Rotscale was quite clearly a dragon.
Kuunavang as well.

Could actually fit rather well in with the “yearly” Fractal update if one is planned for this year ^^

Tough to tell if that’s Rytlock or a generic Charr. Given the strap around his (definitely a male charr) neck, I think it’s just a charr character.

It does have Rytlock-hair and horns though.

Because they Kraits were also effected by something and/or she promised them stuff that they really wanted/needed.
It is rather unlikely that she did tell them her endgame though.

To be fair we have way more “war between guilds” in Guild Wars 2 than we ever had in Guild Wars 1.

It is a warzone. It is suppose to be dangerous. The whole map is basically a group-event map.

Another thing to keep in mind is that you shouldn’t let those things hit you multiple times.

Personally I am a mesmer with exotic armor and I tend to survive quite well, if I avoid being hit and makes sure to not rush in without thinking.

I am fully aware of that. But claiming nothing came from them is quite clearly blatantly false, since there are changes made based on those discussions.

People also have to keep in mind that things takes time and might simply not work out the way the forum community wants them to work.

No. That was the Master of Peace.
Glint has been dead for years (she died in Edge of Destiny, which would be about 7 years ago).

The egg on the other hand was the last known egg of Glint.
Glint was a champion of an Elder Dragon (Kralkatorrik) which was freed by the Forgotten during the last rise. It also seems to be things to points towards Glint possibly becoming a successor of Kralkatorrik if/when it dies (will not happen since Glint is already dead).

We do not know why the egg is important yet, but it will probably become clear soon enough. Glint was one of humanities greatest allies back in the days, and her offspring might very well be useful to us (especially if it has a bunch of draconic magic.)

It should be active again now.

It was deactivated shortly after release due to people exploiting it to gain a huge amount of gold.

The commander changes ARE meaningful and they are a direct result of the CDIs.

It is indeed quite interesting that you miss stuff that most of the time didn’t actually exist in Guild Wars 1. The only real thing that existed in GW1 was factions.
Real conflicts were quite few and far between, and nothing on the scale of what we have in Guild Wars 2.

The war between the Guilds in Tyria happened before Guild Wars 1 even started.

Actually I would say that the CDIs for WvW are the ones that have (at this time) show most actual change ingame.

In-lore the WPs needs to be set-up and maintained. That is rather hard in a place where they are under constant attack and keeps changing hands multiple times per hour.

If you have connected your GW1 and GW2 accounts it should have the same password.

But where is that balance?
If they tell us a new zone is coming people will claim that is too much information. If they don’t they can’t really tell us more than they show in the teasers.

See, this is a great example of kitten if they do, kitten if they don’t.

They did have quite big previews for most of S1 (on the same level as the Chinese preview for the update coming today) and people complained about how it spoiled too much.

Now they have had less for a while and with every patch people have complained about how they tell us too little about it.

Then when the Chinese site released the same amount of info as ArenaNet did before (that people shout about them going back to) people raged like mad.

So no matter which way they go there will be complaints, so why one should they choose?

It was not even close to two years since we got the last map.

That aside, there seems to be new maps (and modes) in the works (quite recently several new names were datamined all which sounded like potential PvP-maps).

It takes time. Just creating a map isn’t that hard. But making sure it is balanced and actually works in a good way is.

And based on information coming from Camelot Unchained it appears to move more and more away from the original plan by adding quite a bit of PvE and such.

One could of course question HOW they could do it with the current setup.
The dialogue does not take place in cutscenes after all, but rather in the open world. Skipping such things in the open world might be very hard.

Isn’t that mainly the case when there simply aren’t any closely ranked people waiting in queue?

One could of course question if people would rather have to wait for 10+ minutes in order to even start a match?

Raging and abusing people won’t make them help you faster.

Update your ticket in a calm and polite way and if something has gone wrong, they will help you.

Would it really be that different if they had W1 and W2 turned back on? We would still have more or less the same thread but instead of: “Where is SAB?” It would be “Why don’t you ever release W3 and W4?”

And of course the risk that people simply grow tired of it when it has been in-game for a rather long time so they don’t even bother playing it when W3 is finally released and thus they would more or less have spent the time and resources on something that people wouldn’t play.

Oh, I agree. I do find it quite balanced.

But that is most likely due to the strict focus on balancing it around 5 people.
Adding 2v2 or 3v3 would either mean that it would be quite unbalanced in those modes or that they would try to balance around that as well, and due to that making the balancing worse overall.

People simply don’t seem to realize that adding more variables (such as new modes, new skills, new professions) does make balancing harder ^^

People already complain about how the game is not balanced.

Suddenly having to balancing it around both 2v2, 3v3 and 5v5 would make it more or less impossible.

No. I am simply saying that your premise for supporting the whole P2W argument is based on a situation that will never happen. Thus it isn’t really a problem, nor is it pay to win seeing as it won’t actually effect the actual outcome of actual fights.

Not all stolen accounts are from currently active players. In-fact it is much more likely that they use accounts that are quite inactive for such activities since that lessens the risk of the rightful owner reclaiming the account.

I think the reason people don’t post is simply because they can’t know.

Unless you are constantly in all borderlands and EB you can have no idea how many people are actively playing everyday.

I think that taking off these restrictions for players who have played for over 1 year would solve the problem. Either that, or keep it as an achievement chest reward. Might sound silly, but it fixes 2 issues at once. (Messaging problems, achievement chest rewards)

Except for the fact that it is quite possible for the gold-sellers to use veteran accounts that have been stolen and thus bypassing the restriction.

Officially there have only ever been those three books announced.
It is possible that others might come in the future, but as of right now there is no official information about it.

I think it is simply that people do have issues with fiction that actually gives women credit due to that not being “how it is supposed to be” in the western world currently.

No. I prefer that they work on other parts of the game rather than festivals. Especially since they made it rather clear that festivals will be more or less the same year after year.

Why could one question then?
Do they want gear and such to actually matter, since they prefer to do it in WvW (without the major part of Guild Lord)?
Is it actual GW1 GvG they want, as they always seems to claim, or is it something else?

I have never claimed that it was groundbreaking. I simply showed that it is fully possible to get almost an exact replica of the GvG mode from Guild Wars 1 in this game right now.

The fact remains that the game-mode itself can be more or less completely emulated, even though not everything around it would work the same.

It would be. IF everyone had the exact same gear, exact same skills, exact same traits and were exactly as good at playing.
That is NEVER the case, and as such the boosts are not enough to actually change the outcome of any actual fight.

And while people wait for GvG there is always the ability to create your own (that mimics GW1s version quite well).

1: Put score-limit on max (1000 points)
2: Put time-limit on max (30 minutes)
3: Put only Legacy of the Foefire in the queue
4: End the match when one team kills the other teams Guild Lord
5: GW1 GvG emulation complete.

There is probably a small currency that is on its own more or less useless however. Just like a cent.

It would indeed appear that the roof (and the vision) directly references the Dragons. It is also the first time we got anything that references the actual name of Bubbles ^^
