I like that silly golem, prob one of my fav characters in the game. When season 2 ended you could find him here with ellen magnus and evon and this happens (https://youtu.be/eoElPeNJwhc) after that he was gone until the LA update.

Idk when the refugees arrived in LA and the spot where Hero-Tron, Marcello, and the kids were was replaced by a bunch of supplies and we got a new poi “Kiel’s office”. The golem and his “friends” are near that poi, with all the refugees and Hero-Tron giving pamphlets (he specifically says refugees and new residents), I was hopeful the golem would do something and he did! Speaking to Ogden about his apparent sentience.

I like that the writers haven’t forgotten about him………..but I hope they haven"t forgotten about his supposed spy biz. The 1st chapter of PoF strongly indicates that we will talk to Ellen Kiel in the prologue and hopefully see a small golem trying to boost morale to the newly arrived refugees as something optional to see (most of his appearances were optional which is why it was nice to find him when he poped up). If not the refugees could actually open up a LW S4 chapter with the LA characters and hopefully involve them more after LW S1.

Players like Hero-Tron (I still see ppl with backpack/gathering tools/glider whom ppl love or hate, I understand both sides XD) and Bobby and Peter mention him in the 5th anniversary livestream which means the developers like the golem too.

I really hope he returns, and to boot gonna wait for gem-maker mini Hero-Tron and Spring-r-Tron/Skimm-r-Tron skins

The news says that the community can also vote for their favorite, is there going to be a site where we can view and vote?

• Crystal desert: not too much feedback because imo it is amazing
• raptor: steering is a bit extreme but with practice I got it, don’t know if Anet should tweak that a bit
• mastery points: specifically the chef one maybe once you throw an ingredient make the bar fill up again instead of a portion, took me like 10 tries
• hero points: they were soloable, thank you
• enemies: not too hard or too easy, good
• items: like almost everyone I don’t really like unidentified gear
• events: liked them, obviously the stand out is the raptor race, if ppl think steering is hard I recommend try and try and try the race
• bounties: basically activated veterans, I can find it problematic if you activate one and a zerg kills it before you arrive
• adventures: I’m glad they don’t give mastery points or something useful, they are fun little mini-games as they should’ve been in HoT
• Story: I think its amazing that the mastery (mount/raptor) is implemented into the story, still annoyed at the Rytlock story (but i know we will get answers).

Same here, this golem is one of my favorites! Hopefully this means he will either:

A) appear in the prologue of the expansion

B) living story 4

C) a current event maybe?

In the demo for PoF there is a “Black Lion Guard”. We know that the Lionguard are under Ellen Kiel’s command, but why would Evon send his employees? to make money and gain information for new BLTC items, but how did he know? his spy told him

Never new skins, they have always been 1 ticket, weeks pass and then 2/3. It’s just another test the waters that will fail, just like the soul bound one that gailed because you couldn’t sell it on the bltc

Here is the problem: Braham is a Norn. His character arc for Season 1 and part of Season 2 was to make a Legend for himself, away from his well known mother. The end of Season 2 he starts reconnecting with Eir and is crushed at her death in HoT. Come Season 3 and every norn, Rytlock, and PC do the norn thing: honor her death and remember her epic Legend.

What does Braham do? he mourns. He tries to make me feel like I dont understand how he feels. While he lost his mother I lost two of my krewemates to be golems for eternity, my mentor and friend from my order sacrificed himself for the greater good, I accidentally killed an innocent asura, I was forced to kill one of my most trusted allies for the good of Tyria. He spits on my face. And the writers try to make me feel bad for that. He doesnt wat to talk to me, he’s going to get a lot of norn killed, he makes a new guild called DE, when we execute the plan to sleep the dragons we worry about angering Braham even more. But at this point I dont care about Braham.

Job-o-tron/hero-tron is fairly popular (sadly he had a small cameo in Season 2 and didnt join us for HoT) and would love to see him again. I always see ppl with the backpack/gathering tools (the glider is a rarity). He has had a backpack,gathering tools, and glider (plz plz give us a non-wintersday mini!!!!:D) and a weapon set on him is not far-fetched. 10/10 would buy these:

I own nothing just a humble messenger, the original post is on reddit. As someone who never played S1 and watched through videos, its amazing seeing a coherent and well made video of the unplayable season. Enjoy!

