No grind = no goal to work towards = no point to continue to play. If you don’t want asc items no problem you can still effectively play the game. The problem lies that our society lacks patience. We want everything yesterday with as little effort as possiable.

Thing is for me in GW I got Obby armour and didn’t mind slowly getting it. There’s something about ascended and legendary weapons in this game that just make me go, “Meh, think I’ll skip it!”. The drive to get them just isn’t there.

I honestly think it has to do with the TP. In GW I used to trade a lot and when I met up with the person I was trading with, we’d usually comment on each others armour. In GW2, that’s gone. You have a droid like interaction with a TP that couldn’t care less if you’re wearing bananas on your feet and a pineapple on your head

That’s a different subset issue. That problems lies within looks and how they are obtained. Because gw1 prestige armor didn’t offer better stats then regular armor, 1st remove the idea of stat difference. Now where does the best looking armor come from? Though I don’t speak for everyone I’m willing to bet that most would say from a dungeon, gem store or race specific. In gw1 you had to go out farm materials, obby armor being equivalent to getting mats for asc armor. We didn’t mind grinding for armor that had no benefit except to look good. Here the good looking armor is gained through gold or dungeons easy peasy. My view on it is that asc armor is ugly, find little sense in wasting all that time to craft it only to later grind more gold for trams crystals to get my better look for 5% damage increase.

The tp kinda has a different effect, it made everything too easy to obtain. In gw1 in or to buy or sell yes you had to go to town. However what were you not doing at the same time? Farming. In gw2 I can auto attack a champ while buying and selling on the tp. Many people like an item because it’s hard to get.

You don’t need Ascended armor. The stat increase over Exotics is minor. So if you’ve given up on getting these, you can still play the game as normal.

People like you are the reason wurm can’t be beaten.

Yes the stats do matter. They offer a 5-15% damage increase. That is a HUGE amount of damage when everything in this game is a dps race.

If you don’t think that much damage matters then please don’t show up to the wurm event or any timed event that is introduced from this point forward.

^—— lol best post in the thread. Max damage or fail and gtfo. Push this message harder because although my bolts of silk are selling for 7s each which is fantastic, I think we can push it to 8.

hahaha you seem curious, want to know how many I could of deleted throughout our chat?

0, I wasn’t using my phone to write post because I was worried that id inconvenience my computer by using it to type. Interesting though huh the only time you aren’t flooded with ascended materials is when your not playing.

The devs job is to enhance player experience, believe it or not at one point tokens had to be stored using a bank or inventory slot. To use them you had to have them in your inventory at the time you wanted to spend them. At no point did they have implement this current system that does take up space, can spend whenever and use on different characters. For what purpose would they put time in to do this for? I guess then if I were to go through your post history I should expect to see you openly protesting against it because it waste dev time and moving items only takes 1 second .

No, unlimiting the asc bank space wouldnt affect me but you fail to deliver a reason why Anet should introduce it. They sell extra bank space as well as extra storage space up to 1000 for the collectible tab. Why would they program anything to accomodiate unintended gameplay?

Ascended mats were introduced for a reason, to craft ascended gear. And they also stated why it is account bound and they never stated that they consider to make it tradeable or vendorable.

If you dont intend to craft, that is your choice, but why should Anet incorporate a feature to store them in the wallet, if they would be useless to you in there anyways because they wont gain value to you?

Why they should introduce it? simple. I kill a champ ascended material, I do a dungeon ascended material, I do a jumping puzzle ascended material, I do a world boss ascended material, I do a temple ascended material, I take a supply camp ascended material, kill tower/garrison lord ascended material.

So outside of placement ( because I guess thats somehow important ??) it would not impede your game play as well as it would even dare i say improve life for you, but yet you cry out no with your strongest point being…. I don’t want to inconvenience the devs for something they are paid to do.

soooo your next solution is to buy the material storage expansion, so that i can store 1000 items that i don’t want? I can see now why you didn’t want to claim the refinement solution…. >_>

Yeah it is a shame its not vendorable, id jump at the chance to sell an entire stack of dragonite for the price of 1 spike. The fact that it is worthless is a pretty good point. Pretend for a moment that all the trophy items ( you know those things that disappear when you click sell junk at the vendor) had 0 worth and were untradeable unvendorable. I bet you would be just absolute thrilled to have inventory space taken up for everything you do.

