Stacking is droll and mindless after a while, but it definitely is an issue with the users too. Every time there is a special mechanic they’re (arenanet) using, users are definitely ‘special’ when it comes to them. I mean, they can’t even bother reading the boss’ descriptions for clear hints on defeating them. They run in like lemmings and ruin it for everyone.
You cannot have more than one unique. That is how the system works, though they really need to put some sort of emphasis on that. Try putting a different infusion in it. I hear that works for some people.
The system still doesn’t consider them armor. Their original intention was to look pretty outside of combat. If they were intended for combat, they wouldn’t have been released as Town Clothing initially. What is so hard to grasp about this? The only reason they are the way they are now is because they can handle the other battle animations and people want to use them in combat. Do you see the system damaging anything else when you die? Because it isn’t armor, it is WORKING AS INTENDED!
I know it sucks, but you will just have to deal with it and be flexible. Change your build or swallow your pride for a small portion the game. It’s not the end of the world.
Outfits were not intended to be used in combat. What you are seeing isn’t a form of armor, so of course you aren’t going to see it on your clones. Honestly, I don’t know how Arenanet would be able to transfer to your clones. In truth, I’m surprised they don’t ban their usage in any PVP formats, WvW in particular. In PVP, it still lists your class on the map with an icon, but in WvW, classes aren’t laid out in a specific manner. If it’s really such a big deal, just turn it off in those particular circumstances.
Well since they decided to let us wear outfits in combat then yes they are intended to be used in combat now. I will not be buying any more outfits until this is fixed. I really am tempted to ask for my gems back on the bloody prince outfit because I should not pay for something and NOT be able to use it as it is INTENDED. Every other class can wear outfits in pvp why can’t mesmers? It is a bug that needs to be fixed. I am giving it to the 20th and then requesting a refund on a BUGGED item that I purchased.
Compact your inventory and reopen the MP. The MP lists your items alphabetically, instead of the order they are actually in. I think the Sell page gets confused and cross-references the wrong item, resulting in the error.
I thought they were being removed because the Weapon Vendor is getting clutterkittened? If that were the case, they can just add the sets in a bag and allow the users to pick from the bag. With each set in a bag, the vendors could sell more. And if there is a change in ticket price, it could be moved seamlessly onto another tab.

Why can’t they just put the items in a ‘bag’ and let the users choose which skin they want from the ‘bag’? Kind of like how the ascended formulas work? That way the items can still stay, but the vendor won’t be so clutterkittened.
They aren’t very common these days, (now that people have more choices), but some people still use them. Not surprised if Arenanet removes them, though I don’t understand why they just can’t make another NPC or put them in gem shop.
I just tried to create an exotic celestial chest piece through tailoring in an attempt to finish the set. As you can see in the screenies, I have all the items needed to make the item, but the system isn’t acknowledging that I have the insignia in the Discovery mode. I also included the settings in the search to show that there is no way I have accidently missed it in the search features. I’ve already tried rebooting the client to no avail.
I’m more concerned about their Support team and ticketing system right now. In both instances where I had to contact them, I give a full description of my problem in detail in the initial report (with all the information they requested in the correct spaces) and they are going to the right division. When I hear back, it’s them asking what I already gave them. What do these people see exactly on their end? Because clearly, they need to change something.
It said point blank when you go to delete it that everything on toon would be deleted with it and the bag slots specifically states that it would be for that toon you bought it on. Give it a rest.
I have 9 lvl 80s, all of them with extra bag slots unlocked. I don’t like my mesmer so would like to delete him and remake him as different race. But i really don’t think it is fair anet expects me to pay for bag slots unlocks again if i want to delete toon and make new one in the same slot.
Get 20 slot bags instead. Chances are, you won’t need that bag slot and you can just stash those bags in your bank when you are done. Or you can only buy them on characters you can commit to. I fail to see why they should change the way it is right now.
I’d like to point out, as time goes in players get more magic find.
Which has to go hand in hand with chance of drop rate.
I mean from casual play I’ve got 150% … To keep precursors rare would be to counter balance the surge of increased mf across the player base IMO
So as some players are more old with more MF justifies that, sacrificing the new players?!
Then people wonder why so many people stops playing after a while, we feel things are so far away to reach, that is what PvE is all about in end-game, grind for gear, that it’s just easier to do something else.
If we would get one account bound free percursor at 7.5/10k achiv points, that would be fair and balanced, not random people with 1k achiv points already equipping legendaries.
I don’t know if they will rebuild it. After all, the gem sales are up now since you have to pay for a pass to access the all in one place features you had for granted in old LA.
Never have I heard of an MMO destroying their social hub tho. Must be a new strategy to keep players entertained.
Get better gear. Like others say, potions help. But do note the Ele is a really unforgiving class, if you haven’t already noticed. I’ve farmed Orr using literally all other classes and had no difficulty since the nerf.

If anything, I find it more racist that they can’t dare have their culture next to or borrow from a Chinese one, in the same game. You think they don’t slander our ways of life?

Not sure why people are kittening about the Mistfire wolf skill. It’s better than having nothing while you acquire skill points. You don’t need skill points to unlock it, just meeting the level requirement makes it available.
edit: So what about the temporary price cut? It brings in users and isn’t new to the world of marketing. Should have waited to buy it. I paid the full 80 in the beginning, but I’m not kitten.
The only way to win is to not give in and to not buy them. If you do, it’ll get worse. I’ve seen this before on other pixel sites and games. Stay strong, userbase.
Most dyes will tank. You only need one dye per account and you won’t need another of the same name. And with the unidentified dye refunds on the 15th, there will be a massive influx of them. I expect at least a stack of them personally.
I’ve been on other sites and games with inflation problems. There has been no way to effectively equalize all users. Every goldsink that is implemented will punish the poor worse than the more wealthy.
An increase in the tax rate would simply get passed on to consumers, with a little bit being absorbed by sellers. It would not be an effective tax on the rich.
Ok, that sounds reasonable.
But please allow me ask: According to your (or everybody else’s) professional expertise, what would be “an effective tax on the rich” that would help to fight the dire income inequality within the game? Or is this social inequality among player characters something we just have to accept as set in stone?
