I love the game. I don’t love the people who come in with "let me win for the daily" attitude. Why don’t you just try to win like everyone else? Like seven other people are supposed to just sit there and GIVE it to you?

That guy spent the next match targetting me the whole time for saying "Uh, no." Darn, I only managed 3rd that time around. Was still fun. There’s something about watching the karka roll that’s very entertaining, winning and losing.

Edit: By the way, I thought WvW matchup threads were, um, interesting. But then I’m seeing the posts about Crab Toss. My gods, I love you people SO. MUCH. compared to those folk with a case of crabs.

I’m still trying to get Crabtacular after playing 4 hours. I like playing the game to win, every single time, while trying to do what I can to try to get the achievement. The achievement will happen, or it won’t.

I see far too many people complaining about it on the forum. It’s different, that’s nice and it’s fun if you go in just trying to hold the crab for points. Are people just getting frustrated because of the achievement and looking to get it out of their system? It is what it is.

They’re achievements! You already got one just for participating.

Two days ago I actually downed the mesmer who Moa’d my necro AS A MOA and would have got him if I didn’t have another teammate of his to stomp me after he downed me.

I’m still not quite sure how I managed that. But it was like the mesmer freaked when I started pecking him after running at him instead of away. ^^

I’m in Carrion gear with Krait/Afflicted using Pizza to get over 75% bleed duration. Acro traits are highly flexible and should be picked by what works best for you.

Do you need to wait until an item is fully upgraded before you slap the skin onto it? I want to put the flower onto my fractal back, which still has an upgrade to get funded. I don’t want to change the look only to have it revert when I toss it in the Mystic Forge. Anyone know?

I was just going to wait until it was all said and done to be safe.

I strongly disagree with your reasoning concerning PvP. There is a constant learning curve and endless adapting.

Anyway, I don’t think of Crab Toss as PvP. It’s more of a fun distraction. Achievements are earned, some harder than others. They shouldn’t just be given to everyone, or they wouldn’t be achievements.

Just do what you can and enjoy what you do. It’s not like you’re competing against or trying to impress anyone, right? Happy fun times, all that. Really, why play a game if it’s just going to make you get your stress on.

I haven’t finished upgrading my ... uh, Fractal backpiece thingie yet. Does anyone know if I’ll lose the skin if I try putting the flower look onto the Fractal item and then try the last Mystic Forge upgrade later?

I’m surprised everyone didn’t leave WvW for Southsun. When else are you going to be able to say you fought off a bad case of crabs without meaning something horrific?

That was a fun dance with the yak west side of FA BL. Go in, ’trops/stealth, guardians boon the yak. Giggle at thief. Go in. Trops. Boons. Giggle. Repeat.

I’m sure it’s just someone trying to get you to ride the Troll Trolly. It’s been hard to gas that thing up this week for lack of donations.

To me, WvW is what you do when you don’t have anything else to do. The fighting against people in this game is amazing, the best I’ve seen since Subspace (Warbirds’ agility ftw!).

Once you hit 80 and get yourself in exotics/ascended all that’s left that’s fresh is achievements and enjoying the game/system in WvW. Or rolling with an alt...

Incidentally, my necro discovered the joys of Wells in tight quarters combat at Pangloss last night and is just about tweaked out. I got all Dungeon Master up. So, back to more WvW or working on my not so little baby norn mesmer. Who got called a smurf.
