Also Astralporing, anet introduced Ascended because players got exotic much faster than expected. It was expected players would get it about as slowly as it takes to get ascended now.

Legendary is for the skin and the ability to swap stats.

I just run to a central area then press it, the range is pretty big. Also sometimes you can just see them if you look carefully.

You don’t even need superior on the water weapon, minor and major will hold the land weapon’s charges (unless it was patched, I haven’t been underwater in a while).

Any race that lets you use poison is good, having no poison is one of our weaknesses.

Well half the ele specs are already melee so being in melee range isn’t much of an issue :p

I use tornado when I’m fighting on walls, there’s no escape

Also being able to switch to water and burst (I use D/F) with comet, nobody expects burst after you switch to water.

Idk it should at the very least be moved to utility or have its CD reduced to 60s. As it is Flame axe is almost more effective anyway. The real beef I have is While I love my ele I can go hours without using my elite since none of them are game changers in WvW. Play a guard and you get Tomes that change the course of a battle, Play hunter and you have rampage as one and suddenly your stacking might faster than a critical fire necro running sigil of strength with ghostberries. play a mesmer and boom whole team double speed GG. Play necro and hey look i get a worthless minion…. hey look i have a cool looking sword that lets me move across the map relatively quickly hey look im a tornado that will hit you three times in the next 20 seconds teeheee.

That’s the main issue, sometimes I forget I even have an elite, because everyone one of them will reduce my effectiveness in 90% of situations. (in pve at least) In wvw they get more use I think.

I need to move my elite hotkey to something easier to press every 15 seconds…

either way gw2 has the nicest community in any mmo i’ve played, except maybe EVE, EVE players love to help out and are really nice, though wether that’s honest or not, who knows :p

I prefer the more freeform dailies, but then when I log in I tend to do what I want to do, and having a bit of extra loot for that is nice.

anet already posted that they are fine because they aren’t creating gold in the economy, it’s just moving gold from one player to another (with the TP tax). A gold sink.

I really hope they don’t raise the level cap, it’d just break everything for no reason. You can add more stuff to do without a level grind.

No console could handle the specs GW2 requires.

I have a feeling we won’t be getting any weaponsets that we already have as conjures, so when we do get a new weapon it’ll be sword/offhand sword, rifle, pistol/offhand pistol or mace/offhand mace.

Welcome back, don’t have any real advice other than find something fun and then build for that, I guess. Celestial gear may be a good idea if you want to do everything.

I’m guessing these traits would have downsides for the other attunements?
