Guard+War couldn’t really “override” the mechanics in that dungeon.
DPS is important to killing fast indeed, but DPS is completely useless if you die within a few seconds.
What about giving a premium to zerker warriors?
they certainly need that…..
And what makes you think that zerker warriors would be the best way to kill the bosses fast?
Spending half a fight dead would not really kill the boss fast
And it would be devastating and probably not solve anything.
How many people would follow a completely unknown commander into battle?
How many people much would trust a server that they might have fought at some time in the past?
How many people would be happy with hour long queues because the WvW player-base suddenly doubled?
The patch notes are not released until a few hours before the patch. And when they are they will be linked in the launcher and also on their Facebook-page.

One of the main things with these sounds are however the fact that they usually means something.
If you put them on 10 minutes CD you might miss stuff unless you pay close attention to everything on the screen.

Dwarves, Bloodstones…and other things.Just to name a few of the things left hanging. I know not all of them will get addressed and some like the dwarves makes sense when / if we face Primordus.
As a long time GW 1 player, I would like at sometime to get a bit more information on some of these things.
The Mursaat and Seers are actually mentioned quiet a bit in the game (Arah Explorable).
There are also hints that the Mursaat is behind certain stuff happening in the area around Divinity’s Reach.
Scepter of Orr and Livia is indeed something that would be interesting to find out more about.
The Dwarves and bloodstones are all talked about quite a bit (again in Arah Explorable, and a Dwarf is introduced quite a bit earlier in the Priory Storyline)
I’d like to know if each time the living story returns that the items you can acquire through them only also return, like all of them. It’d be rather disappointing to miss out on things like the fervid censor or other “achievement only” items.
I doubt most living story will return at all, especially the open world stuff.
Wait, what? Where does it, in any way or form, say that you need the book to complete the scavenger hunt?
Possibly the clues, but then again those clues will most likely be up on the wiki about 3 hours or something after the release of the patch, and it would most likely also be very possible to find them without the clues whatsoever (I have already found 2 I believe)

Please guys if the game had not to be translated in your language, you problably do the same thing.
Indeed, but they would need people, and people cost money and takes time. They would also need to rehire said people every month (or have them on standby, costing money) in order to translate every single new release.
I am Swede, I am rather sure that the game is not available in Swedish (neither the text or the voice-overs) and I wouldn’t even touch those options even if I had the choice.
That would punish new players that missed out on “Living Story” achievements.
Only if the threshold were so high that you NEEDED the Living Story points in order to get past it.
Guild Wars 1 was completely go out in Italian. They have the experts
GW1 have way less spoken dialogue though (and most likely less text as well) and it is quite likely that the people that translated it weren’t actually part of the company but rather people that were hired specifically for translation.

By chest do you mean the one that pops up at the same place as the daily or the in world chest. The pop up chest is once per day, per event, per account.

Sure but this is not a waste of money.
A lot of player is waiting for a traduction for play GW2.
It is a waste of money, since people that are requesting the translation is already playing the game, and therefore it would most likely cost more than they would gain from doing the translation.
Even if they managed to get some more people into the game because of a translation, it is quite unlikely that the amount of people that would join would generate enough income to cover the costs of translating millions of lines of text (and most likely requires hiring completely new people as well, since I doubt they currently have an Italian expert on the team.)
Ours italian modders made an amatorial traduction of the game (Text).
They didn’t ask for money, but NCSoft don’t want to put that in the game.

- Cantha didn’t have any contact with other cultures and civilizations for over 250 years. If they were to have the same military technology with the Charr, they would at least have some contact with the Charr.
- Cantha is loosely based and inspired by many east Asian cultures. The Charr is mostly inspired by Roman military structure and the Industrial Revolution. ArenaNet don’t make exactly replicas of real life cultures, but they based and inspired by them
We have no idea about how much contact Cantha have had with other cultures since GW1. As far as we know there are several other cultures around that we do not actually know of yet, that have been in contact with Cantha.
Something being based and inspired by something != will play out the exact same way.
I asked for text not for voices, and we have a lot of funs who translate it.
The italian comunity is more bigger then you except.
The problem is why arena.net don’t want to put the fun traduction in the game.
Example, Neverwinter Online get out the 20th of june and the 27th the traduction in 6 languages will be released. (It is a free to play too).