Well since you have majoooor concerns aginst these solutions I guess we can push for the third option. Since ascended material is suppose to be the highest tier it should be alot harder to obtain then T6 mats no? Lower the amount given. I wont have to worry about it stacking up exceedingly if i forgot to delete it and you dont have to worry about inconveniencing the devs, its a win/win solution. Unless you of course have some complaint against this?

Anet’s Pre release hype was “no more grind”, basically realizing the “grind” issues and how disenchanted players of GW were with it. Now we have the Ascended Armor / FOTM “Grind”. What the heck Anet? Was pre release hype re: No grind just a con job? Would seem a bit hypocritical to me. This games direction is going to vertical in my opinion. I think Anet is shooting itself in the foot!

You’re mistaken. There’s already no “required” grind in the game. You make the choice to grind for the Ascended gear, therefore it’s your own doing.

ps – I already have a full set of Ascended weapons, armor, and trinkets… plus my Legendary. I did the grind, and never complained once. The game is fine.

but you are a grinder/merchant going by your posts, which is fine, but you are the outlier when it comes to an adventure game. This systems you are talking about specifically reward the type of gameplay you do.
Most people didnt think they would have to grind materials or gold for 3-4 hours a day for 2-3 months to get best in slot gear for one set.

As far you make the choice, thats like saying scoring baskets is optional in basketball. The game gives you more power if you do X, this basically means the game is telling you to do X to succeed. If game designers are rewarding you for playing the game the way they dont want you to play, thats not really a good design

Take into account that most people got their gear via dungeons. they skipped the pleasure of farming t6 mats and thus fulfilled their need as quickly as possible. Now they are forced to work for a mere 5% and find it so hard, even though its not required.

That kind of a weird example to use but i guess i can try to use it. Shooting in basketball is optional if your out to have fun and get exercise. If your goal is wining then yes shooting isn’t optional, I might be mistaken so correct me if im wrong all the NBA stars were born stars they never put in time and effort right?

Just buy everything. No grind required!

Cannot buy ascended armor. You can buy legendary weapons but at their current cost that is a MUCH bigger grind than crafting an ascended weapon. Ascended trinkets are fortunately not a grind just time gated.

Huge difference between a goal and a grind. A well designed system has player goals that are fun to achieve. As soon as those goals are put on a basic treadmill, welcome to a grind. I already have a job and do not want to play at another.

I would argue that Ascended Trinkets are a good example of how to implement a goal without placing it on an obvious grind. Most players can get these simply by playing the game the way they always have either in PvE or WvW. It takes time to get them but they aren’t having to speed inordinate amounts of time grinding for cash, crafting and materials.

Yeah a goal and grind are different but they are interlinked. What makes a goal worthwhile? How easy and fast you can achieve it or how hard and tedious?

Pretend that legendaries, titles, asc items, ranks , achievement points don’t exist. What then are you playing for? Is it the content or player/friend interaction? Would it be enough to keep you logging in everyday?

Yeah you could argue that and rightfully so as we all have our opinions. For trinkets it’s generally about 2 weeks or so to obtain right? If I told you that I decided to make the bolt on the 5th of this month, that I got my precursor from the mf 3 days ago spending only 60 gold and that I only need half t6 and gift to go then you’d prolly say I was lying about the time frame. But I am not and I don’t religiously grind either, I have a total of 2000 hours with a week and a half being afk from when I fell asleep in a spvp hot join game ( if you didn’t know you don’t get logged out).

On the other side of the spectrum when you think of monthly you’d prolly think it’d take time and yet most of us are done by at least the 4th day effortlessly. Do you care more for it or less then a regular daily.

Hmm… How about making them Wallet-depositable? Like the Dungeon Tokens?

Why put a crafting material into a wallet that just holds currency?

It comes from the problem at everyone who isn’t crafting asc items face. The wallet doesn’t seem to have a limit. Deleting stacks is just a nuisance after a while. I deleted 5 stacks of dragonite, 2 stacks of empyeral and didn’t bother to count how many blood dust, today I’ll prolly have to do it again. Even still after the deleting spree I have several stacks in my inventory

Are you seriously complaining on the second it takes to destroy a stack?

You failed to read my post. I do that several times a day. Is a second gonna kill me not at all, but the second I forget well then my inventory is filled with worthless kitten. It invades my loot table as well.

Really though I’m more interested on how making it more convenient for those who don’t care or want it would impede your gameplay?

