I wouldn’t really say it is much of a grind, based on what we have seen at least. It is plenty of work, sure. But it seems to be very little actual repetition and grinding.

That is correct. You will still be able to do the raids as many times as you want. You simply won’t get the special rewards for clearing it more than once per week.

You can still get the gold out, it will simply take some time (one month if you take out the max each week, not really all that bad).

Tank stats and heal specs have been in the game since release. It is nothing new in the slightest.

^ That is true for CERTAIN enemies. The agro system is different based on which foe you are facing.

I wasn’t specifically talking about the refund, but rather the statements in the OP about needing a dedicated healer.

We also have a BWE next weekend which will include both the Druid AND a raid encounter, so we will be able to see the content before release.

Lets wait until we actually see the content before assuming things, shall we?

Healing have been a thing since release. It is nothing new. Tanking on the other hand wouldn’t really work all that well in a game where the main way to survive is avoiding damage rather than soaking it up.

I know that someone else have bought the gems before. That doesn’t change the fact that people would be able to get it for free. The one getting it with gems haven’t paid anything for said gems after all (unless they bought them directly from ArenaNet).

Or maybe, just maybe, it wasn’t included because it was directly tied to the Human Gods and thus wouldn’t make all that much sense for any other race?

ArenaNet have never been anti-trinity. They have been anti-forced holy trinity, which is rather different.

Healers have been in the game since release. They have simply made them better latety.

We know that you love the holy trinity and want ArenaNet to put it into the game, but this is not a step towards that. It is simply them going forward with what they have been doing since release.

They have never had a no trinity philosophy.

They have had a no holy trinity or forced trinity philosophy.

And the fact that you can mention basically every class as giving healing, would very much suggest that it is still true.

Holy Trinity is a very specific thing.

Adding in a heavy healer does not make it a holy trinity.

They were available in all the core maps during the last BWE, it also seems rather unlikely that they would bother with a system that changes the rewards from events based on Expansion owning.

Actually based on what the trapped person said it very much sounds like it is very broken.
They have never said that it is unstartable, but if there are invisible holes and one hit kills everywhere it is very much broken.
