Sadly the double aura from combining the water GM with shouts was nerfed away.

I took all the instant cast skills with my overload spec so it’s not so bad. (also i’m asura so it’s a big advantage)

I still play base ele (spvp) and it’s still great. Arcane is just as good as tempest.

I think it’s more for people with no crit. my spvp engi doesn’t even have any precision, so bunker down does nothing.

Nerf the effects WHEN in a large situation NOT when we are in small groups / solo.

Default models aren’t forced at all times, so why low quality spells. Flashiness is one of the main reasons to play ele -_-

May as well just get HoT, it’s pretty fun

Earth dodge still blasts, I’m guessing you’ve been away for quite a while since that was nerfed in the first year.

Sounds like you’re getting lag, remember ping is average ping and the server can sometimes lag skill activations

I’ve never encountered any backpiece issues on my asura.

The effects should be reduced on others’ skills, not your own.

upgrading to w10 did improve my performance, maybe it could help you.

I like the heart of thorns glider, so not going to get any bundle with a glider in it, would be nice to have them separated later, i’m patient.

If we can’t get sittable chairs , I don’t think any new animations are going to be happening on such a large scale.

The only way to end that would be to nerf necro into uselessness. Being the class everyone focuses is good in that you’re at least powerful and threatening.

pvp is all about controlling areas though, staff eles are known for damage in that situation, what are you talking about.

Fresh air also blows up single targets, so I don’t know what you’re on about there either.

With all the break bars the cripple pulse is actually quite useful.

Yeah there was no need for this to be forced on the user of the spell Just place it on other players.

The game isn’t balanced around 1v1 and never has been. Going below 90% is incredibly easy and the effort spent keeping above that just makes the ele weaker later. You also keep all conditions you gained if you went down to 89% hp even if you heal up.

It’s sad that the best trait in that line is written in stone.

Water hitting 5 targets doesn’t make it any less for healing.

How would newbies know how common it was to receive messages from players?

Yes my one issue is my character saying something is rare when it’s not. Maybe that voiceover should only trigger if the item is worth over 1gold on the TP or something?

I don’t mind the bags really, though being able to bind double click to my mousewheel would be great. Anet added a wonderful quality of life improvement with the “no longer let ground targeting go out of range” option, so I have hope.

Tempest is pretty fun.

Just don’t get shot by snipers, they have so many tells and are easily controlled. Ele isn’t going to face tank if you’re wearing zerk gear.

It would be interesting if heat sync wasn’t bugged. It just doesn’t seem to do anything.

They wanted to do it without blowing out the economy, just making the new stuff worth more would just move the goalposts on the economy – dungeons were pretty crazy amounts of gold while farms are much more neutral.

There’s a /wiki command ingame because you’re supposed to use it, the discovery based crafting system isn’t supposed to be readily apparent right away.

The reason things have multiple stages is so that you can have a few milestones splitting up the process.

I think it’s because most of the time you’re not just spamming autoattack non-stop, I’m really glad it stops when I stop holding, I interrupt my main abilites much less often.

Interesting, didn’t see that change, will have to test it when I fully unlock tempest.

Why do people think you need 400 hero points for the elite spec? That is to unlock a bunch of aesthetic stuff too.

Welcome back Lumpkin, tbh the expansion should have plenty of stuff for casual players, like the storyline / exploration / elite specs

@Ardid does seem like it’d be better to sell excess copper rather than making it into bronze, since you have to buy the tin from the vendor.

Each enemy type has different agro behaviours.

They did say “new stat combos” were coming, which probably means old stat combos.

It’d be nice to have class quests but that’s a LOT of work for something only a fraction of the playerbase gets to experience.

Same reason they stopped doing them in WoW even though they were the best quests in the game.