I read your post alright and even if you have to delete 50 stacks per pay (what i doubt), its still lessthan a minute.

Ascended mats also didnt replace any other loot drops, they are additional drops.

Must be a bug then, from time to time I have steel chest give me asc mats despite not coming from a champion or boss.

So what’s your response that makes you so against this idea? Surely it can’t be that your such a caring person that you are worried that we’d be lost and bored if were weren’t forced to spend that one minute deleting it.

Edit- really refinement was a suggestion to dealing with it? Yes please let me spend karma for obby shards that I would of rather gambled on Orr boxes, and then spend 15 silver for the amazing ability to store in a new form still account bound and not worth a copper.

If you already solo roam you know the state there, the majority of the time it’s gonna be you vs a few. You’ll definitely have to work hard then pu for same type of reward but the increased risk definitely makes wvw fun.

Really it’s that big of an hassle? Not only have they given us the ability to wear best damage sets but allow it to be shared with all characters at the mere cost of a click. I guess we could go back to having to buy individual sets for each character and be grossly inefficient all to save a click.

Then again I guess I’m sorted biased with earning agent of entropy 216 times.

Thinking more on it, I found it kinda the suggestion that it’d be game breaking kinda funny. Warriors are able to aoe disrupt every 7 seconds . Outside of timewarp, veil and portal ( notice how they are all non damaging) mesmers have little value.

One panic or spitefull spirit would shutdown/destroy a whole zerg in WvW
Much too powerfull for this type of game.

Would breaking up a Zerg be an issue? Seriously doubt you enjoy running over smaller groups. It’s a shame what they reduced mesmers to, although even they did add that skill it’d have a 40 sec cool down for a 4 sec interrupt. Hooooraaay for self punishment

Knockdown bug

Occurs sporadically but mostly after getting knocked down.

After getting up you are not able to use any skills, you can dodge and weapon swap but doing this doesn’t fix, nor does doing an emote.

The only fix ive found is to get reknocked down which then solves the problem

Rng needs to be increased as well as items need to be obtained only in certain areas. Rarity is what creates value. Everyday loot is spat into our faces and yet we are still unhappy. Why should we be happy with the rare sword that you got from the warm when other players got the same from elsewhere. The more common it is the lower the price.

Grind is necessary to keep interest. Your not being forced to make asc or legendaries, but then again what other real interest is there to keep you logging everyday? While I don’t like asc gear what they have done for the economy is unquestionable. Anet made the horrible mistake of allowing top end armor to be earned through dungeon tokens. However by doing that they cut out nearly all of the reason for mats. Why spend time gathering and crafting when I can get the same stat armor for free and still earn money.

You say that the amount of silk required is unreasonable but yet I willing to be you are thrilled when you salvage a few scraps. Tell me then how thrilled you are when you get thick leather? Is it more or less excitement? Is your first reaction to list it on the to or merchant/destroy it? How is it that there is such a radical difference between 2 t5 mats?

From what I get from your position is that there isn’t enough RNG to certain items?
Do you want to increase the difficulty of obtaining certain objects?

I do agree with your position however about how the RNG on most of the objects is extremely low which is generating huge supply that no one wants. It is also causing disinterest in loot drops. From what I seen no one really cares about rares expect for salvage to get ectos.

I do think there needs to be more uses for the materials and the crafting system needs a lot of work. If following the logic of other MMO’s crafting systems the higher the tier the harder it should be to craft. The current crafting system is starting to turn in this direction but needs a bit more of a push. Leather being one needing the push.

Before ascended bottom and top tiers were the easiest to make (and cheapest) but the middle tiers were actually the most expensive (some of the materials were 1-2s each). Since Ascended crafting that has leveled out and is now in a more proper triangle and not an hour glass shape.

I do agree with the design flaws mentioned with dungeon tokens and exotics. As well about the grind since that’s all the rest of the end game of other MMO’s is essentially.

1. Yes if you compare champ weapons price when they first came out to now there is a giant drop in price. Excluding precursors all exotics except for select few are 1-2 gold. Sure if rng is increased people will cry out worthless grind but in the long run items will carry more of a value. Precursors aren’t cheap because they are easy to come by.

2. By harder I mean limiting the areas in which you could obtain them. As phys said here he did doa to obtain a torment weapon. If you wanted a dhuum scythe you could only get it from the uw zone. The highly desired weapons such as chaos axe, voltaic spear and such had specific areas that you had to do.

