Everything was always so very “Cherry” with her. It was annoying. While I didn’t want her to die, I’d rather have the option to threaten to hit her “Where ever she keeps hers” :P
I find it so weird that Sieran gets hate, when Forgal was just.. blah, like every other Norn. Treated me like a kid, no matter how many fires I pulled his frozen northern behind out of.
And yet, that one time that Risen said “You should have died with Forgal.” …You can bet I turned right around and whupped its kitten. Forgal might have been boring, but at least he had a proper Norn end.
Unlike Treesus, whose purpose is done. Zhaitan’s gone, now plantboy can go.
I approve of any and all oldskool weapon skins being reused in GW2.
That wouldn’t make the gw2 reinvention of the area practical. The third dimension and the ability to jump make travel easier. Navigating the area in GW1 without a functioning jump was tedious and frustrating. This is one of those things that you need to play the first to truly appreciate.
I don’t agree with increasing the drop rate. Arenanet could potentially slit their own throats with that. A permanent addition is a different matter.
Glint was a different type before she was corrupted and then freed by the Forgotten. Though, it would beg the question on how he remained unchanged despite coming from one of her eggs.
Kalavier is correct. There is no connection in lore between Shiny and Glint – Glint’s child that appeared in EOTN is a completely different dragon.
Shiny, I suspect, was put in simply as a light Eragon reference not intended to be linked to Tyria’s greater mysteries at all, although it might still have a part to play if we ever go to Elona simply for the uniqueness factor of being a Canthan dragon in Elona.
I have a sneaking suspicion we need Rurik himself to fix this, and the sword was fully aware of that, opening a portal to the underworld because it is trying to return to its rightful owner. So within the next few weeks we will travel there ourselves to get Rytlock back, only to meet Rurik, who will probably mention the PC’s similarities to the GW1 PC, and help us. Of course this also means we have to probably make a deal with Grenth to get this done, and there’s no telling what he’ll want in exchange.
What would be better than to have all of the Ascalonian souls that have eluded him for a few lifetimes?
“Shiny” is Glint’s only known off-spring. The devs said he would make an appearance in the game but has yet to be seen (old interview info predating beta). I doubt the Zepherites have a direct involvement with him.

Note, too, that GW2 had heroes/henchmen.
im pretty sure you mean gw1, and i would love to get those for gw2, or the ability to use my alts as henchmen in story / dungeon instances.
GW2 used to have them before beta but were removed by the programming visionaries
While it won’t fix anything long term, you can try guesting to another server that is known to work. Ask around
All I did was camp the healer respawns and avoided the flame balls. I let the NPCs deal with the rest of the ghosts.
Sorry for your loss, but doesn’t this belong in the community forum?
Arenanet’s boss, NCSoft wants a “Universal” theme. That’s why we lost a whole lot of content, Cantha included. Koreans think that to have Chinese themes in a false world next to thiers is ‘racist’. I’m tired of the race card being played whenever people don’t like something. It’s getting really old.
can we atleast start having backpacks that make sense?
Like Anton having his crossed back up blades on his back?
Are you looking under the correct tabs? The game categorizes certain hues into different shades. Hell, some orange colors are thrown into the yellow tab.
Only an idiot would accept bitcoin. Our in game gold is more stable.

Bolthar, it isn’t intentional. The system is cross-referencing the wrong item. The system lists the item either by the price or by alphabetical reference. It does not list it by your inventory. Only thing you can do is to compact your inventory and reopen the MP.
Must be an issue with your computer. I don’t see them.
To boost sales. That way when they temporarily bring them back, more people will jump on them.
Yes bring these and bunny ears back.
Why were these even removed in the first place when all the other glasses remained?
You can toggle the gloves and face parts of the outfits by ‘hiding’ the equipment before equipping the outfit. I don’t own the shadow outfit, though, so I don’t know if it follows the same programming protocols.
They are uber rare chest items. Go figure that something with such a purpose that cheats the gem prices cost SOOO much.
I could just buy the other dyes for less on the MP. If it had exclusives, I would buy it in a heartbeat.
The game removed healing classes and the trinity. Why would they?
Did you enable it to auto attack? Are you using the Superior Rune of the Grove?
Did you already kill it once before today? The bonus chests are only granted once a day and it resets with the Daily Achievements timer.
Try repairing the client first using the Command line arguments first. Then try compatibility mode if you are using Windows 8. Also, try logging into a toon in a different map before logging into those toons. If nothing else, you can ask a mod to move your toon for you.
Rose is right. Specialty bags are immune to the Compact feature. To do it any other way would take away from their purpose.
In the sylvari back story, they are able to modifying their bodies at will. If they didn’t like something growing on them they could just remove it. I figured that the armor was an extension of the sylvari’s body which justified the colors. But yes, I can understand why one would want to change that.
I don’t give a kitten about item prestige and item re-release as long as the effort is more or less the same as the original.
I’m wondering more on how it would translate over and how much different would it need to warrant it’s existence. How would it differ from our costume brawl?