Because they won’t translate text without voice-overs. Especially since much of the game is voiced. Sure, you might not be asking for voice-overs, but what about another italian player? Maybe he wouldn’t want to feel like a “sub-standard” player by not having his game voice in the same language as the text.
The italian community might be big. But so is the Scandinavian (and that is 5 different languages there), the greek, the Asian (and that is quite a bit of languages there) and so on.
The italian community IS a minority in the game, and it is highly unlikely that NCSoft would spend the rather high amount of money needed to translate the game for them, since that would also force them to translate it for every other country that plays as well.
More so utterly disappointed with Arenanet, that they are employing what is basically some of the worst free to play cash shop mmo practices.

We KNOW that there are six dragons and it is POSSIBLE that there are more.
Alacrity controls the speed at which the #1 abilities fire off. Surely we can have a well balanced system on gear for increasing the firing speeds of skills. This would improve overall the weapons that are really horrendous at firing speeds. (pistols, longbows, etc).
So basically “forcing” everyone to get a specific set because they would more or less need this very stat in order to stand a chance against other people having this stat?
Yes, yes of course it’s the players fault that there is a mechanic that allows you to literally throw away cash for nothing of worth or value.

Because that is basically what you are saying. You are trying to remove all fault from the player/buyer and put it on the game/seller, which is quite silly.
The game is not forcing you to buy Coffers, you choose to do it, so how could it be the games fault?
Less RNG or more encouraging one (0.0000000001% to get ticket is demotivating…).
Good thing there is not a single thing in the game with that low drop-rate then.
The ones from the gem store seems to have about 1,3% chance of dropping while the others seems to be closer to 1,0%.
None of those (even if they are most likely not exact) is even close to 0.0000000001%. If they were, there would basically be more or less 0 Jade Weapons in the game.
Because then they would also have to add voice-overs in Italian and that would cost quite a bit of money.
Another thing to keep in mind is that it is a very small language and the only people that would actually get something out of it would be a very small minority of the players.

The only thing we know is that he worked on one of the EARLIER Living Story arches, but at the same time we also know that the living story teams change with every part of the living story, so it is fully possible that he no longer works on living story.
Hmm? I am quite sure that there were quite a bit of refugees in both Hoelbrek and the Black Citadel during F&F.
I would say one of the main reason much is focused around Lion’s Arch is because it is more or less the center of the map, and it is “neutral ground”.
If they had events focused on The Grove people would complain about the Sylvari getting more focus than the others (as in personal story), if they focused on Rata Sum people would complain about the game focusing to much on Asura and so on.
Both strategically and game-play-wise attacking Lion’s Arch is logical.

Legendaries will never become better than the best weapon tier. Simply because grinding for a looooong time should not be required to be strongest.
You can’t really blame him for calling bs on developers tooting their horns and then pulling the veil over our eyes like they never said it originally. Truth be told it’s really bad PR to do this because it show they have lied before and will lie again because everyone just shrugs their shoulders and go “well maybe they haven’t gotten round to it”. Common sense says you shouldn’t make promises you had no intention on keeping.

I listen to every single interview before and after release. And they did indeed say some stuff back then that is currently not in the game.
And since people are like you and shout and complain about stuff not being exactly like you wanted it to be they have simply stopped telling us stuff like that at all.
Is this event going to be solo-able?? or another group hug?— not that it makes TOOO much difference, but I “usually” play solo, adding my character’s assist where found and needed.

Hydra queen: out since day one, just added achievement
Moa Racing: exact same thing as the cow racing that has been disabled for months in diessa
Custom Brawl: There are non-cashshop tonics that allows you to custome brawl as well.
New mini dungeons: no, they were actually new.

People pretend that there have been more or less no releases and therefore no one is working on the game.
Everything listed there is quite clearly something that someone have worked on since release. Even if some of it is not there anymore.
And just because YOU don’t like something doesn’t mean that it did not require work, or weren’t released.
How big is the Arena net team? Because if these small festival events are all they can produce with about 6-7 months I’m worried for the future of the game. Seriously, is Dragon Bash the combined effort of the entire team? Or 4-5 members? I’d hope it was the latter, I can’t imagine it was that hard to create the event. Seeing as a lot is copy and paste, even the flying dragon is a copy of the shatterer flying through the skies in the charr areas… I’d like a statement from arena net promising that we will get better content than this boring, lame stuff. Sorry to sound like an kitten but it’s not great.

The hotfix will correctly set the meta achievement requirement for The Dragon Bash Experience to 8. And players who complete 8 of the required achievements will be rewarded the Holographic Shattered Dragon Wings skin.

Her personality doesn’t match her face, her voice doesn’t match her face.. I give her credit for being one of the rare NPC female humans that has a decently sensible fantasy armor.. but aside from that I feel that everything isn’t ‘right’.