@phys yes it is an endless grind because it’s the same results. You don’t do dungeons like you did in gw1 because there really isn’t much a point with no chance of a valued item. Anything gained in the dungeon can be earned faster outside. So then what are you left with ? Well you got 20-25 silver for rare armor 20-35 silver for rare weapon the low end being spears, tridents and the high being great sword, maybe you were lucky and got an Exotic so add 1-2 gold with a rare chance that it was valuable or had something valuable and the rest being 40copper to 1.67 silver mixed w/b/g unless you salvage them to increase your luck.

I guess I can dumb it down for you

100, 1000, or 1 million other players and yet it was YOU who chose to turn your tag on. Thus you chose to take responsibility for whatever outcome. Don’t like it? Don’t tag up.

Your right you can’t control anyone. We all bought the game and thus are entitled to play the game in whatever manner we see fit. So a commander isnt able to directly control a player he isn’t able reinforce sensitive areas of an event? For example ensuring turret operators know what they are doing, if it’s someone inexperienced that wants to give it a try , let them and keep someone close by to back up if they go down. If the event fails, do you think a great commander berates people and then makes a forum post how no one listens like they do on eve, or do they shrug it off saying good try we will get him next time. This is a game not a secondary job.

Lol guarantee success? If you wanted that why bother asking to update bosses with more mechanics increasing the chance to fail and then reacting this way when it happens. Lol it’s just ridiculous. So what if an event fails, it’s not the end of the world.

Is it possible that those players were afk( bathroom, getting. Drink) and missed instructions?
Or maybe they have combined chat, where dialogue flew by?
Maybe because of spam they don’t even have map chat open( must tickle your fancy knowing now that I haven’t had map chat checked since a month after the game came out)
Is it possible they didn’t have ranged weapons?
Do you think the op was happy and joyful when he made this thread or frustrated and angry?
In the state of mind you chose, do you think a intimidated newcomer would be more or less inclined to ask for an explanation? Especially how map chat is when it comes

Last but not least context. True meaning isn’t always transferred on the internet. My initial reaction was he may have came off as disrespectful or maybe there were other reasons. You on the other hand labeled them immediately as insubordinates apparently took extreme offense at my suggestion that respect is earned not given to the point to call it an " uneducated response" . Then you go say that players should be respectful of each other….kinda seems oddly similar to the point I was making, the only difference is yet again you try to reinforce this notion that because you spent gold then you are instantly entitled to respect.

You missed the whole point, what your considering organization is merely a blob throwing bodies hoping that its has more then the opponent. IMO the tag is only there as a beacon for where to run back to once you’ve died.

All those yaks must of shown up because wvw is just chock full of solo roamers right??? With all that organization that the tags brings it should of been easy to wipe two measly tagless groups right?

Random fact of the day world bosses and wvw aren’t organized because there’s some blue chip. If that were actually true you wouldn’t see smaller groups wiping much larger groups in wvw from time to time. Any real organization is due a voice chat program, which do you need a commander tag… nope you can run around with a call target on your head and have the same effect.

LOL if they spent 100G for a tag they know what they are doing, if they are wielding multiple legendaries they must be extremely knowledgeable, and if they paid $$ for gems to convert to gold and buy a tag well… thats it they are the elite of the elite.

Your nearly a year to late mate, I bought my tag with the left overs after making a legendary….just cuz.

Less Skills More Balance - Fail? GW1/GW2

Yeah they dumb gw2 down to attract more players. :/ Cant really hold a grudge as every company is looking to make a game like CoD. It does make it hilarious to see people facetank to their death aginst Fe and shaman a year 1/2 later XD.

Gw1 wasn’t perfect, no game ever will be, but it had it right. All classes required energy to perform attacks as well as cooldowns. none of this spam the same key stuff. Combos in gw1 were very specific, interrupting 1 skill could stop a spike. Gw2… spam that kitten, if you get interrupted wait 4 secs and then do it again.

Professions in gw1 mostly balanced them selves out. hexers beat casters and physical but were countered by healers and hex removal, healers could could lessen the blow of a spike as well as prolong the teams sustain at the cost that they werent able to do much damage. phyiscals did heavy damage to casters but were vulnerable to hexers/conditions.

LOL only 3 viable builds per a profession in gw 1 whattt? did you even play gw1???

