far in leagues, ESL, AGG or anywhere else for that matter.

Revenants are very squishy if they role zerk and healing is limited if they go condition. They don’t need a buff or a nerf. They are actually balanced more so than a lot of other classes in this game. The fact this thread even exists is a joke.

If you want to learn to kill a rev I will 1 on 1 and teach you what to look out for. This applies to everyone so feel free to shoot me a whisper in game.

FYI for anyone using “ESL” team comps as an excuse for a nerf needs to wake up. They build their team off each class weakness so they can offset each other

If it’s a skill thing. I assume they are trying a new class or build. If they are making poor rotations and have crappy spacial awareness then I begin judging.

Thank you for posting this. I am in agreement. More often than not it is people trying out a new class. It is rare for me to witness terrible rotation in high tiers. I suspect it will likely become more common as months progress since players are leveling through stronghold now as well.

Unrelenting assault will hit you like a truck, is an evade, teleports you to the player, and is God kitten nearly impossible to get away from. Where the kittening kitten is the counterplay to this kitten?

Surge from the mist will hit you like a truck, knocks you back repeatedly, and is an evade. Do you guys just give out evades now without putting any thought into it? Balance this kittening class so its not broken anymore God kitten it.

There is plenty of counter play to unrelenting assault. I have both witnessed it and fought against it. And to correct you, it doesn’t knock you back.

- Use evade the moment the first hit triggers.
- Throw up block the moment the first hit triggers.
- If a rev is holding a sword keep your eye out on his animation.
- You can also CC them, just keep an eye our for the rev animation
- UA has a range of 450, so keep your distance. While Frigid Blitz &/or Phase Traversal will shadowstep himself to you. Use a knockback.

Unrelenting assault has a 12 second cool downtime to top it off. To achieve maximum damage the rev needs to reach every hit.

Unless you play the class you won’t understand how to defend against it. I’d start there first. Unrelenting Assault is fine.

I actually feel 60 seconds is way to short. 3 Minutes would be a solid number as it would account for rage quitters in addition afk players. Unless it is a close match 3 minutes won’t make or break the win.

The load time on a map can be lengthy depending on server response time and well a user’s own computer specs. Would also account for new builds that occur during pvp matches. Also resolves the off chance of a new build being released during a pvp match in which the person crashes and automatically has to wait on a download.

Really wish a dev would put this issue to rest. It has been brought up numerous times. I already know this is not possible and it is too lengthy to write why.

In layman terms sPvP is instance based. But it would be nice if they could change up the map for a change. It’s only been 3 years! Give us a gladiators pit or something.

That is a p2p concept. The only reason it worked in gw1 was because the max level was 20 and it was easy to get a maxed weapon stat. And at the time the only way to sell items was spam WTS. There was no trading post. This would also destroy TP and the economy.

ANET doesn’t care about 1v1. If they did that would mean they would have to balance the game. The Cop-out is they will balance the game around 5v5 but we know thats not balanced also and never has been.

Very good point and agreed. Imagine a 5 man DH team on stronghold or conquest. Good luck holding / capping point with that.

I know classes aren’t balanced around 1vs1.
But who is the current 1vs1 King of the Hill?
Please separate old classes from new elite specs when ranking.

My ranking:

1) Chronomancer (F5 + chain spam burst, reset by F5, repeat chain spam burst)
2) Druid (the healing sustain is real)
2) Scrapper (the healing sustain is real)
2) Revenant (the healing sustain is real)
5) Dragonhunter
5) Daredevil
7) Reaper
7) Berserker
9) Tempest (never seen one in a 1vs1 fight before…so not sure how they do)
10) The rest of the old classes. They don’t stand a chance against the elite specs.

I really have to disagree with your rankings and this is based on my own 1 v 1 experiences in arena matches. I usually will go out of my way to 1 v 1 someone so I recognize the trigger effect and what to look out for per class.

