There was someone on a mortar near the red keep in EB and that KN guy never missed me, 6 shots in a row, with me romping around a hilly area nearby. Spooky good aim. I want his eyes. In the good way. Not the bad way.

My lil necrodemic asura looks like she’s putting EVERYTHING she’s got behind swinging that scepter, and she’s not even actually physically hitting! It’s inspiring and terrifying at the same time. Sorta like how’d it be like if a chihuahua grinned at you while pulling out a machete.

It’s not world shattering upgrades though. They are upgrades, yes, but they’re more of a convenience than a necessity.

And or but, whichever you prefer, it does give you another reason to keep grinding away, if you needed a carrot. I kinda miss my Carrot on a Stick from WoW suddenly.

I swear I’ve tried to make pretty shapes with the caltrops spread, but it’s SO hard when I’m rolling and trying not to die. All I can manage is the round shape that comes with throwing the suckers straight up and hoping for the best.

I’m curious as to why you wouldn’t want an on-kill stacker. I’m big on Sigil of Corruption, either put that on the SB and switch to it before kills for the Condition Damage stack (+250!) or have that on your main off hand if you don’t like swapping so much.

I think I have Force on my SB, +5% direct damage goes well with the bouncy shot and cluster bomb blasts.

I’m P/D condition running 0-0-30-20-20 w/ Uncatchable, Bountiful Theft, and Power of Inertia. My dodges give me might and the mini-trops and I get vigor on steal for more dodges on top of Feline Grace.

Keep in mind that the free caltrops are dropped where you start the dodge. So if you want to drop them offensively on someone you have to be up close on them. Against dolyaks and guards you can use them for extra bleeds, but against people they’re way more useful for the cripple; not that an extra bleed stack or two is bad. Defensively, it’s just something else they need to go around to get to you if you’re trying to open up distance.

Flanking Strikes only helps direct damage and will not affect your bleeds. If you try Instinctual Response you’re going to have to remember not to spam Leaping Death Blossom or you’ll just end up stuck in Revealed. If you’re going 30 Trickery and using Withdraw as your heal, I’d consider Hastened Replenishment over Thrill of the Crime or Uncatchable for the initiative.

Try tweaking things as you go until you hit that magic combo that fits your playstyle.

It was my own golem blueprints, whew. I did check to make sure all the catapults and carts were built before going back to make the golem at the supply camp.

I wish I could say I went down laughing, but it was more of a "ha ha.. ha.. sigh.. oh wait, I can waypoint.. oh.. too late.. sigh.. ha ha ha BAKA!" down laughing. Next time I’ll attempt to reorder that to "waypoint.. ha ha.. baka.."

I’m a SEALvari. Sea, Airhead, and Land. Rawr. I shoot down dolyaks and blow up weather nodes. Or was it shoot up weather nodes and blow down dolyaks. Maybe it was shoot up while blowing... nevermind!

I’m P/D, and I ran into this thief running S/D while I was with 2 servermates in WvW, he kept three of us busy with all the stealth and misdirection. I was impressed by the set and his skill. We couldn’t drop him, but then again, he couldn’t drop us either and we did manage to push him off the sentry point.

Not that the sentry point helps all that much with winning WvW, but it was a very fun and interesting experience.

I play P/D in a way that it isn’t as much about attrition as it is about not getting bloody killed or poisony killed or bursty killed... I wanna live!

It’s just another thing you have to consider when playing with stealth. Like learning "Throw Gunk" will pop you out of stealth while caltrops will not.

I saw a lot of FA during my stint in TC BL last night. It was warm n’ fuzzy time. Ok, burny poisony bleedy time, but I was on my necro and I reeeally suck at that. But it was good to see them out strong. ^^

I think I got all spoiled stupid by all the stealth/condition removal I have on my thief. My necro is everything my thief isn’t, and I haven’t gotten my head around it yet. Even with you guys helping by wrapping my head around stuff for me.

I’m not sure your idea of greatness is great. I wouldn’t want to be master over my brother. Or sister. Or even that cute little ferny hound. But totally don’t think it’s such a great thing.

The whole master thing just leads to hassles when people don’t agree. Go where life goes, but don’t drag other people’s lives with you. If they want to follow, they will. If not, then keep going while they go their way.