Because there are soooo many options with fewer skills I surely wouldnt be able to predict with pretty good accuracy that your next match against:
Warrior – Greatsword / hammer (wvw) longbow/hammer ( pvp)
Necro – scpter/dagger – staff terrormancer
Thief – d/p
phantasm mesmer
longbow ranger
s/d fresh air ele
2 kit switch engi
guardian is a wildcard for the most part being dps now or bunker.

Access to every boon: thieves and wars have the fast recharging elites that they can spam without having to worry about saving it fore that dire moment making Lyssa runes the best suited for them.

Pulls: war doesn’t need them they have plenty of gap closer as well as snares.

Pushes: if you’d explore outside the meta you’d find hammer 4, kick, rifle 5, rampage 2 all do something your looking for… As well as there’s launches like stomp and rampage 5.

Stealth: don’t need it movement skills provided gap closer as well as provide escape. If you really want to be invisible use one of your blast finishers into a friendly smoke field.

Clones: I don’t get the point your trying to make here unless it’s just a random complaint against mesmers. That’s more of a bad design flaw that just won’t be changed. Trust me I’d kill to have what mesmers could do in gw1. Sadly there’s no energy to deny, no hexes and the interrupts in this game self punish more then to the opponent.

Teleports: prolly is tough loosing a victim to a cliff teleport but everyone needs a disadvantage.

Near infinite amount of protection: you talking about the buff? Having one of the highest armor rating along with one of the highest hp pools a healing skill that doesn’t require anything but to be on your bar and never activated, healing power combined with defense with desirable traits isn’t enough that you need more protection? No thxs

Regen: now your just trolling

Cleanse: is pretty kitten good as it is now.

The easier a build is to play while still being fun the more often it is seen. While some suggestions are valid others are just still attempts to try to god mode a profession they like.

Lol isn’t it funny when an event succeeds " oh I’m such a knowledgable great commander it’s because of me that it happened" but when an event fails " you guys are complete idiots why didn’t you listen to me it’s all your fault". If your going to demand obedience then take full responsibility. You say that you were knowledgeable in said event, you were in a leadership position, why did YOU fail the event by not keeping control of others? A good commander follows scripted attacks, a great commander plans for whatever uncertainties that will occur.

Going off the general attitude you have here I can only imagine what your map chat must of been like. The more you try to become an abusive dictator the more belligerent I become.

On the last note I do like the idea of getting paid to follow. I’m for hire 15g world boss, 2 g for reg event. Paid upfront and I keep drops.

Your right I should stay on topic about the lower ranked players being unskilled getting beat up upon by higher ranked “skilled” players, all the while posting pictures of me on the higher ranked side with the other team being full of lower ranks. For the love of grenth please, hell I would be absolutely thrilled if they added a trader offered a spike for a stack.

Unless you don’t care about asc or are already done with crafting it, then you don’t quite the silly problem. You aren’t forced to craft ascended items but we are gonna give you ascended mats, they can’t be traded nor vendored. They are gonna be rewarded for everything you do as well as added into your loot table.

Kill world boss, do a dungeon, Jp, kill a champ – here have asc mat, asc mat asc mat and guess what asc mat.

Maybe can get a break roaming in wvw, ooooh a rare steel chest – asc mat

Gonna have to align myself against this idea.

1. Concealment and surprise are major factors when attacking. Remove that and you’ll just have a situation just as bad as waypoint defending.

2. It discourage solo roaming even worse. As it is now when you contest a camp rarely is it ever 1 – 2 people who come to investigate.

3. This is my biggest reason why no, if you don’t already love the scarlet minion message ( why they have this in all game types….) then your gonna absolutely just love getting spammed alert messages every 2-3 mins only to find out its a bunch of d/p teefs trolling you. Sure you can say make a way to ignore the messages but that just defeats the whole purpose of the system.

And yes, rank does matter. GW2 pvp is all about experience and knowing how to fight with/against all classes. Rank is a reflection of that amount of experience.

lol depends trinity with the current stat? terrible. can you imagine mid-raid just before an event annnnd your healers crash, then your tank rubber bands forcing mid lines to tank…..

This system is nothing more then an illusion of breaking the trinity system. still a dps,support,bunker its just they have now dumb down the system with useless traits. if mesmer run Retaliatory Demise or get kicked !!!!! you get pigeon holed into certain builds…..kinda ironic right?