Considering cats are asocial hunters, that comparison makes perfect sense. The zerg is a mindless swarm of skill spamming. No sense of strategy, what-so-ever. So many cannot even bother to read a three sentence explanation that will save them and others a great deal of grief.
Its not a pug friendly encounter, need 6 commanders and kill all boss’s same time and you will get gold event every 5min,so this event encouraged people to work together if they want gold/silver.
Gold and silver are fine.
Bronze is not fine. Or, should we say, what happens when event goes to bronze in 95% of cases.
Someone mentioned….herding cats…
It’s still possible other users are doing more damage than you and squeezed you out of the picture.
They are there. The TP is wonky with the information update.
I wear things I like. Status be kitten ed! Do this and your life will be longer.
This isn’t new to GW2 or any game with RNG or RIG. Tell them no and stop buying those dam things.
The amount of people on and the ridiculous amount of particles can mess up even a well oiled machine. I’m having some issues as well. I docked the graphics settings to low and it gave a temporary fix. Though, I don’t know why it sends me flying farther under higher graphic settings than while using lower ones. I’m not pressing the keys that much more different. Do note that with the lighting pull parts of the race, there is wind you have to avoid.
There isn’t much you can do about kitten y AI on the player’s end. You can activate their skills while targeting to give them a kick in the pants, but it gets tiresome doing it every time you attack.
Can’t buy them if there is no way to get that currency.
Why? Everything you can buy with them, can be bartered for wit hthe new festival tokens…
To be fair, a lot of us kept them.
I’d have hoped there would be some kind of mini dump for them like there was for Blade Shards. Not only that, but all old Living Story junk some of us kept including (but not limited to) Scarlet’s ciphers, power cores and power core fragments.
i have 332 fortune scraps and one golden fortune scrap, can i use them somewhere?
Black Lion weapon guys take those.
Not any more.
Yes, they do.
edit: from a couple of minutes ago
Totally not the question asked.
yes, You can use them, go to the black lion weapon trader, but You need to have your fortune scraps in your inventory to triger npc text line for older rewards.
That’s totally why they are having us nuke each other with fireballs in the new arena… Lulz.
Like the Kodan, aren’t the Zeph. a peaceful society averse to the mindless carnage the other races enjoy?
It’s a known issue. Just wait until they get around to it.
You’ve only got 35 from that node? You lucky, son of a… I’ve been mining that since the change and got well over 75. Just give me my sprockets, kitten!
Since the fall of LA, I’ve mined my home sprocket every day and now have ~35 blade shards. You need close to 1k for the ascended backpiece, right? For people who aren’t already loaded up, that’s scarce.
Look again. That vendor has not catcher back armor.
…you are aware that you can buy these for tokens directly? The vendor is in Labyrinthine Cliffs, just in front of the ground floor waypoint.
Were? They still are. Arenanet shoved them in with the sprocket node.
I don’t even see why it took this long to get the vendor out.
I always thought that it took this long because it was an intricate process of balancing the rewards. Blade Shards were common, so obviously no precurors etc, but at the same time, they were only common as an event item and now drops pretty infrequently, so the rewards had to be something worthwhile. A difficult balance and a very unique situation.
Then all they came up with was a bag which gave you a green? What the heck are they thinking? It’s like Anet is actively trying to drive the game into the ground.
Yeah, when I saw that, I decided to keep them. Not risking it.
I kept the fortune scraps from last year. Will these make a come-back or should I just delete them?
The wiki states this. Probably not a glitch. I mean, they gotta keep a power check somehow being able to have 6 minion body guards at any given time.
It’s pretty common occurrence with mesmers. Were you using a staff by any chance? Sometimes the teleport on Phase retreat results in some funny stuff.
The biggest issue with the TP is that it organizes either by price or by alphabetically. Not by the actual order in your inventory. I’m thinking it’s cross-referencing incorrectly due to this. In the mean time, close the TP and condense your inventory when you run into this error.
That screenshot isn’t very helpful in proving your case. We cannot see any stats on it. Take another one with you mousing over your equipment. That way the stats can back up your claim.
For the most part, it’s true, but the sidekick can only limit your stats so much. The difference in regular gameplay is noticeable.
I would say it’s closer to the 100-150% also for most people. The cost of getting it to 300% is very high and out of reach for many to do it quickly. If you salvage everything then the loss of the greens and blues to sell adds up. Most people don’t have the ectos to waste salvaging them either. It’s more the hard core salvagers that have 300%. And truthfully, it’s hard to see any increase in drops with the increase in MF, which means it doesn’t really feel important to increase MF.
Just a question about salvaging and ectos. Unless you are talking about salvaging ectos themselves, I don’t see how etco has anything to do with salvaging. I’m just confused by the wording.
However I do agree. Having 300% MF is more of an endgame goal than anything. Much like Ascended armor. Not really usefull unless you are running higher level fractals. Otherwise you can still do quite well with exotic.
