My mesmer would be amazed to be able of keeping up so many clones… 3 is too few xD
Yeah, nothing changed or got even worse. :S Also there is even a long thread about this: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Inventory-Window-changing-size-alone/
I also recall a few moments where he says like “you should KNEEL. Wait, did I say Mad King say? No!” and for me it’s not a bug, just another way to fool inattentive players. Also, from what I recall it never “killed” players for doing it at wrong moment. It just knocked down and took almost the whole health but never an instant death.
It’s a Sticky in Account Issues, namely, ‘Tickets for Review, 3 Days and Older’.
Thanks, that’s the one I was talking about. I just didn’t know where it was because I saw it through a link in a post.
Hmm, that’s odd. I run in windowed mode and I haven’t had such issue. About responses to tickets, how long has you submitted them? There is a thread where you can talk about not answered tickets and stuff, but... *stares at search box* ...I can’t find it right now. I’ll update this post if I find it.
And this thread is going to be buried on depths of forums again… :P Btw, can someone confirm if the fixed bugs mentioned on patch notes were really solved?
That page says about the Guild Wars (1) forum. Not sure if this one uses the same system and I don’t know how forums for Guild Wars 1 was before.
Edit: nevermind, I believe it uses that system yes. The page even uses a cookie called “fangamer_core”.

Yes, I always thought it weird that some items are classified as Trophy. At beginning I got used to see Trophy as those junk items but then later I realized it wasn’t always true. In fact, the definition for Trophy, Salvageable and Crafting material items has been a bit confused for a while (or maybe since release).
Not sure if I got what’s the purpose of this but naming or shamming (or whatever are the terms) other players in forums isn’t allowed. If someone is abusing in some way (verbal abuse, exploit, or any other) you better report them using in-game tools. What’s even curious is the name and guild name of the guy in the pic… O.o
I haven’t had any issues like freezing while using TP, maybe it’s something at your end. You could try to repair your game client and see if it solves the issue. Instructions about that can be found here: https://help.guildwars2.com/entries/28148006-Repairing-the-Game-Client
Yeah I have noted it too. Once I tried to use [sup]superscript[/sup] but it failed. Once I tried to use
pre and it failed too
.
It would be nice if we really had all options mentioned in the FAQ.

Hehe. Well, despite it being funny to see map glitches and going out of map bounds I don’t see a reason for making this thread. The vid doesn’t show any bug or how anyone found a glitch on map to get out of bounds. The only thing I see is you guys fooling ppl on map chat telling about a boss on the bottom of map.
If it was meant to show there is a glitch that can take players to out of map bounds it could be better to show where it is. There is even a thread for map glitches and stuff. I don’t mean to be annoying or anything (I even think the vid funny), I just don’t see what it has to do with Game Bugs forum.
Logic has gotten denied lately :P
Hmm well, since it doesn’t seem to be a common issue it may be something at your end maybe. :S In this case, maybe you better to try a more individualized response through Customer Support ticket. Good luck.
I don’t have a screen shot but on multiple occasions I’ve been approaching a harvesting node and seen a persons name, but they appear to be underground under the node. As I get closer, the name disappears and I can’t find it again. Saw it again today and decided to check the forums. If I see it again, I’ll get a screen shot and post here.
This thread wouldn’t be the best place to post about that as it wouldn’t be a map design or art issue. In fact, it’s known that there are gathering bots that jumps between nodes and appears to be underground. In case you see any of them again you better report them using the in-game tool or, in any case, send an email to exploits@arena.net.
There is a thread where people were reporting these occurrences, but thanks to the working search I can’t it right now :P. I’ll update this post if I find it.
EDIT: Here you go: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/account/Bot-Hot-Spots/

Bad news: I’ve failed to convince you that I am NOT crazy.
Lol, no worry, at times it happens. Sometimes we may miss something or overlook others and the more we look, less we can understand what’s wrong. Glad to see it’s normal now.
