Well it says 39 of 40 complete. I don’t pvp very often but I believe there is a limit on how many points you can earn in a day in unranked matches. That could be the issue.
I do not have the specialization maxed out yet. Is that why I can’t equip the longbow?
No you don’t need to max it out. When you spend the first 30 points it unlockes longbow when you choose the dragon hunter in the trait line.
Question? I am using the same client but am not getting these errors even though I am running my settings on high. Wouldn’t this suggestion that maybe the errors are cause by how the motherboard and OS are handling memory management?
On channel skills the last number you see is the total damage that has been done so far thru the channel not how much damage you did with that single hit.

Are you using the bottom specialization slot, the one marked with the special border?
This specialization can only be put in the bottom slot. What this means too is when they add more specializations we won’t be able to mix them.
You also have to train it to first under the training tab for 30 hero points.
Guesting isn’t needed any more. All servers from the same region use the same mega server. If you happen to get into a different instance you can party up and then select join in map by clicking on there portiat.
The server transfer wait period is because of wvw.
I see a lot of complaints about the xp required to spend mastery points. What if there wasn’t the xp requirement? What if it was just going out and doing the task to unlock the point and then you could spend that point right away? Would this of made them happier with the system?
Why hide from your guild. If they talk to you just say you don’t feel like chatting tonight.
There will be a learning curve for the new area. Maybe for the time being pick up some defensive gear until you get use to the encounters.
Yep I’ve been enjoying. Playing with my lvl 80 revenant doing the personal story getting HP along the way for my elete spec and getting experience for my mastery.
I mean the one you have there is pretty easy. You have 30 minutes to win one match. Now if your looking for pve use the gear and select pve and then next Monday you will have pve option like kill one bounty.
Continue with support. Make sure they understand you had the core game and added the HoT code to an existing account.
Yes you can get a refund for just the expansion as long as you’re in the 30 day window and bought it from Anet.
Probably not so much an account issue as more of a bug.
most of the oom crashes i have seen have been to do with nvidia cards… most people i know running AMD are having next to no issue, im curious to know if anyone using an amd platform has had problems?

There is a memory leak and it is a problem. I can literally watch it. With task manager open on a side monitor, I can watch the GW2.exe process use more, and more, and more memory. I’ve got 16 GB of ram, so I can play for a good chunk of time before it catches me. I feel for those with 8 GB or less…
Anything with a large amount of “things” going on, like world boss fights, and EotM/WvW shows this happening quickly.
I have only 4 gigs of memory running windows 10 64bit and have never got an OOM error. I do world bosses, wvw and play for hours at a time with the highest settings that still give a good fram rate. I’m not sure why you are getting crashes and I’m not, but it would say to me it is something in your system.
Hmmm….interesting. Thanks for the feedback; it helps if you guys are saying I won’t miss much. These boosts on my 3 old characters only are to level 20 and 30. Don’t think I have anything that gets me beyond that point. I have not tried to mail them to other characters yet.
You won’t mail them. You have to put them in your bank and then your other character can take them out.
The trainer teaches you the craft skill. There will be a crafting station near by. When you go up to it there will be an option to press F for the jewel crafting station. When you press F it will open the crafting menu.

Supplying a new code to a banned account will not unban it. You have to get it unlocked by CS before applying a new code. You will have to continue with CS and let them know you already added a new code to the account.
Pressing H brings up the hero window which will show your crafting skills, but to actually craft you have to go to a crafting station for that craft. Crafting stations can be found in starting cities and other areas around the maps.

400 hero points is steep, i did feel like maybe slightly too high, but to outright Say theres 0 justification to it.. and nothing to do after u’ve done it is just bullcrap, i did feel it should be on the Same sorta guideline of grind for any other Specialization, as these elites are ment to ADD to the proffession and not replace it, so the reasoning for it to be so much higher then the rest is ridiculous.
but at the end of the day, some inconviences exist.
When I picked my profession at launch, I got to play as it. I didn’t need to play anything else to unlock it. I could use all of the weapons, and only with about a 5 minute commitment I could use all weapons.
I could use the hero points to get other things like sigils, signets, meditations, etc… and that’s fine because the costs were reasonable and well within my level range.
Currently, I’ll have to complete the entire expansions Hero Challenges to actually get to play Dragon Hunter at lvl 80 capacity, so I can do all the wonderful PvE stuff you were talking about: world bosses, dungeons, raids, etc… Except for half that stuff, I’ve already done it plenty of times. I’ll do all the new content with my normal Guardian, so I can get Dragon Hunter, and do all the stuff I’ve been doing over and over and over again.
I’m not asking for something for free; I’m asking to be able to play something I paid money to have access to in a reasonable amount of time, at a reasonable point of the game.
You can unlock your elite spec with just 65 hero points. After that the other points unlock traits and skills for that spec.
Would you want them added if it ment lower the other stats it already has.
It’s under controls. You have to set a toggel key for it. I set mine to F10 for the time being.

