I’m starting to feel like the TC people want it more this week. And that was before I kept running into Kaineng people everywhere before realizing I was in Kaineng BL.

I did not get enough sleep…

If this flies, it sounds like stealth use will be for attacking or retreating; no more hanging around slow-plinking the slow-thinking?

I got the orb once and dodge rolled all the way to a side point. I was traited for vigor on heal, had withdraw, and had energy sigils on wep swap (bacon wings!). I tried a Heartseeker, but with the move speed slowdown, the leap lerped, so roll on roll on.

Then again, I did the same thing this weekend, but the enemy team blew out my team at the point I thought we had so that didn’t go very well for me at all.

Live and learn. Get knocked out, learn faster.

To the TC Thief that took… the east campy place in TC BL… after I cleared the guards, I swear I thought you were Kaineng so I bailed. I was having a lag problem too. But mostly oops.

Just have fun with what they have, and hope they’ll add to it in the future. Yep.

I would personally be more inclined to use Signet of Malice if it didn’t have the long cast time. You have to pick the heal that works best for you of course, between the cast time, extra effects, amount of the heal, healing power, cooldown, and your build.

I don’t think you should drag in other classes’ healing options. That’s why they’re not a Thief, but class X.

But yeah, that activation time on Malice Siggy, makes me feel all Malicey towards using it.

Remember, the trait line ‘trops drop where you begin your dodge roll. IF you’re trying to use them offensively, you just about have to be on top of your target. It’s that or evade away from the threat to put the field between you and it. Otherwise, it’s just a bonus that you value more than the other options in the first Major Slot that sort of helps now and then.

I’m doing the evade/caltrops/leaping death blossom thing in hotjoins, and I can’t get a picture out of my head. There’s no thief strong enough to pull this off. The amount of metal you must be carrying to drop all those caltrops would render you immobile, crushed to death beneath the caltrops pile. Your enemies would be laughing thinking that yes, technically, you evaded the attacks, somehow.

Chest thumping hurts. And there’s some turret thingie that gets thumpy on everybody. It hurts too. Am I supposed to be thumping other people’s chests or looting them? I’m confused again.

I haven’t played another class for real, but I do not believe having an auto-attack that features a leap away is a good idea. You thought Heartseeker and Leaping Death Blossom had its “gravity is a harsh mistress” moments?

Body Shot needs a certain I don’t know what. The only time I use it is when I’m with a party and we’re working something down with focus fire. Actually, that’s a decent time to use it.

I think it would be counterproductive to have anything combine Dazed and Confused. One does damage when you use a skill, and the other doesn’t let you use a skill.

I’m not sure if this is a serious post or not, by the original poster or myself.

Rule #1 – Do not get hit by the big stuff as a DPS thief.
Rule #2 – Demonstrate mastery of rule #1 by dodging and not being in the wrong place at all times.

I think that’s more that the Sylvari hold those who have had more experiences in higher regard. The Pale Tree came first, then the Firstborn, and on it goes. We came from her, so what better word than “mother”?

Try to keep in mind that the Sylvari are a very new race. Biologically they’re not exactly identical to humans. You ever notice they don’t have bellybuttons? I read somewhere else on the web that they don’t have nipples either. That’s because there is no physical reason for those to be present.

Sylvari are not human, but we as players are. We tend to try to relate everything to our own views and experiences. I’m not surprised the inbreeding question came up. Just look at ads and entertainment and think about how often sex pops up in our lives. I know a sylvari would embarrass someone with endless questions about the recent round of Super Bowl ads.

2/10, sorry, but that’s horrible. It’s delightful in a way and I’m happy about it, but horribly so. Actually, if I look at your Mesmer as just Ivee and treat “Poison” as a nickname it’s more 6/10.

As P/D condition/stealth, the vulnerable looking ones. It’s not hard to dodge in and keep stealth on in a pack. I try to finish off the downed or put down people who are really hurt or backing off.