I enjoyed progressing at my own pace not at the pace of those around me. (…) I like following the storylines but also enjoy advancing so that I could go back and explore the various realms at my leisure.
Agreed. This is the point.
I expect this to take some time they may be re-writing some of the story. Voice acting and all may need to happen.
No! No re-write. No amendments in order to pretend that it makes some sense… I would prefer the old way back and re-adding the removed content. :/ Simple fix: revert it.
Just going out of map isn’t an abuse “per se”, it’s just like exploring glitches on map (some are funny at times). However, if such thing is used to go under map and then taking advantage of this in events, kills and such, then there can be abuse involved.
you are welcome About it being exploit or what not or if only a side can reach it or not, there have been a discussion about that in this thread: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Lunatic-Inquisition-Unreachable-Cliff/ No official word if it’s an exploit or not though.
The pit’s certainly broke, though. Of disabled, presumably because the concept of killing creatures in an arena might be too confusing to … meh, you know the drill.
Yeah, I believe the arena was purposely disabled due the (dumb) NPE… “Oh, it’s too confused and overwhelming for you to have dealing with it for now…” (Sarcasm self-test completed) :P
If you believe someone is using exploits or something, or you have found some type of exploit you also can report it through email to exploits@arena.net.
Hate to be a broken record, but I’d still love a response on where ANet is standing on this. The train’s moving on and I don’t want this to just become a talking point along with traits and Cantha.
Yeah, this thread hasn’t received responses and such for some time now.
Probably it will be removed as all Trading Post NPCs in starter zones got removed with the changes for NPE.
Possibly this is back https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Magic-Find-in-Hero-dialog/ ?
It’s curious how they have recycled stuff for this release. It seems only rewards and achievements have something new. Story is exactly the same, that even Tassi’s first speech mentions about Dragon Bash (which didn’t happen this year).
About a wiki page, not sure if someone would create one since the most of the contents there still applies to current release. Maybe it will be updated or something. Anyhow, I haven’t completed that achievement yet and I’ll post back here if it happens to me too.
Yeah, like I said, there are numerous other threads in this forum. And I can’t really think of a more important, more basic issue than proper targeting in a game revolving around combat. Can you? So where’s the acknowledgement and the bug fix?
Yeah, it’s the most basic thing for playing this game. It’s the basic foundation of the main game mechanic.
Also, I just wanted to mention that thread as it’s one that has had most visibility lately, even though no dev responses there :/
In fact, targeting has never been working as it really should… there is already a long thread about it: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/support/bugs/Targeting-Still-Broken-Please-Fix-It/
Yes, Trading Post were removed from starter areas with the (dumb) changes for the NPE. An example is Plains of Ashford where not only TP but merchant and repair NPCs were removed too (btw, this one became weird now. There are NPCs there that keeps talking to the removed NPCs but they aren’t there anymore. Those NPCs are just talking to nobody now). And yes, nothing was announced about removing them, ppl just figured out when the patch went live.
A good thing to do is comparing that list on http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/User:Bluestone/Explorer with world map. Just check each name in that list with those showing on your map. The list even shows it in order, from top-left to bottom-right.
That was how I found a missing area at Orr a few days ago. I looked at the list and then back at world map to see if it was visible there, and then I found one in the list that I couldn’t find in the world map and “tada”, there it was.
First the runes now the entire NPC …
As for “which server?”. Which IP would be more useful.
You can get that with /ip
Hehe true, with this about megaservers knowing the IP would be more helpful. I just mentioned that because it would help to know if it’s NA or EU servers then a bit easier to track down the issue.
Good to hear you have found what’s missing. It has been a while since I had been there so I can’t recall how to get that place discovered. Just keep trying and you may get it at some point. This may not be useful but who knows then here is more info about that area http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Flooded_Castavall (probably you have checked this).
That’s a common case that happens to everyone, as already said there are areas with no things to do (like pois, wps, jps, etc..) but that are discoverable and counts toward that achievement. An advice I could give (that also happened to me) is looking intently your world map for any blurred areas, mainly map corners and then going there and walking around a bit. You will occasionally find the missing area.
