Forget the datamining thing, I think that LA will be attacked by the sea dragon but LA pulls through and after some build up we go defeat bubbles with the help of the B-iconics, kiel, o-tron, evon, and magnus :P

Anet’s latest tweeter post "Something is stirring in the jungle…and making its way straight to Central Tyria… " with the image of Mordrem in what appears to be Kessex Hills got me thinking “will this event be part of LW? a prelude to HoT? storyline? a possible warning to the Capatain’s Council?” what do you all think?

WAIT A MINUTE! King THORN! It all makes sense now, the Thorn king will be partialy responsible for HoT XD. Silliness aside im pretty sure they will move halloween to early october most likely, there is no way they’ll ignore an important and their FIRST event ever. What makes me curious is how the mad king thorn will react to LA. Will ellen, magnus, evon, and hero-tron join the festivities?

I am so happy we are getting raids. However, my mind instantly thought that with instanced 10 man locations maybe Living World Season 1 will be easier to implement. What do you guys think?

hmmmmmmmmmmm I don’t really know much about gw1 history and characters, but the point of the HoT story is to find as many survivors as possible, kill Mordy, and retrieve Glint’s egg. HOWEVER what if the Devs see this post and be like “huh……..many people really love references to gw1 and this golem is a potential reference guide! okay LS S4 M.O.X will return” M.O.X, Scruffy, Mr. Sparkles, and Hero-Tron will be drinking buddies :P

To be fair we really don’t know what the Forge is. What if the drones are AI pets/minions? Signets? Mantras? What if the drones are actually the elite skill of the Forge and the utility skills are completely different to what we expect? All I want is to hopefully see a teaser image on Monday.

edit: oops! sorry just read the disclaimer XD If I were to take the drones as absolutely bad AI minions yeeeeah we would be in a bit of trouble….meh I restate my original post XD

The “mini” tiger is nowhere to be seen in the mini preview! Does this mean that Anet will not release it anytime soon? or does it mean the “mini” is coming soon? ^.^ Plz Anet everyone loved this “mini” tiger the moment everyone previewed it

Don’t worry lapis! My hunch is telling me that we will be revealed next week! and if not yeah……………..Lets just hope engie and reanger are done in the next two weeks and then beta comes ^.^

P.S. I completely aagree that Anet killed turreters BUT kits are a fun, decent and forceable replacement IMO.

Ho-ho-tron is ok but I know you can give us a wintersdayless model.

Before LA was rebuilt and after we finish Season 2 of the Living World you could find Ellen kiel, Magnus, Evon, and Hero-Tron in Fort Mariner. We get this little gem:

While I don’t really intend on going to PAX here are my two cents:

GW2 is an awesome MMO. I especially love the character story arcs and the characters themselves, especially the development from S1, I cant wait to replay season 1.

hmmmmmmmmmmmm click! what if they sell tail “back items?” that way if ppl get outfits there wont have to be a “tail attire”

When this episode ended LW S2 went on a hiatus, the last 3 or 4 episodes are amazing! Tears will escape your eyes my friend.

Kits help us not wait for cooldowns on our main weapon set. With the new elite spec will we essentially be the only profession without “weapon swap”? Not saying is bad, but now I am more interested in the drone’s role

I’m the 1% who would be happy if the drones were minions, but I think that would be unlikely since we already have turrets. HOWEVER many have said that turrets are useless so maybe drones are an improvement? If they are minions/signets/mantras I’m happy

That is (whatev)-o-tron. Hero-tron, ho-ho-ho-tron, etc and is already a mini.

To be fair I TECHNICALLY said golem assistant at first which is a complete different entity XD. As for a Hero-Tron mini it can be done because:

1. Some find the Ho-Ho-Tron bell annoying a wintersdayless o-tron is a better alternative
2. o-Tron would not be the first NPC to have multiple mini incarnations Rytlock, Kasmeer, and Lord Faren have two types of minis. Same person but different attire. a Ho-Ho-Tron and Job-o-Tron/Hero-Tron mini is plausible

We got the revenant’s elite spec. Something that NO ONE thought we would get this early. We all know we will see our hammer and drones in action. But it would be an amazing surprise if we get it next don’t ya think?

So far each mini has had something unique or the mini is “critically acclaimed.”

We have the mini rock which many people bought because lets face it, its a freaking rock with googly eyes!

Next came the dragon mini which is huge, has an amazing idle animation, and doubles as proof of security account.

The mini mimic chest can be previewed in-game in a room in the BLTC and the animations look awesome

And this is a bug this is not a bug but if you preview the mini tiger its almost the size of a ranger pet. If this is the actual size then Anet bravo! you are awesome

The minis just keep getting better and better.

I am going to be really honest here. Hero-tron is my fav character and in honor of my new laptop here is a comparison between my old laptop (golem assistant) and my new laptop! I present Hero-Tron in high quality

As far as I can remember from watching youtube videos of the major character in the Lw world we know most of them will play a role in HoT and LW S3. The only one Im not familiar with was Mai Trin. All I know about her is that she assasinated a member of the Captain’s Council. What was her ultimate fate? Is there a possibility she might return?

Hmm it’s already in game as one of the unlimited wood cutting axes so I can’t see it being too hard for them to add it. But they may not want to for that very reason..

But they are completely different things, when you think about from a game company perspective cool items=more money. The model is log-r-tron based on the popular golem hero-tron which is the same model as a golem assistant……..is it consider desperation if I promise to gift to 10 people this mini? XD

The one thing that I’ve been so looking forward to in these Beta Weekends is trying out the elites for Ranger and Engineer.

Those are my favorite classes to play and I’m super interested in giving my feedback on them as that is where my previous heavy playing experience lies.

Please Anet, sooner rather than later!

The mini chest pet got dataminded, the comments have been fairly positive and I agree the mini looks cute.

In the blacklion trading company building where we can preview new and old weapon sets given by Evon Gnashblade there is a sealed room with unavailable old sets.

Here’s where it gets interesting: there is now an NPC that mentions the upcoming pet and you can see a bunch of them running and walking around.

Personally this would be a cool idea to preview upcoming minis such as having a bunch of mini tigers/penguins/wyvern/job-o-trons walking/running around.

HOWEVER it would be extremely bizarre to have lets say “mini taimi’s” running around XD

That’s why I called it a drone TOY. Its a toy its only function is to scout/control him like a RC. If it were to be an ability it would need way more restrictions so that it doesnt feel op.

If it was an exclsuive forge ability it would be targetable and had a time limit.

I have not played much thief but I enjoy the pet mechanic and ranger does not disappoint imo. However I might try thief more often due to the elite weapon we might get

I was seeing forge comments and what not and another brilliant idea hit me! What IF A-net released a toy drone that when activated our character would remain on a “activating control panel animation” and we took control of a forge drone to scout the area? the drone would be un-targetable by enemies and the only action we have is key 6 to stop controlling the drone. Thoughts?