We need a lot more of these difficult bosses so people will figure out they aren’t entitled to win every encounter added to the game. You can spam 1 to win 99.9% of PvE; don’t complain when good content is added. If it’s not for you, it’s not for you. But a lot of us are loving this stuff.

Lol that sounds about right with some of the things they said. Anet you could lower the passive heal on while buffing the base healing on surge to promote more active play/counter play. Nope can’t do that wouldn’t have enough bps. Well yeah at first….but after they rebind their healing skill then it’ll work out. Nope esports.

Lol poison as a counter, cleansing ire, melandru, Lyssa= gg. In no way am I calling those op. I would say Lyssa is biased towards classes with shorter elite cd though.

If they are a silly face tank war then yeah you can eventually out dps them, but lately wars have become the visible teefs. Use their movement skills and it’s lol good try but bye. I also play wvw where it’s kinda more prominent so I kinda am a little biased there.

Lol nice pink bunny has a better excuse then I do. 8/10 times I get defeated by the login boss. I log in check whose online, don’t see anyone online, log out. Hell this last week and half, I’ve logged in once, to download the patch and then logged back out with that burnt out feeling.

Hmmm maybe it’s time to try new gears to increase survivability, instead of zerking face tank. Key dodges, blocks might also be good.

I’m game with splitting map completion for pve and wvw. You’d be given the choice from the start for pve or wvw completion. Choice of pve would remove wvw completion requirement, while choice of wvw completion would reward gifts and 25 g ( requirement that character has to be level 80 to gain reward). Problem solved easy peasy

My point is, this isn’t so hard. It just takes patience and I’ll bring that character out of the box again next weekend, depending on what color we get in the match up.

Read my post again and you’ll realize I never even used the word “hard”. I just said I hated it. Why do I hate that part ? Because I cannot decide when I can complete a solo achievement, because I have to pay attention constantly about a game mode that I hate, because anytime I do something else I risk missing an opportunity.

I know how to use color rotation etc, that doesn’t make it a better idea to force people into WvW.

Btw please stop comparing this achievement with JP or diving goggles, the comparison doesn’t stand because there’s no diving goggles in WvW and because JP works the same way world map completion does : it’s mostly PvE and yet you have to torture yourself into WvW to get to the even more terrible idea that are the JP laying around there. You want a real comparison ? What if you couldn’t get a WvW distinction (a title or rank for instance) unless you’ve also completed every dungeon paths with that character ?

Even if you don’t think it’s that big of a deal, when the bright side is hardly existing and the downside a real issue for some players you have to admit it should change. Because you’re also “forced” into PvE to get this PvE achievement doesn’t mean it should stay as is, it means it should change for you too.

Lol though your not the exact poster that made the apples to pear comment, you made a more detailed post so I’ll entertain your thought.

Ranks aren’t applicable in any shape or form, so we will go with title. Lol comparing pve to wvw requirement to wvw to pve requirement is like apples to the flux capacitor design.

Wvw non slayer achievements range from doing something 100k to 1 million times. Being the generous person I am, I’ll give you the 100k tower title with your now added all dungeon paths. The wvw side requirement alone requires 16,6667 hours ( 5 min buff from both your server and opponent server before being able to flip) keeping in mind that is not including time needed to break gate, travel, if tower is upgraded, or if opponent is defending hardcore as well as not including karma train if it a available which would lower time spent

Wooot now that we got the 95% out of the way and your not burnt out we come to the 5%. Lol if you think it’d be just a once then I’m done thing when it comes to wvw titles. It’d more likely be a 5% of the 100k, in other words doing all dungeons 5000 times.

Being forced into wvw just to complete a title and craft a legendary was something I didn’t like to do. I still don’t like it and when I was running around exploring, I just followed the blue tortilla chip so I can quickly get the places out of the way.

Also, how did Anet arrive to the conclusion that PvE players had so much fun that they stay? What is the percentage of players that actually stay compared to the ones that leave? Did they account for PvE players that joined for the season achievements and reward chest? What are their data metrics on players that don’t play wvw if it wasn’t on world completion (if any)?

If it really bothered you that much…. You do know you could of just straight up grinded the pve you enjoy and just bought w/e legendary you wanted off the tp. No one is forcing you to do anything.

As a phantasm Mesmer you shouldn’t be shattering unless f4 or f3 for defensive purposes.You loose out on alot of damage shattering them. Your not doing anything wrong by not using class mechanic its just phantasm is much more less involved style
