For the record, I used it on my female, human necro. I tried to change it to the style with gothy make up and lizard eyes.

I just used a total make-over kit. It saved the body I picked, but it did not save the face I picked with it. (It disappeared after I confirmed the changes) What’s going on here?

In the GW1, guilds were full of drama and vampiric politics that caused guilds to dissolve for petty reasons. In truth, it was quite ugly. While that still remains to some extent, there is no reason to constantly jump ship.

Soul-binding helps keep the market stable.

If you take the soul-binding off, all the armor and equipment will drop to near worthless.

You want them to change the system to accomidate you? Yeah no. Trying to get those dyes adds a non-advantage carrot to chase that’s good for the economy. And I’m not saying this because the first dye I got after lauch was Abyss.

I wouldn’t mind if they made equipment that boosts Boons, but I don’t think it should replace healing entirely.

Are there people over the age of 12 who really care about your MMORPG toons?

They already have guild backpacks that function like armor. I’m expecting it to be armor and work like the throw-back skins in the Gem Shop / HoM rewards.

There really isn’t a way to make a game ‘bot-proof’ that doesn’t infringe on real players. If you see something that looks like bots or a mob of bots, just report them. It’s up to us to make botting non-profitable.

MoP doesn’t feel right after everything else that occured thus far in stories and expansions. There are plenty of explanations on why it failed.

The Orr regions aren’t intended to ran through. Take a couple of zombies at a time and move forward.

As for the armor preview, how would that work with a user with Trans’ed armor?

They would have to make more skills to support it’s usage on land. Probably more work than they want to bother with.

I’m really surprised that GW2 doesn’t have other voices. It’s pretty standard, even in older, less advanced MMOs. There are some sounds toons make that makes me want to punch babies. On the flip-side, there will always be someone playing a toon with annoying voices just for the sake of griefing.

In Gw1, there were incentives for collecting them. But if there isn’t going to be perks for collecting them, I really don’t see the appeal.

I would like that too. Quite a few utilities are more useful than our ‘elites’. If programming it is possible, would it really unbalance the game?

Only reason I stopped playing my engy was I had a nade build and your hand will start hurting after a while because you have to keep spamming the 1 button just to attack

I really don’t know as I never played any type of PVP, but from what I heard, a lot of people are using choke points and aoe to nuke others. If that’s true, wouldn’t it make more sense to change the map to remove the advantage?

Potions and Food make leveling to 80 easy. (One ‘wrench’ and one food item at a time. Both are cheap and easy to aquire.) That adds up to +20 exp from kills. And then if you have an EXP booster from the cash shop, you’re on fire.

Ok, I gotcha, PowerCat. This really seems like a big problem then.

If UnID’ed dye drop in price, that’s better for everyone. It’s not like you can’t dispose of 4 of them you don’t want in the Mystic Forge for another go. I got Pitch for my thief this way.

I would only agree if it would result in making the creatures at a lower lvl than you non-hostile (and attacking them would result in the level scale being re-enabled.) But that might make some Vistas and POIs too easy.

I disagree. They should not have gotten a refund. They paid for the services, exploited those services, and were banned per the ToS. If they were smart enough to print ectos by the hundreds/thousands, they would be smart enough to know it shouldn’t be happening and stop.

This also happened over the holidays when i am sure a lot of their staff were not around to fix this issue.

It’s not that easy.
First, ToS are just plainly illegal in many states. Any signed ToS or EULA is completely void, for example, in Italy.
Second, any arbitrary difinitive service interruption would ask for a refund in many states.
Third, the service interruption (ban) was not based on clearly stated rules so, even in states where the ToS is completely legal it can still be appealed in court.
Basically, Anet would risk a lawsuit and a lot of bad advertising from it. It’s way safer and cheaper for them to just refund the banned players.

Regular dances are fine, but anything based off of that ‘internet sensation’ should be shotgun’ed three times, lit on fire, rubbed in salt and launched into the sun.

I know that most users are not fond of the warhorn and torches, but I still would like some festive skins for these weapons. I’m kind of surprised the team didn’t make a festive candle for the torch or an over-sized Kazoo for the warhorns this event.

Only a bit, but they are intended to be bought from the gem shop, so giving away too many freebies would take away from profits.

Yeah, occasionally the sound effects spaz. It’s very common for pets, minions and other summons to carry the spazzy noises until they either die or are stashed away.

Get someone to spread the word on how to do it on other sites. The pressure will force the team to fix it.

Yeah, it’s a messed up tactic to bring in new people while giving the finger to those who supported them from the beginning. Unfortunetely, it’ll keep happening until it stops working. Phone and cable companies do it all the time.