The only thing I wish out of minis is for them to be as fast a ranger pet/minion. They are too slow

Pretty sure this is a bit of an unpopular opinion now but I like the Replica Job-o-tron backpack. I like the character, it gives a feeling that I’m never alone when I’m in an empty area/solo mission……and whether people like it or not it has a unique mechanic XD

And my future favorit will be the mini scruffy backpack, was datamined a few weeks ago so that’s a suitable replacement to those who want a silent golem backpack

I personally like the Tron items……….HOWEVER I 100% understand why others hate the talking things and……..the speed boost and jumping quotes can get annoying and can be seen as unintentional trolling on the user’s part and mini ho-ho-tron with his bell is bad

So far LW S3 has been great, love the new areas, the dragon is cute (subjective comment and im super proud of anet for not making the mini a gemstore item, kudos) and the concept is good about dealing with two dragons.

The main problem is Dragon’s Watch. Why do we recruit such horrible people? Marjory’s whole story arc was to avenge her sister, in fact by the end of HoT she feels happy but is having problems with kasmeer. Come lazarus and she wants to revive her sister angrily ignoring our heeds of warning and goes with the mursaat.

Braham’s supposedly wanted to help us defeat the dragons in order to honor her mother. Instead he wants to kill all the dragons himself, we politely try to reason with and he angrily calls us incompetent and does the exact thing we told him to reconsider and wait.

Hopefully Taimi doesnt think she can do everything on her own and call us off and a bookah.

I really dont want Braham in my guild now.

Karka: creatures from the island that attacked LA after being disturbed by the Consortium. Can also be found in Ember Bay.

Considering that there is an ever growing population in this game of players who weren’t around for the release, this doesn’t mean jack kitten to us. We didn’t get this lore and we can’t get this lore.

I don’t think this is a good argument for keeping the map in the game.

My main point was to show how SSC is relevant to parts of the story (LW S1 and your comment is another reason why Anet needs to make S1 replayable. When? who knows!). And these characters that were introduced with the island are relevant to LW S2, HoT, LW S3 and the future. As for the main topic of keeping the island…….really? We get a free zone and OP wants it removed? If you cant play it find a group. There’s always people farming karka sheels.

The main problem is that Scarlett’s war does a poor job as a recap and dlc. We would still be missing an important mission that was scarlet’s very first appearance (opening and closing ceremony). We are also missing the consortium (this is were canach was introduced) story. Ellen kiel, Magnus, Evon, and job-o-tron played a role throughout the season and a crucial role in the last episode, they are never mentioned

Would it be possible to implement Closing Ceremony and Scarlet’s playhouse? Would love to play those two and seem easier to make into a fractal

I was unable to get the job-o-tron tonic back in the day. Could we get this as a possible replacement for the common folk? I will even be happy to have it sit on my inventory for ever after I’m done using it :P

I have a hard time expressing DR without getting an infraction, all I can say is I hate it! I was really happy to be leveling an alt and getting good loot but noooooooooooe!

Why on earth remove the one useful thing about them? Sure when they explode they grant super speed, that’s it? I am not joking when I say that the only way to make these robots useful is to make them pets now, not some mini temporary aide mechanic.

Well, first of all, it’s really more of an Easter egg than anything. You REALLY have to go out of your way to become an anomaly. Second, it’s not in ANY way a requirement to do so. Its just some fun option someone added because why not?

How do you know this?

Because there is a chance you transform into an anomaly, it’s completely random. Plus it only happens to the ones who chose the priory. If you chose consortium or haven’t done the secret current event then the transformation doesn’t happen at all

Someone told me this interesting little tidbit. The charr keeps mumbling 97 and doesn’t give us a concrete answer. However, think about it. What’s the most relevant thing with numbers? Fractals. What’s fractal 97? Thaumonova Reactor. What’s in the fractal? The most powerful incarnation of the first anomaly ever created! And we all know how relevant the anomalies have been lately. Is this a fun Easter egg or possibly a deeper connection?

For the new current events if you choose the priory and then do the rifts event there’s a chance you’ll transform into an anomaly of your race. How about also making it an outfit for those of us who want to wander around as a walking disaster and those of us who chose the Consortium? It’s a win-win

At the end of the “Burden of Choice” achievement who did you choose? Consortium or Priory? I personally chose Consortium
