It’s the consequence of having silver doubloons drop at a rate that is barely adequate to supply those who want a Juggernaut. There is no really good way to farm them and the zones where they drop aren’t played in that much. The price is that high because the market can bear it, but I doubt the devs foresaw the drop rate being so low.
Why not give the choice to our toons? I mean, now that the twig boy is out of the picture and we can have our stories back.
Not really. Just add it after the defeat of Zhaitain. Hell, it might encourage users to even touch the fight.
I guess it would be hard to implement. Imagine if you were able to join the Separatists, Flame Legion, Inquest, Sons of Svanir, Nightmare Court at character selection. Your story mode would have to be completely different.
Honestly, I fail to understand why skins are even class limited. Just keep the max stats in place for the specific class. It’s pretty easy to understand what class is which. Both in Parties and PVP your class is shown for all to see. In WvW, your name is hidden and only team members can see you, your armor and name, right?
Log out and relog in and don’t change maps. One day won’t kill you.

Honestly, it’s only 5 charges per toon. (One for each city) That being said, there isn’t enough to customize each toon completely. Depending on the toon and the user’s play style, up to 8 more charges may be needed to have complete customization. With the Wardrobe, I can see a lot of them being sunk in the first week, as people are toying with looks and ‘children’ trying to one-up each other. It is possible, I suppose for users to farm them, as I have been doing it one at a time with my pre-existing 11 toons. However, I gotta, say it’s pretty grind-y and exhausting. I’m not half way through. Pre-existing users at this point probably would have to buy another character slot as well if they want to do this. Assuming the users are attached to their existing lv80 toons.
I’m not actually sure the will give you one charge for exploring the capitol cities since they make money level 80 from transmutation in the gem store. They might remove the easy guaranteed way to get them so people can’t farm it but I haven’t heard anything about it so I don’t know.
You only get one charge? I figure in the case of the ones already in your inventory will work like the cyphers and those nightmare chest keys that drop in Maguuma maps.
That’s why they keep most of the choice loot (such as skins and tickets) found in them to be soul-bound and exclusive these days. It doesn’t give users that choice.
Sooooooooooo, this means that the makers of this game are enablers to RNG addiction, lining their pockets while we really are getting little or nothing at all?

Personally? I wish they dropped more often. I do buy them from time to time – usually in large sets, then go to town on the stack of BL chests our guild has. I’ve gotten rare minis, dyes, and scraps galore, so I don’t mind too much. I figure, if someone doesn’t like it, they won’t buy it. Nobody’s holding a shotgun to their head and forcing them to buy, and it isn’t like anything in the chests are a game changer.
I figure they’ll be changed into charges, but it never hurts to be on the ball. If they can make consumables for luck, I can see them doing the same with this.
It might be an issue with your computer. The TP uses a different server than the game engine. My older laptop needed me to Okay the connection before I was able to use it.
So, you want them to try idiot-proof this? It’s not a glitch and is working as intended.
Maybe it’s because I have had access to HOM from the beginning and know how transmutation works, but I have never had an idea to transmute an item on a toon that it wasn’t intended for. Buy a splitter and learn from your mistakes.
T/ESO is already irrelevant. Unless they can pull something epic out of their kitten last minute or go ftp. But even that being mentioned, who’s to say users cannot do both? Plus, users can use the break. They don’t have to worry about completing meta achievements in a short time.
While not all mentally ill/‘unstable’ are not violent, Scarlet was. She was plotting horrible things at innocent sentinels’ expense. If you cannot find humor in it, the murders and horror will undo you.
Meh. Leveling is way easier than in WoW, but it’s still not as easy as you make it out to be for everyone else. Some people just don’t have the play time to re-level, or don’t want to have to worry about map completion again. Sure, right now the only option is to re-level, but people would still like to see race change. There are ways it could be done and still work.

Botting requires a 3rd party program to do things on your behalf while you are away. Leaving the computer running with GW2 open isn’t botting, even though it gives other users hell in this case. It’s leeching, not botting.
An old computer and a poor internet connection are likely to blame. I’ve never had any issues with the game itself since I upgraded my laptop, and I use wireless.
I think the real problem is that your husband lacks creativity. I am one of the few who has a male Mesmer, and I have never been told that my character is “girly”. Why, you may ask?
Chainsaws.
Look at my character, with the armor and weapons he’s wielding. Seems girly, right?
Chainsaws will always make characters look manlier, and that’s a fact.
You want to know something else? As a Mesmer I can summon three more characters with chainsaws, so my character uses eight chainsaws. Can you think of something manlier that a guy with 8 chainsaws? No?
THAT’S BECAUSE THERE ISN’T ANYTHING.
No amount of glitter, butterflies, or pink can hold up to the manliness of 8 chainsaws.
When I wvwvw, there are a lot of players who will either run away me or jump off cliffs to their imminent demise because their mind cannot comprehend the manly manliness that is 8 chainsaws.
So you should tell your husband to ditch that character and make a manly Mesmer. With Chainsaws.

Before I upgraded my laptop, I remember having similar issues with my Sylvaris, though it was usually on the log in screens. This thing I’m using can handle almost anything gw2 can throw at me. Only exception is LA on a very busy day.
I try to rez as much as I can but most don’t. Most just yell at dead people to revive at waypoint. But waypoint costs money, so people don’t want to. Can you add a free waypoint? Actually why not just add one free waypoint in the middle of the map (LA). Then people will stop using WvW and PvP to get a free travel to LA.
If the event wasn’t on a timer, people wouldn’t care and would likely rez those who flat-out died. We have 15 minutes to take out all three. Constantly rezing takes out a significant amount of DPS time and puts the rezzer at risk, which is why I don’t touch the dead, only the downed.
So excited with the Kas & Jory story. I’ve had that last scene of them as my desktop background for a while now, ever since I screencapped it on my first play through on Dev servers. swoon
And that battle is awesome!
