I am posting this on my sons account as I guess when you are banned for one reason or another you are not even allowed to login and post. My account was just banned (terminated) with no explination other than it says I abused an ingame exploit. I got no email explaining what exploit I had abused, just a noticed my account was terminated when I tried to log in. I can not for the life of me think of any in game exploit I used justify the ban. How is someone suppose to defend themselves when no details are given about the ban.

The things that go through my mind.

Did I get banned for buying to many gems on the gemstore and trading them for gold?
Did I get banned for killing some mob that may have been bugged?
Did I get banned for crafting yellows and oranges and breaking them down for Globs of Ectos?
DId I get banned for ……………………………………. I have not a sigle clue other than my account is now been terminated and I can no longer log in.

Probably number 3.

They just did some mass bannings of people that were making snowflake jewlrey for one ecto and salvaging them to get 3 back.

If your on an authorized network it won’t ask for the authenticator key.

The amount of loot that drops for downscaled players has been increased. You should now be able to receive level-equivalent loot until you are fighting at a downscaled level that is less than 2/3 of your actual level. You should also receive loot a greater percentage of the time as well as receiving a greater percentage of experience, gold, and karma. For level 80 characters, this means level 55+ areas will be able to drop level 80 gear and give about 75% or so of the other rewards. Previously, these areas would give level 77 gear at best and closer to 60% or so of your rewards.

Well if this string of issue continues without any resolvement. I forsee more similar incidents will come. Be it Guild Leaders, WvW Commanders, Friends, Family, Couple and Money Lenders.
Now that if i got my account back i wonder if we can send even materials to each other. It will become a ‘Risk’ to help one another.
For all i know, i will do anything to prevent history from repeating itself.

I don’t always lead dungeons, but when I do they are anti-zerg.

Why remove the xp cause people are cheeting and using bots in an instance. If someone is in there for 8+ hours it’s probably a good sign they are botting. Then you just have to look at the key inputs and ban them.

Or just make them not be an endless spawn.

Saw people complain about it so I figured I see how long it would take. Ran around FrostGorge for about two and a half hours. That is with out any boosts running, watching some TV here and there, and reporting a pack of the old school bots. I almost died around 480,000 do the a large pack of wolves that became a very large pack of wolves.

They could of made achievement a lot worse by actually making a death lock out the achievement all together.

I just wish it had a title that came with it.

And don’t ask for a refund with with your current account just so you can buy the new one with a hat. If you ask for a refund they don’t let you reactive that same account. You’ll have to start all over.

If the distance you covered from time1 to time2 is more than any distance you could cover with any boon you could ever get, and you did not used any spawn point, and it is happening often then you are using an hack.

So difficult.

Your forgeting about waypoints. With thosr you could travel any distance and depend on the scriping the hackes use it my be simialer to using waypoints

It’s not just the gear, but also those 70 skill points that make a difference. Your hitting harder, have more HP, and skills you wouldn’t normaly have at that point. Yeah it could use some tweeking, but any change to weaking a player would probably meet some high resistance and would just be called an other nerf.

This was in PvE so not sure it that matters, but was able to get the overkill achievement on my elemental using RTL on a knocked down enemy.

Add me to the list. Trading post quit working while on my lvl 80 elementalist so I logged of while in LA. Tried to log back in and got error code 42:5:7:1008:101 and it says I’m in bloodtide. I can log in with my other characters tho.

Yep those are the new breed of bots that are out. They are a bit harder to tag cause when they teleport away you loose the target on them. If you know there is one in you zone you can wait by a node for them to appere. Click on the quick and get the report window open before they teleport away. I just tagged 6 or so over in Caledon Forest.

well Jerry, Ossuary is impossible witout a group, I am posting this to say the stupid, stupid idea that everything in the game has to be “overwhemingly difficult” has just done it for me, I may never play this game again and will probably advise anyone who asks me that the game is is built for elite players who think dieing continually is fun. If I have to waste 2 hours a day looking for groups I don’t think I am having fun, and having FUN is what gaming is all about to me. If the game is only frustrating and maddening you might as well play something else.

Defiantly not impossible without group. Just soloed it on my elemental with no difficulty at all. Not even a single death
