Ok I just went around in 1 area and did not see any. I guess I just was in the wrong places. I wish they would show up on the map like every other event item, and the presents themselves last year.

My guess is that people had stocked them and thought they were dropping this year so they started to sell them anticipating a price drop. I don’t think they are available this year though- could be wrong but only 2 people that I have seen have claimed to get 1 so either they are super rare or those people where mistaken and did not get them this year.

Last year there were presents you could open and they would have the holiday toys in them and drop gifts. Are those not in the game this year? I have not seen any and they are not marked on the map like every other thing has been for these kind of things.

So now I guess the cool thing to do if you have the recipe is to buy them for really cheap on the tp and then sell them in map chat for 2 gold to people that cannot see them. Please fix this.

Anyone looking to make the plush griffin the recipe is switched with the toy golem. So if you learn plush griffin you will get toy golem. If you learn the toy golem you will get plush griffin in your crafting tab.

I just used my plush griffin tonic recipe and guess what I learned Toy Golem! And now that recipe says I already know it.. and the cost for a new on on the tp is crazy!

:( Please fix this and hopefully I can make the tonic I was wanting to make and not have to buy a new recipe.

Was hoping to see this fixed in the patch Still waiting to be able to buy this.. or if anyone has an extra they feel like sending my way I would be so happy!

It says already known but I have not learned them and are not available to craft.

Maybe they are in the dungeon? I have not ran that yet so have no idea what you get from it.

I am not buying them- can’t see them. I am telling you what is happening to those that are selling them. You cannot find the recipe without having it already. I just want the stupid thing

You are right it is on the TP just like the toxic mini was on the TP after it’s fix, however, people who do not have the recipe cannot find it on the trading post because it does not show for a search. You sold it to someone who has the recipe and is hoping to sell it for a lot more once it is fixed to those of us that do not have the recipe and cannot find it.

Would love to buy this but it is not showing on the tp..Is a fix planned on this?

I am starting to wonder if maybe it is people that had them selling them in case they are available.. it is really slow going on the price. Who knows though. I had sold mine last month thinking they would be back.. but bought another one just in case they are actually gone.

Just to add to this- The lower sigils have not gotten cheaper- You would think that if they are available again that those would be dropping as well? Or maybe it is just because more people are 80 and not opening the smaller gifts?

I have seen many people post about opening tons of boxes and none have listed this sigil. It must be really rare I guess.

I doubt it will go much higher.. before people started stock piling is was so cheap.. now they have no reason to horde it.

I don’t know I looked and the price was 30 gold and it has gone down. Maybe they just have a really bad drop rate.

What is going on with these? I found it on accident and they are going for under 11 silver- less than the ecto and filigree it takes to make them. I bought a few for when Jewelcrafting leveling comes out but I am wondering is there something that people are salvaging for these? It makes no sense to make them at a loss to sell- and my order filled relatively fast. The other Jewels are selling for much more so I just wondered what the heck was going on with these.

I am hoping for a frosty holiday weapon for blacklion tickets. I am sure there will be something new we can buy with them.

Yes I would. I had fun completing most of the achievements- ruins was not fun to complete though.

I don’t think the reward was that bad and the mini is cute.

They make endless ones. Someone datamined that there would be a recipe this year but not sure what the mats where going to be. I used my last frame to make one this week and it took a stack of stuffing and glue- not sure how many tries that is.

It seems like they changed it at the last minute. Kind of lame I think why not have 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of all the leagues get them. Oh well only a stack anyways that will be gone in a matter of weeks (if not less) for most people.

If you’re using it a lot, you should be concerned. You’re getting more sigils/runes than you should have, which means you’re making gold that otherwise should not have entered the economy. In the past, that has been a bannable offense.

These sigils/runes are not worth too much individually, but all that extra gold adds up. I personally would buy some basic salvage kits and use them until this thing is resolved.

I am sorry but there is no way I am going to start buying kits because of this. I have been using the copper fed guy since it came out because I hate buying kits. They cannot ban from this it would be crazy. It is not an exploit to use something that you have had for months. I honestly think the change was intentional anyways.

It is not an exploit. I have been working on my magic find and using the copper fed salvage thing I do not fear being banned for that.

Well it’s not an exploit. I would have never noticed if it were not for the forums. I hope it was a nice change. I would use your salvage kit and be happy.

Just but some glue and stuffing from TP and craft 2 of the 3. I have 2 frames and 200 cogs left from last year so I also hope we can finish then but I don’t think so now that they are sold for Gems meaning less profit for NCSOFT if they gave us cogs again.

I’m at exactly same spot as you, 2 frames and 200 cogs.
I hope that Anet make the cogs available, that way people that got all that stuff last year will be able to finish the minis/tonics and at same time the new players will only be able to get the minis from the box.

If not you can always make an endless tonic with them.

No, the kit rarity makes absolutely no difference to the amount of luck you receive, so luck has not changed.

This goes directly against what Anet said when luck came out. If it’s actually true or not, that I’m not sure.

Actually they said the kit quality did not make a difference on luck at all.

Yes, you will be able to craft more minis. Holiday events do not change from year to year (mostly), so everything that was available @ last Wintersday will be available this time as well.

Would not count on this. Halloween recipes where changed and the vendor for temporary Halloween weapons was gone. The minis are being used as a reward for the meta (1 mini) You can buy the glue and stuffing from the tp and make the mini now. I made all of mine that I had cogs for just in case.

I am not hopeful they will. The reward says we get to chose a mini and they are the ones from last year. I would buy the stuffing and glue from the tp and make them now considering they have discontinued mf recipes in the past.

I plan on only gearing 1 and making it celestial. It is just too expensive to have multiple sets for multiple builds.

Also every ls achievement- except this fractal one- has had some kind of cosmetic reward or a mini.. that is a reward for in game every 2 weeks some have had more than 1 thing you can earn. I think it has been a fairly good mix although I would like to see a new armor set that can be earned in game through a new dungeon or something.

Also to point out.. they have given gem buyers gifts in the past and people where upset because they did not know the time frame to qualify.. they have sent out emails and posted the exact dates to buy gems and the exact reward so anyone interested in it can get it. Honestly I hope this is a trend that continues.

You know people paid like 600 bucks for that mini outside the game? I think it is a great decision on their part to give those that really want the mini a way to get it.

I really really hope so.. I am so excited that it could be a wardrobe!

I have a ton of stuff but scared to sell until they make all the crafting professions 500.. then I will maybe sell. They have a way of using stuff that I thought I would never need.

I actually really like the pve masquerade skin and would be ok with it as the flamekissed. There are really just a handful that I would hate.. and crossing my fingers it is not one of those!

Most people who use t3 will have transmuted to an exotic so you won’t get your t3 skins back even if you use a splitter.

So here is my concern. I bought the skin it is on my character, am I going to have to delete it if I don’t like the new skin? I have celestial armor with traveler runes.. not something I really want to delete and have to replace.

So I don’t get it. I go to the areas with the cogs thinking that is where I should be. Finally figure out after 2 deaths (1 in each room) to go to the skull. Kill the ooze (experiment 9 or whatever) and pick up a cooling core- No idea what to do with this just figure I should hold on to it. Place the cooling rod in an area-I guess it is the right spot because it tells me I need more. Now no idea where to find more cooling rods. I am sorry am I missing something here? I have never had such a hard time figuring out what the hell I am suppose to do to progress. I certainly hope it is just something obvious that I overlooked. Could someone please enlighten me? Shouldn’t there be something directing you in there!?
