I play L4D2/TF2/Source games and have different mouse sensitivity in-game saved. Not sure what FPS game you are playing, but most of them have the ability to adjust it.

Alternatively, depending on what mouse software/hardware you have you can setup different profiles too.

Sounds like your graphic card is overheating/dying, to start check its temperature
(See Part 4.1 for tools) Example HwINFO will let you monitor many aspects of your hardware such as checking the temperature of the GPU.

Specifically what parts don’t you understand? Be more specific. Going to have to try things until you find the cause.

try changing the keybind for screenshots in mouse/keyboard options.

use a different key than printscreen.

Sounds like latency issues. What is your ping time? (See Part 7.9)

Your game advisor shows you are connecting fine with the GW2 Servers.

But, you have a ATI Radeon 2100 as your graphic card.

Unfortunately, that card is way below the minimum requirements for GW2. LIkely the reason why the installer closes after 10 MB download.

do you ever use Roll for Initiative instead of infiltrator’s signet? they both return the same initiative back but you get extra stun break instead of shadow step.

Im leaning towards lag atm. I would see the stomp flag animation hit empty ground from a distance, but sometimes I still get nailed.

In downstate I would shadow escape as far a possible away to avoid being stompped. Sometimes I still get stompped even when the animation completes far away. Just really bad lag difference or buggy at times?

Seems like you talking about two separate issue. Network lag & graphical lag.

So you have connection issues using wired connection which was resolved by using wireless? But then in events you get graphical lag?

• gw2.dat file in Guild Wars 2 folder is basically the entire game compressed into a single file. You can just delete that or try doing a -repair command (See Part 1.1)

• C:\Users\{username}\AppData\Local is the temp location GW2 uses if it does when installing.
• Where did you copy your “Guild Wars 2” folder to, might need to check permission
• Move the game folder to the root directory or another drive
• Run as admin
• Delete your local.dat

this small case looks cool if you want semi-portable desktop.

It’s pretty sad and shameful that the manufacturer marketed the OP’s computer as a “Gaming PC”. It uses a GT 610 which is a budget low end media card.

try underclocking the videocard (See Part 7.3 for more troubleshooting and 5.1 for tools)

check the folder/file permission where the local.dat file is stored.

you can also try deleting the file which restores all your settings to default

if you still move your cursor with blackscreen could be network related. Disable SPI might help

You didn’t list what settings and where you are measuring fps.

Read Part 4.1 of this thread, would likely answer all your concerns

Getting a better GPU in your case won’t improve FPS in WvWvW or Cities. (See Part 4.13)

50% load can be misleading, its actually average load and doesn’t mean it can’t be 100% during short bursts. (See Part 4.3 for details)

Deleting your local.dat file will reset things to default. Try that.

game files isn’t stored in one server/location, its spread out through multiple places/cdn as caches so you might be using one that is slower. Changing DNS works for some people better than others (See 3.5 & 3.13 for more info)

Since you been able to install it on another PC, you can just copy the gw2.dat file over.

Try deleting your Local.dat file
