There are groups that have done it, so clearly it is very possible. Sounds like you might need to learn to play the profession rather than a issue with grouping to be honest.

You might find it stupid, that does not however make it less true.

I have completed several explorable runs with full group of Mesmers.

Have friends that have done it with full group of Thieves and so on.
As long as everyone is good and know what to do it very possible to finish almost anything with any group-setup

It is true however.
It is very possible to do most if not all dungeons in the game with simply 5 of the same profession.
Be it Guardian, Mesmer, Warrior or Elementalist.

As a short bow user. This is a must.

I believe one of the random drops in the chests in higher levels of FotM does drop a exotic back item with Quiver skin. So you could transmute it ^^

Don’t really care about getting it infused. Rather get the stats for general game play and WvW.

But even what you said. 250 ectos and 5 of the mist essences is still way easier to acquire than 250 T6 materials.

But you don’t need 250 T6 materials in order to get yourself a Ascended Back item.
You don’t even need one.

So… craft one (MF) that does not require T6 materials?

So, lets say that a person responsible for PvP balance answers a AMA.
Do you really think he will be able to answer what they are going to do to the rewards in the Dungeons?

Or if you ask the Dungeon designer, do you think he would know exactly what they would do with PvP the coming months?

Of course they would want to know the questions before it starts. In order to actually check the answer.

What if they get 10 questions that they can’t answer because they don’t work in that part of the team? Would you prefer 10 “I can’t answer that”?

We will get better answers if they actually have time to get those answers.

I for one think the current time is rather good.

Technically it is not gear gated, seeing as you can do everything in the Dungeons without touching Ascended gear.
The higher levels are simply harder versions of those you have already done after all.

And the boss have to actually HIT you in order to effect you with Agony

Because if you could people would go for the 20+ levels in order to get the best loot and then whine about being killed by Agony (which you can combat by getting stuff from the earlier levels).

Might be a good idea to actually add the gemstone to the exotic backpack so that you actually get the correct value, seeing as the ascended have that one built in.

No, but the fact that NO ONE complained about it, I would say it is quite safe to assume most people don’t have anything against it, or at least can live with it.

Had a small chat about it in Lions Arch yesterday. First overflow then when server became available continued there.

No one did seem to have a problem with it.

And now you will probably shout about how those that don’t like it don’t play the game anymore, and that is fine.
But keep in mind that I was on overflow, which meant that my server had to be FULL in Lions Arch when I got there, and that does show there are rather many people still playing.

Stop standing in Lions Arch trying to find groups. Go to the actual area and finding groups should be quite easy.

As for making them more attractive they have stated several times that they are updating the old dungeons.

You are probably reading too much into it.
They used the same term (or at least the same meaning) about the Shadow of the Mad King content.

Well, it could very well be true.
Keep in mind that it is usually the same people spamming all the threads about how much Ascended gear sucks.

Those that are happy does not hang around on the forums most of the time and even if they do they might not spam all those threads.

I have seen almost as many: “I like this” or “I am okay with this” people as I have seen “This is worthless, ArenaNet lies!!” people. Which most likely would mean that the majority is actually happy or at least okay with it.

Probably not, seeing as Thanksgiving is a very limited area holiday, and it would be rather illogical for them to add a Thanksgiving addition if they don’t have special things for more or less all of these minor real life events.

I have yet to see a single commander get effected by this in WvW, and I have spent most of my time there.

Unless they keep going: “Run there!”, “Run there!”, “Run there!” all the time it should not effect them at all.

There will always be people that “can’t finish the monthly achievement”.
They are supposed to take most, if not all, of the month to complete, and they should involve every part of the game.

Going by this logic it would be much more annoying for people only wanting to play WvW, seeing as they can’t finish even half of the achievement.

There will always, no matter what they do, be people that would miss out.

Indeed, and every other MMO tend to have huge amount of spamming about gold-selling and other silly things in their big areas.

Sure, it is quite annoying to be effected by the system, but I would rather have that then seeing constant spamming about gold-selling and such.

Don’t post the same message over and over and over again.
That will be seen as spam by the system and they will stop coming messages.

Change the area should fix it.

It takes time.

They have to find out which characters took part of the event but didn’t manage to kill the boss or loot the chest (and not those that simply left the area without looting) and so on.

No, you need to read the email that was sent to you INGAME about the event and where to go.

Why are people only thinking about participating in events if they gain something from it?
Why not do it because the event itself is a reward?
