The max amount of crafting licenses you can buy is 2(per character), so it would take at minimum of 2 characters to learn all 8 crafting professions…or 4 characters learning 2 each as you stated originally.

No you can switch between craft skill. You can just have only four active at one time.

It’s basically left over from before they made the lfg tool. When the game first came out you would stand in front of the dungeon with that over your head and people would invite you. Then we had a player create group finder website which people used too before the ingame tool.

The liklyness you’ll get on SoS is pretty low. It will stay full until someone transfers of it or Anet raises the cap. Really your best bet would be to pick a server that’s not full. You’ll be able to do all parts of the game except WvW. During the next turniment they may do free transfers to low and you and your friend can all transfer there.

I hope you have upped your detection methods. I’ve never been falsely hit with a RMT ban, but I know others have. I would suspect people to be really steamed to log on and find out the $200 gold there friend sent them was removed because it was flagged as a RMT.

Yeah if there were higher bid order you should report it as a bug, and maybe since it was a bug CS may return the item. Just make sure in the ticket they know it was a bug that caused it to sell so low.

You could try repairing your client. I ran CM just today with no issues.

On weapon swap does work for both eles and engineers. With else it triggers when you swap antunments and with engineers it’s when you swap kits. You can also trigger it when dropping a bundle item if you have the weapon equipped with that sigil.

Norn settle there problems with fists and beer.

Leveling in this game doesn’t make you strong to one shot stuff like other games. What makes you strong is learning how your skills interact with each other and other player skills. For example your war horn 5 is blast finisher so if an ele drops a fire field you can give might to five people.

What leveling does do is let you go to new areas.

The time really doesn’t matter. The population isn’t based on the number of accounts that are logged on but on how many people call that server home. The only way it will drop from full is if someone transfers of to another server or a net raise the server cap.

Also the server only matters if your trying to play WvW with friends. For pve all that matters is that your on the same region is NA or EU.

Yeah and queue system is horrible. Why in the world would I want to get a message servers are currently full. Estimated wait time 45 min.

I love there system when I get on to play I actually get to play, not sit in a question for half my play time.

When you tried downloading it did you uninstall it from the other drive.? Also what is the error you are getting?

I doubt the new hard drive has anything to do with it. I would make sure you didn’t bump any of the ram and make sure the video card is properly seated. It would help if we new the error.

If there is an event around or something you want to do and none is currently around you could just advertise on the lfg under open world. We all share the same page area now. NA and EU are split. Even at odd times you should find people. For WvW your best bet would be finding a WvW guild for your home server.

This might be interesting around this topic. Macros are generally only forbidden if they bring you an in-combat advantage, or allow you to bot your way through content. Otherwise, clicking a lot to play a musical instrument or say, open a lot of bags is in no way an advantage over other players, and thus should be fine.

Yes they have allowed mutiable action macros for instrument playing but auto clickers for bags are still a no-no.

Being able to swing constanly would give an advantige over people. Also there are acivments which having a repeat key setup would give an advantage

As long as you keep it one key press one action you fine. Now if you set it up to hold done the button and keep swinging that is not allowed because that is a repeatable action.

When I play my engenier I have my one skill set to left ckilck and toss grenades like crazy.

You could also look at getting a pretty paid visa. They can be reloaded with cash and then used online to by gems

If you have the bag space and karma you can find a heart vendor then sells low level light gear. Perferberly gloves. Throw four into the mystic forge for one that you can salveg into scraps.

World boss train will get you some gold too. Your garentied one rare from each once a day. Check the trading post. If it sells for more then 40 silver sell it otherwise salvage it hoping to get ectos to sell.

My ping and FPS seems fine. The shouts I believe are coming from other people on the map

As far as I can tell it’s a problem with the range. If someone uses a shout on one side of the map it can be heard all the way on the other.

Well you’ll never have to worry about queing to get into the game. When it says full that accounts for the number of accounts that call that server home, not the number of players logged in.

Also what lvl are you. Depending on when you left traits have changed. They now unlock at lvl 30 and are earned out on the map. You can still buy individual ones for gold and skill points from trainers.

For gathering tools yes you do need better one as you go up. As long as you by the one that meets your character lvl you’ll be fine.

As for salvage kit the better the kit the better change to get a higher tier of material and a higher chance to get the rune/sigil. For anything green or under basic is fine. For rares you’d want master and exotic if you want a 100% chance for the rune/sigil you’d use a BL kit.

For the most part. You can’t salvage gear bought with karma or badge. Plus anything you get as a lvl up reward can not be salvaged.

Just to add that ring it puts around you is also a smoke field. If you then do heartseeker you will be put into stealth.

In my opinion they give you a far amount of starter storage space. You start with a bag that holds 20 slots, your bank tab which holds 30 slots, and your material storage which holds all basic crafting materials.
