I’m not sure this is a jumping puzzle. It was more of a falling puzzle for me. A jumpy, falling, pistony spring, spinny gear, fiery and steam puzzle. Not the usual JP.

I was a leaf on the ground. Often.

I’ve run it about a dozen times and only twice did I not have at least 2 ppl who hadn’t done it before. That makes things just a tad rough, but I’ve only had a team not finish once out of those. That was all 4 partners being new, and the 3 replacements for bailers all new also.

I had one run where a 77 was doing better than the 80s, sad to say, since I was still involved. That run was a tad painful.

It’s a fun dungeon and it is challenging. For the most part, the wipes teach you and then it gets better. A little communication works wonders, and stopping to explain the fights actually takes a lot less time than trying, wiping, and getting frustrated.

Live and learn, die and learn FASTER.

We should be happy. They made us a new falling puzzle that’s SO. MUCH. FUN. Even more fun than the joy of the EB campy one. I got to meet SO many people falling. Fell. Fallen. Funkytown.

I completely forgot about WvW for a night, after finding queues all around.

Since the new match-up system, with the exception of one week, TC has been paired with lesser competition that just can’t put up a fight, and it is killing many people’s motivation to play.

My P/D thoughts (WvW):
It’s more of a survival build that’s extremely lacking in burst.
Kills take time and if the target starts running it’s inconvenient.
You shouldn’t die unless you take up your risk trying for a kill.
I miss having an interrupt skill.
Rolltrops can yakslap unless escorts push, pull, and turn the road into AoE hell.
Zergsurfing can be fun, but crossing the no-man’s land to reach ’em will suck.
In chaotic zerg wrecks, you are a stomp machine.

Full carrion gives you bleed damage and a lot of HP to survive. Toss in 3 Krait/Afflicted runes with Super Veggie Pizza and an Agony sigil to get to 75% condition duration.

I’m 0-0-30-20-20. SA traits to get 2 init, clear a condition on stealth and every 3 seconds in stealth, with regen in stealth. Acro traits can be customized to taste, I run Power of Inertia and Assassin’s Reward. Trickery is Uncatchable (Rolltrops!) and Bountiful Theft for vigor and opportunistic boon steal.

Hide in Shadows, Shadowstep, Shadow Refuge, Signet of Shadows, Daggerstorm/Thieves Guild.

This is really cookie cutter, but there’s some stuff you can tweak, as you get experience, to make it work best for you. Oh, shortbow is the 2nd set wep. People will love your point blank spammable blast finisher with undetonated Cluster Bomb.

It’s like when my parents used to scream at each other, but still ending with "sweetheart" and "dear". Okay, more like "SWEEEETHEART" and "DEEEAR"!

Think of the kittens.

I did an evasion build for sPvP. I never had a problem using Withdraw and RoInit. You just get the hang of the fast turn and roll. Just practice in the Mists until you feel good with it.

You can cover a lot of ground fast with that Orb if ya try.

And Chris is right, matchup system fail. Why in their minds they figured jumping servers up and down was going to be exciting is past me. I was all green up/red down, but nah, too simple.

I use the offhand warhorn with Banshee’s Wail (instead of Hemo) and Spectral Mastery (for Spectral Walk). It’s giving me good results in PvP/WvW with the mobility.

I need to get better at using the horn daze to interrupt heals, but 3 seconds on daze instead of 4 seems like enough for me. I primary use the daze on top of fears and golem charge as a long CC to bleed someone out. I’m using Corruption and Earth Sigils.

We’re always helpful. If it seems we’re not, we’re only waiting for the right time to strike. Thief, ya know.

It might make them too good to be true. Don’t think of it as a dodge. They’re more of a CC breaker with a dodge component added.

But yeah, it’s kinda weird that Roll for Initiative, while giving you what it says on the tin, doesn’t roll you forward instead of backwards. Seize the retreating day!