You could try checking the commonly missed places listed here: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/Explorer#Commonly_missed_areas
Also, you can use a checklist of all areas here: http://wiki.guildwars2.com/wiki/User:Bluestone/Explorer
Suspect it’s no bug but another New Player Experience change to pander to their new low IQ target demographic.
Oh boy… :/
Yeah seems not all of them, just the first one I tried, my bad there. Still, mini Chickenado needs it’s sounds fixing.
No problem, it happens. And this one is one I can’t say about, I never had it and never saw anyone with it around me :/
Hmm I see, maybe I made a mistake with capitalization, hehe. Btw, is it permanent or does it stay that way only for the current session (until TP is closed)?
Could you tell what server were you? Maybe it’s just a buggy map and telling the server could help to track the issue. I had been at LA last night and around the crafting stations but I didn’t noted any missing NPC, but I can’t tell for sure as I wasn’t paying attention to them anyhow.
Dead zone is present in both standard and ‘Gnashblade’ modes.
Lol, a bit of topic though but could you tell how you do that “Gnashblade mode”? I have heard about it but I wasn’t been able to make it happen (even thought it could be a hoax) and now seeing your pic I see it’s real.
About the issue, I tell you I have stumbled across it a few times too but I never realized what it was. I just thought it was a glitch then I never gave any attention to it.
I don’t think it applies to all minis currently. Recently I noted some sounds while standing around and I realized the sounds were coming from my mini and my friend’s mini. We are used to used Mini Tybalt, Mini Rytlock, Mini Risen “something”, Mini Tequatl, Mini Evon Gnashblade, Mini Toxic Hybrid… anyhow, all these has been having sounds as far as I recall and all them have been added to wardrobe.
Possibly this will allow access to it again:
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a bug with the rewards in the story “Resealing the Bloody Prince” in preparation for allowing access to the instance.
Bug Fixes:
- Fixed a bug on the Trading Post where players were unable to buy multiples of an item at different prices.
About Awesomium, I believe it’s no longer used after the overhaul they did to the TP. But I may be wrong on this as I’m not sure and it seems it uses a different app now.
You almost said it right.
Let’s see what the Guild Wars 2 Wiki itself says about them:
A bug is an error (in performance) or a flaw (in design) in a game which prevents it from working as intended. This includes things such as graphical glitches, incorrect processing of player input, or other features not working properly.
An exploit is the misuse of a software feature or bug in a way that allows a player to generate in-game benefits without the risk or time expected by the game’s designers. It can involve the use of a third-party program and it includes generating currency, experience, or other things of value to players. It also includes actions that allow one player to gain a gameplay advantage over other players.
So yes, they are technically related but aren’t the same thing. Also, if you wish a more direct and personalized response from a dev you can try to submit a ticket through Customer Service (Services > Support > Submit a request [at the top right]). Also forums are also meant for players to help others, not only for devs.
Are you a moderator? Would you mind showing me where is the rule that says I can’t talk about a game bug the in the “Game Bugs” section of the forums? I don’t see anything like this here https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/rules
Also I have not posted ss or anything harassing or accusing an specific user or player. It is just a general post showing a bug on the game bugs section.
No, I’m not a moderator and I didn’t say you cannot post about game bugs, after all this forum area is meant for that. What I said was you cannot post about exploits and even a moderator said so in thread.
Thanks to the “working” search I can’t find the mentioned thread. I’ll edit this if I find it.
If you believe or see people using exploits the best way is reporting it though email to exploits@arena.net. Reporting exploits through forums isn’t recommended neither allowed, it’s against the rules actually.
Well, it’s seems that’s how they do stuff now… It’s like “we thought the currency exchange was too confused for you to deal with, let’s us pick up a value for you.”
Again, streamlining or simplifying thingsdoesn’t mean dumbing down stuff, that’s insulting… -_-
And it still not fixed, checked just now.
:/ I suspected that…
