How about just removing swamp for 51+? That would fix the swamp rolling problem.

Reward system in 51-100 is a joke. The end chest reward for each fractal is bad. No wonder people only do swamp.
Anet should have reiterated like the 2 others steps.
Add two dailies with really good loot chances for an ascended chest possibility (10% not less) & good monetary value.
One for a random fractal between 51 and 75, the other for a random fractal between 76 and 100.
Hide the 51-75 behind fractal mastery lvl 3 & 76-100 behind fractal mastery lvl 4.
Now we have an incentitive to play something else that swamp all the time.
PS: fix that spot in mossman swamp.

It’s a shame that people think this gem store is so bad. Cause you know, it’s really not.

The problem with it is that the game have so many bug that people are frustrated when they see stuff added toward the gemshop while many other things are broken.
Granted: the team in charge of the Gem stuff & the other content are probably not linked but this gave a sense of wrong priority/focus from Anet.

You get a stupid amount of them for just killing things. Sure there’s other ways but killing is the most effective. Each nuhoch bag can contain anywhere from 5-150 ley line crystals.
I haven’t had to farm the meta’s and im sitting at around 5k ley line crystals.
THIS: get the Nuhoch 1 masteries.
You will gain currency map for Verdant, auric bassin & Tangled Depth by killing mob.
One bag will give you between 5 to 150 tokens. Chak coming in really large wave, you gain a ton of bags.
During the meta, if the map is successfull in forcing the gerent to emerge (& you have enough participation); it is 75 for meta starting, +45 for event +75 for meta ending.

Vials drop in 1-30, globs in 31-49, and shards in 50+ only
The thing is that vials & globs also drops in 50+ which is dumb.
I agree. Guilds fund the leveling of the scribe and it’s primarily used for making things for guilds (and just a few legendary-related items). However, I haven’t seen a lot of support for the idea. :/

I leveled my scribe to 400 alone; it took me a good amount of money & time.
Most(literally all) of what I crafted went to Guild furniture: vault access, WB event, banners, decoration…..
I would agree with having the scribing becoming guild wide if all materials used to craft the basic thing in scribe were made guild bound.
By those I mean mainly resonnating sliver (pigment pouch also) not being sellable on Trading post.

When an item is sellable for almost 1 gold on Trading Post and you can possibly make 10 of them because of a guild mission: I doubt that most guild members will think twice between selling them & give them to the guild.

Flax is less of a problem to me because usually most of my guildies are usually playing in the HoT maps. So there is a regular supply of flax.
But as sand is only available in SW; this result in the neccesity to buy it all on Trading post as I don’t have a lot of guildie playing there.

You are just making excuse there: the event is very simple & scales fairly well.
In the Case of Farens Waypoint in VB this is extra anoyuing because it is both a cental point and a high point. You have to navigate quite a bit of land to actually get back into the fight.
Or you can do the event to unlock it.

Yea, I also believe that if you want to max out the masteries, you need all the mastery points from adventures aswel. I have all strongbox and regular mastery points, and it is nowhere near to being enough for maxing out the HoT mastery lines.
I’m kind of alright getting silver, but gold from all… some really looks impossible atm.

I haven’t completed all adventure on gold & I am lvl 161 with 4 unspended points in maguuma.
Please add some filter in the collection & achievement tab.
A “not completed” filter to be exact because I do not really care about those that I already did.
Plus those are always at the top of the list.
This forces me to scroll down all the way every time I want to check something.
To be clear : Tier completion & Total completion displays almost the same things as once a collection is completed: it just go up in the list no matter what.

I’ve done this one solo and also in big groups. the key here isn’t just killing all the Chak, but keeping them away from the larvae by getting rid of the closest ones.

I have the 9 class with full spe/stuff/ almost exploration, etc…..
I NEVER plays these character in WvW because of gear swapping/build/etc…..
Instead I make an alt that own a WvW gear & I only play these in WvW.
That’s my choice & until now; it’s was perfectly fine but not anymore.
I have 4 soon 5 of these toons; But Anet decided to screw me over with how I up these character because “I need to learn AGAIN how to play them”.

So I just reached scribe level 400.
I’m trying to acquire the recipe for the Uzolan orchestra.

While leveling scribing, I saw that there may have an error in the pigment used in the crafting recipe of the various ink set.

Yellow is used twice while green is unused. Anything else is used at least once.

