What events are you referring to that were removed. They still have the queen wurm, badits burning the hay, veteran elemental, and harpis event in the starter area.

I Even hit an event I hadn’t seen which was protecting the windmill from bandits.

Will you have people just taging and leaving maybe. But others will stay. Why worry about what others do.

Nope he is fine to use the key. Make sure he picks the same server you are on so you can WvW if you want to.

Just make sure it is a retailer from there list.

Also hopefully your getting at a discount because if you by the HoT expansion for him that comes with the core game for free.

Those are some old data usage tests for GW2. As you can see the upload uasage is much lower. I would stay with the 100/10

It probably resets with the guild missions. That just changed recently. I do key runs Mondays.

They never did the change yet and if that was the case I would of had the key Saturday since it was after Monday. It looks to be set up as a Full 7 days.

We all know you can only get the key once a week now. I completed it last Sunday so I figured it reset on Friday and ran it again this Saturday. That was not the case. At the end there was no key. So without accepting the reward I logged off the character till this morning. Just logged in with my key runner and the key was there.

So if anyone messes up the date of there last run just don’t except the reward till the key shows up. No point in wasting the time or scrolls for no key.

2 factor authentication doesn’t usually just turn itself on. You may want to check your recent logins. Someone may of accessed your account and added it to block you.

If you still have the old phone and are able to turn it on you can use the authenticator through the wifi to disable it from the account and then add your new phone.

Ascended gear is account bound so you can share it with your characters of the same armor class.

You should look at the api options and have it pull the info directly from the game

When the wardrobe rolled out the only skins added were ones currently in your inventory. If you deleted the items those skins are gone.

Why not just use a Xbox controller on you PC?

We have trains. There are champ trains, chest trains, karma trains, and etc.

The biggest change you’ll have is the trait system. At lvl 80 you’ll have enough points to unlock everything in the training tab on the hero panel. After that you can pick 3 trait lines that fit your play style or check out metabattle to see what people say are the optimal builds. Extotic gear is still fine or you can start crafting ascended. Weapons are easier and give a bigger boost. Amulets can be bought with laruls. Rings from fractals and accessories from guild missions. The rings and accessories can be bought with laruls as well but at a higher price.

I played DDO for about 6 years. I don’t remember a single raid having a hard timer sitting on the screen. There were some that had a stoft timer if you took too long you could easily get over whelmed with adds but you could still pull it off if you got lucky.

The ones I usually skip are Jorgam and triple wurm. I find the Jormag event long and boring. With Triple wurm the chance to fail is pretty high.

Are you using Windows 10. Try running GW2 in administrator mode and take a screen shot.

So there harder content is just a dps race again.

For the key it is only for last quest in the lvl 10 story arc.

With world bosses you have to do enough damage to receive the big chest on the map. With you still leveling and aap full of 80s it may be hard to hit that threshold.

You are going to need hero points to unlock druid so make sure you have done some of the maps hero challenges. I’m not sure how many you will need to unlock the new skills and trait line.

The $50 is the price of the expansion. The core game is included as a bonus at no cost.

Now wether you want to add the expansion to your current account with all your AP and leveled toon or start a brand new account from scratch is up to you.

No, the people that got the refund were the ones that just recently bought core game and then upgraded to HoT

Having a free account won’t help you much though since they can’t send items or gold in the mail.

I never liked the group system in this game. I actually see more abuse with this system than with a traditional party leader system.

Proposed solution: Implement a party leader system. When you form a party, you are the leader. Anyone in your party can invite other players, but you are the only one allowed to kick players. It’s a change they made to get around a number of problems with everyone losing progress if the leader dc’d. They had to remove ownership of the dungeon instance.

You could still have both tho. When the group if first created the person creating the group gets a special icon next to there portiat which shows they are the leader of the party. For that person the kick option is grayed out.

Other option could be added to such as being the only person that create lfg requests and inviting people to the group.

If that person dcs the icon is passed to the next person so the group can still function if he does not reconnect.

If you click on “My account” and the bring up security you should see the email verification listed. You could download an app for your desktop to use as an authenticator but that would cause issues since you said you play on different computers

I had that issue when I upgraded mine and tried the same thing as you did. The only way I’ve been able to fix it is by running GW2 in administrator mode. My Screens folder is in read-only mode and it won’t change even after unselecing it.

Maybe someone else will have a more permanent solution.

Thanks for the heads up. If you are sure on the info you should update the wiki. I just checked both the f2p and transfer section and neither say anything about f2p not being able to transfer.

I suppose he could just make a new f2p account on your correct server.

Lead GM Dornsinger helped me to solve this problem and I got my legendary shield back. Thanks to him I will continue to purchase gems, when something interesting shows up in the gemstore.

A net may not require ascended armor, but the raid leaders might.

I know a long time ago there was a splitter in the gem store that let you separate it back to the original two items. Some were mailed out to people that had the same issue you have. Now whether that is still an option Idk.

How are you transferring? Are you paying or deleting all your characters? If your paying your fine. If your deleting all your characters and they are the only ones in the guild I am not sure what happens to the guild.

I believe after you upgrade you have to close the client and then log back in. I think the character slots will take a couple days to get added

I understand why the restriction is there: to stop gold sellers and to make free play as uncomfortable as possible so people will buy the game, but….

if new players can’t ask for help, they’re going to be turned off of the game real quick.

You just downloaded the game, have no idea how to play, you have questions. The chat box is unavailable, there’s no indication that you can whisper people, you can’t make friends if you can’t talk — how do you even respond to guild recruitments?

First impression: not good.

If you didn’t spend any money on the game you have no real incentive to go any further. You just chalk it up as a waste of time and quit

…maybe even telling a few irl friends that you can’t even communicate (in an MMO!) if you don’t buy the game. The words P2W probably comes up (though not literally accurate) because if you put basic features behind a paywall those are the words that come to mind.

I’m guessing you didn’t even make a free account. If you did you would of seen that the chat box is sitting there just like it is for everyone else. It just defaults to /say.

You can only sell to the highest buy price which is currently 53 silver. So if put a bid in at 45 copper you would have a long wait till your other account made it down to you.

You can ask in a ticket. I wouldn’t tell them you bought them on the wrong account but you meant to gift them to a friend. Cause even if they refund the gems those gems will still be on that account.