My experience in 1 on1 place them at this ranking.
1) Reaper
2) Dragonhunter
3) Scrapper
4) Druid (close tie between the scrapper)
5) Chronomancer
6) Revnant
7) Tempest
8) Berzerker
9) Daredevil (close tie to berzerker)

Some old builds are still viable, but yes elites do seem to have the upperhand.

Your rankings almost feel backwards……

1) Chronomancer is not as simple as you make it. It needs to be timed right for chain spam burst to even work, that is under the assumption the chronomancer isn’t cc’d.

1) Druid is highly sustainable; I cannot argue this one, but in order for them to be truly effective they must rely on their pets to output the damage needed. It would be the fight that never ends in a 1 v 1

2) Scrapper? There stealth is more effective than the heals to me. But 3 is a good spot for it.

2) Revenant does not belong this high at all. They have very low condi removal, and the healing is not that great. The reason they appear to heal very well is because people attack them when infused light is triggered. In a 1 v 1 this can be avoided. And for the love of god hit dodge if they use unrelentless. CCing them is a must since they have a lot of evades at their disposal

5) Dragonhunter being below rev is just amusing in of itself. I’d place them at #2. The amount of stuns and cc damage DH can produce is insane. You put in Rune of Trapper and you can apply a trap in stealth, triggering a stun/cc just to reapply it. By the time you get yourself up you could already have a finisher driven through you.

5) I feel for the poor daredevil. Their damage output is insane, but they are as squishy as squishy as can be. So as far as a 1 v 1 goes I’d almost place them last.

7) Reaper being at #7 comes off like a bad joke. It is easily #1.
- They have sustainability with Reaper’s Shroud (unless you can moa them)
- Endless amounts of conditions to apply
- Boon stripping
- So much chill that even Santa goes on vacation on Christmas.
I would much rather face a chronomancer then a reaper.

7) Berzerker doesn’t scare me much at least not anymore. The damage output is immense when they trigger rampapage, but dodging those could result in life or death

8) Tempest is still very tanky and maybe its the way I play now, but their damage output doesn’t seem to harsh. It is getting them to sit still for a second to burst them that can be painful. But the tankiness is why I placed them at 7.

I agree with you the mechanics don’t make much sense. The lanes never criss cross, so player interaction could actually cost you the match. The only reason I enjoy playing it is because I am so tired of conquest and the same maps over and over and over. I am more shocked that people keep hating on maps whether it be skyhammer or courtyard as there is already a very LIMITed supply of pvp maps as is.

ANET keeps taking away maps instead of adding new ones. Courtyard did not need to be taken out, it just needed its own queue.

Why Rune of the Reaper is trash

It is interesting to see this post, and actually not see the rune stats posted. So I will help

(1): +25 Power
(2): +35 Toughness
(3): +50 Power
(4): +65 Toughness
(5): +100 Power
(6): When executing a shout skill, chill nearby enemies for 1 second (360 radius).

& the shouts that it applies (https://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Shout). 5 classes can benefit from this rune

In comparison to other classes this rune is very powerful. There are no changes needed. If anything, it is much better than most profession runes.

  1. It applies to all shouts with no cool down time. If you are running with just shouts alone. 1-4 seconds of chill.
  2. Add-in condition duration, you are able to increase the duration of chill by 50% (pve) or 40% (pvp)
    - Cold Shoulder 20% ,
    - Sigil of Chill 20%,
    - Sigil of Malace 10% (PVE/WvW only)

But wait there is more:

  • Bitter Chill - Chilling a foe inflicts vulnerability.
  • Chilling Nova – Critical hits against chilled foes causes an explosion that chills adjacent foes.
  • Chilling Victory – Striking a chilled foe grants might and life force.
  • Deathly Chill – Chill deals damage over time. [/url]

You really need to look at the reaper skill set, any changes to this rune would be a nerf to the reaper.

add in any of the new expertise amulets…..