To me this seems like a bug. I can loot the chest with any of my characters, and even guests in my home instance can loot the chest. And I can loot the chest in friends’ home instances. So your situation is definitely not how it should work. I would put in a ticket.

That never worked for me.
Everyone that tried had a message “no you can’t open that”.
What is going on there ?
The first 3 are rewards for a collection, and are themselves part of another collection. One of the iterations of the order backpacks I believe. They’re unsalvageable to protect us from destroying things we might still want later.
I actually finished the 3 Order armor/weapon collections just so I could salvage the amulets.
Problem is they can know that you have actually finished the collection(thank to the achievement), so having to keep the item is a nonsense.
Plus, you can still destroy these amulet so why preventing people from salvaging them ?
I love the map verticality & I adore tangled depth.
Thank you Anet for these 4 new map.
The old Tyrian map are boring as hell now.
Please enable gliding in Old tyria too.

Squad are amazing but they seems to lack the finishing touch in some area.
Looking For Party :
– You can’t post a squad in the LFP. In case of raid squad, a member of the squad will leave, post the lfp & wait for someone. For meta-event, usually the squad leader will untag & start taxiing people.
- You can’t join a squad by contextual menu. you are either forced to see the squad leader or goes with command.
Targeting :
Anyone in the squad can choose a target. As a squad leader, I would like to be able to restrain that to me or give access to everyone.
Squad leader disconnect. If a squad leader get disconnected, he is kicked from the squad.
Squad leader should also be able to remove his tag & stay in the squad without being forced to choose another squad leader.

No thanks: I hate that new size.
So in order to obtain crystalline ore , you must:
– find a good/fresh Dragon stand map with 3 commander
– do a 40 minutes minimum chain events.
– beat an elder dragon.
Then go on an hunt for noxious pod:
– that are in zone infested with high damage mob (hello veteran smokescale & legendary wyvern).
– with player that only care about their own loot. If you are taken in the trail of mob that they are aggroing too bad for you.
– with a time limit of 14 minutes.
– while they migth disappear in front of you.
– with a random chance to actually get something.
Minimum amount for something on post meta DS vendor : 50 crystalline ore.
Obviously this is not skippable if you don’t like it, because a lot of thing use this as money (lot of guild stuff, futur legendary, collection).
So if you hate doing it, you just cut a big chunk out of the expansion.

Just because there’s a category for it doesn’t mean people will use it. I’ve seen alot of FotM posts in open world lately – despite there being a FotM section already.
I think they should force people in a section based on the map they are on.
Currently no matter what you end up in open world.
If a group is in a meta map: force the LFG in the meta map.
If they are in lion arch/fractal: force it in FOTM
If they are in asca: force it in dungeon section.
& so on.
Oh yes one hundred time this. This new trend is getting ridiculous already.

This one is a bug; when zildi assist-o-Matic apperas he is at the ley line convergence tunnel entry.
i actually got one instance where he doesn’t bug: he is supposed to run from where you kill the chak lobber & free him, dropping data cristal until he reach rata novus entry.

Event :

After escorting the Nuoch Lore master, the event of the Great Skelk regurgitant appears but the boss is invulnerable & doesn’t move.
During the SCAR event at the mordrem migration phase sometime if the scrap cannon is destroyed, the NPC will keep repairing it; blocking the event.
I agree with this change.
Mordremoth: (Get ready, there’s a lot of problems)
-Upon restarting, Mordremoth retains all abilities from previous attempts. This is a MAJOR problem given how much HP he has and how long the fight is meant to take.
-Upon restarting, the ledge that contains the first two rifts sometimes fails to respawn, making the attempt impossible.
-The ledge that contains the third rift has texture bugs that make it impossible to tell where it ends and a deadly drop begins.
-Updrafts sometimes fail to launch the character into the air, especially after getting hit by a rock (even if the character landed nowhere near said updraft)
-Updrafts sometimes fail to spawn during Mordremoth’s massive attack.
-Blighted Marjory occasionally teleports around the arena at random. Unsure if this is intended or not. (I know with Mordremoth it is)
I can add one; I experienced all that & managed to bring him at 10% life (I was soloing it).
Mordy launched the big attack & then proceed to make the big windy AOE during it.
As you can’t come trough even with stab (that you can’t even launch while in glider, so me): I took damage & fell on the ground. Dead.
I threw my mug after that one in frustation.
Please Anet debug that Boss; It’s infuriating.

Pretty much the title: my treasure hunter chest (rare collection) is gone from my personnal instance since one of the patch from HoT.
