Only reason you see those lfgs is that the non-specific lfgs fill instantly and disappear, while the people waiting for a specific combination of classes will have to wait longer.
This is especially amusing with people that want to speed run, since it often takes longer to make the party than the time saved.
Did you get all the Crafting material expansions for the bank? You probably shouldn’t be carrying those stacks of crafting mats that can just be storaged. You should have the star of gratitude / princess / mawdrey to eat up lots of items too. Sell the rest.
My characters also have very little inventory space, so I have to be quick with the salvaging.
That said, I have no problem with more buyable inventory slots , I don’t see how it would negatively impact other players.
You’d be amazed how useful the extra slots from 20 bags are though. Specially since you can get the corncob bags cheaper than the crafted ones.
Rebound affected my overload, last I checked.
I think it’s weaker because it affects your whole group. I have a feeling there could be some interesting combos especially with alacrity.
I liked the overloads on my Tempest a lot more than I thought I would. 5 seconds is actually way longer to wait than I thought it was, feels a lot more tactical.
I loved Ghosts of Ascalon ( T_T ) need to read the other two for sure.
@Fay other fantasy books are boring because there’s no attachment. Gamebooks are the best
It would be nice, needing to buy 7 runes for the occasional underwater shenanigans is a pain :p
Most mmos people take a break before an expansion comes out, since there’s never much to do.
Commanders are often helping, not in LA but out in the world we usually are.
These are so awesome! keep up the good work
You take healing power if you want to heal other people, it’s different to vitality where you’re keeping yourself alive.
Burn guardian I’d imagine.
No you won’t get the new skills/weapon without being a tempest iirc.
You haven’t played it. You have no idea what it’s actually like, don’t be stupid. You’re really saying “the damage is low” when you have no idea what the final numbers will be…
I think it’s clear how the damage is when we saw how they were killing Svanir at PoI (or how Svanir was killing them). Even if the damage will be higher, traits are still terrible (+ many other things like Elite shout). There is no trait that modifies damage. So if we tell devs that something’s wrong, chances that something will change are higher.
Nothing is final. Also tempest will play differently to base ele, so it could bring something to the table. Again, if it is weak it’ll be buffed.

just a PSA: Air auto DOES NOT gain damage over time, that’s just the weird channeled ability UI.
haha that’s funny, when my friends and I were at a metal festival we were shouting “eye of the storm” non-stop on the campsite, it can work!
tbh I’m more interested in what overloads will do for conjure specs.
Also, the “circle of fire” you mentioned is probably because you have the Persisting Flames trait equipped, which creates a Lava Font at your location when you are downed. Fun fact, if you can stall in downed state long enough, you can active Vapor Form, and when you return to downed state, you can summon another Lava Font. Useless most of the time, but could be useful in PvE :p
It can wreck people in pvp too if you’re lucky
All jumping puzzles are designed around non-swiftness speed.
I think bleed is external bleeding and stabbing is internal bleeding :p
There’s already a mod for this iirc.
tbh there are junk drops worth hundreds of gold, so i’ll keep them thanks :p
The loot not going straight to deposit is another psychological thing, so you feel you’ve looted some reward.
Yep an elite for each skill type would be nice.
The advantage of projectiles is that they can combo. Pretty much all projectile weapons have some attacks that aren’t projectiles too.
Reflection is fine
If you want enemy or self target aoe, put your mouse there and then press the button for the skill.
I agree that hair looks quite nice. More styles in general are nice, though I do prefer more fantastical styles in fantasy mmos.
A slider for afro size wouldn’t go amiss.
Not sure what you’re getting at but you will only be able to have 1 elite specialisation active at once.
I got a precursor in a jp chest once, though the rewards are generally less because they’re much easier than any dungeon + you can park your characters there.
GW2 is the best looking mmo by far imo, don’t be absurd. Breaking the game for anyone on lower end systems for no good reason won’t help the game. Just use sweetfx.
It was very well done, I’m glad these utility items weren’t too tough to get but made you travel and do things you wouldn’t normally
The price was always fine, the character slot was holding me back from buying :p
HoT Price Feedback + Base game included [merged]
in Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns

Base expansion should have a character slot like in gw1
Yes Mawdrey gets rid of your dust, but saving you gold by not crafting it and deleting your dust saves you money in the end. You won’t ever break even from Mawdrey: you’ll either quit the game first or GW2 will shut down before that happens.
Considering that I didn’t spend any gold on it, I broke even pretty quickly. The quest to get all the parts was really fun too.
Transmutation charge? The tailoring backpack is the best looking back in the game :O
Spending money on it was your mistake, it’s not something you should do that for.
Just got mine last month, felt great to feed it all those bloodstone dusts, gotten a couple exotics too
Once again making a thread to suggest an option to turn off the damage numbers. I really don’t like having them flying everywhere especially when you can’t see how much health anything has.
Please Arenanet…
I already stopped using Ice Bow because of this info. Eles get no love from the Devs. If ANET had their way, they would totally REMOVE Eles as a class.
Why would you already stop using it when it hasn’t been nerfed yet. Boycotting a skill isn’t going to do anything :p
I’m playing xcom longwar again.
I know you won’t be able to sell crafted precursors, but not sure if that also applies to legendaries made with them.
I wonder if Rytlock’s legends will be different to the players’ ones.
Would be nice
Wow I’ve always loved how it looks on shields.
Never heard of anyone only reviving for the tiny xp boost. GW2 community aren’t so heartless.
Well they won’t be dashing away as quickly as before, so it’s not a complete loss.
Trait lines are more about the abilities they give you more than the stats, the stats were a complete pain.
Going into earth for stability on my ele but getting useless condition damage is something I’m happy I don’t have to worry about anymore.
Do those numbers include vulnerability?
gw2 is made to be played alongside other games imo, that’s what no-sub means.
That said SAB please, i never completed zone 2
Lightning rod is my favourite GM, so fun