It’s not about the price, but the usefulness of the item. If there was a change in the game that removed plant nodes would you ask for a refund on your infinite gathering?
Some you are getting if you only have the core game like the camera settings, wvw map and I believe the spvp. Stuff like the specialization, Revalent class, HoT maps and masteries will be for those that bought the expansion.

- You are filthy rich and bought your way to 300% mf through ToT bags or whatever means
- You salvage items bought from the TP to resale the broken down materials for a profit
There is zero reason to give people gold (because that is what this sink is about, turning something you have no use for into something profitable) for essence of luck, non.
But here is an idea:
- Turn in a stack of exotic essence of luck for a stack of bloodstone dust/dragonite ore/empyreal fragments
Good thing not all players are salty for no reason like this guy god forbid it affects players besides him.
Someone disagrees with me, better call him salty without providing any arguments why essense of luck should get a sink.
Just a question, how do I get to Neverland? Might as well ask an inhabitant.
That’s an interesting statement for someone, who posted something that mostly translates into “someone reached 300 MF before me – better call them greedy regardless of how they reached the cap, what kind of luck sink they expect (profit generating or not…) etc.”.
You also didn’t provide any arguments why there should not be a sink (calling everyone who disagrees with you greedy is not a valid argument btw.).
Let’s just be glad that the decision in that regard isn’t made by you but by people who actually know whether it is a good idea to have useless items in the game and in what extend a sink for said items would affect the economy of the game. The fact that there already are some recipes that use luck essences shows that those people at least think there should be other uses for luck. It’s just a question of whether there will be additional ones to make the sink for the huge amounts of luck you get from different sources more efficient…
sigh, I also said in this thread that the only reason why essense of luck is even in the game is because magic find gear was selfish towards other players that did not use that gear and were doing more overal while getting less.
To that extent, essence of luck and reaching 300% MF served it’s purpose. There is zero reason to give it additional value beside its use to magic find.No one here in this thread gives arguments why essence of luck should get additional sinks others than ‘I hit the mf cap, now I want more’. It’s just not a valid argument because the sole purpose we get essence of luck is to reach 300%.
Everything that drops should have a use. Even if it is small like a few copper to a vendor. For these people there is currently no use for luck
gray items want to have a word with you, also essense of luck has uses untill you hit 300% after that its a gray item
If your refer to junk items they can be sold or turned in to heart collectors. Now there is a bug where a few heart items continue to drop even after the heart is completed, but that is a bug.

They could add a vender were you could exchange a stack of luck in for a luck booster. That way they are not getting gold but there is still a use for luck after you cap it.
When and where did you buy the core game from. They was a refund if you bought it from Anet during a set time period.

Now your past that July 31 and Anet doesn’t sell just the core game any more so I’m guessing you got it from a third party retailer. You could talk to them about a refund but that would close your account and you would probably have to start a brand new one with the HoT expansion which includes the core game for free.

You could look to see if it has a virtual keyboard option, but you’ll be stuck sitting there taping the W key.
If you do run a personal story step that should reward a key but does not give it just don’t click accept. Log out and wait till the weekly reset. The key will show up when you log back in with that character.
Armor of earth can help. It is a stunbreaker and also gives stability. Also glyph of storms in earth for area of effect blinds.

Nope they haven’t and they won’t because they will not endorse any third party software. As long as you keep it to one key one action you should be fine.
If you want to see if it is better to salvage or sell look at the price of the item and then look at the price of the mats that item can give. Now when you salvage an item there is a random factor on how much you will get to take into account. I think you will find in most cases it is better to salvage and sell.
Now to do this with every item is time consuming. Time which could be spent getting more items which is why most say to salvage everything.
In the north east area of this map there is path that goes to a cave with a good supply of copper ore.
Well, we can’t answer for sure BUT, since you need to be level 80, and at level 80 you have points enough to unlock everything … I will assume yes, you do need.
See I would say you don’t need to unlock all the core traits first since each is going to have it’s own separate wheel. If you didn’t want to do hero challenges you could save your hero points at 80. Unlock the two core lines you plan on using and then use the other hero points for the elite spec trait line. But like was said we don’t know for sure.

List the current popular builds in each of the three game mode. For equipment you’ll be looking to start with exotics and then upgrade to ascended later which is timegated gear. You’ll find berserker stats are what most people run. Depending on your supply of laurals you can get an ascended amulet. You can also by rings and accessories with those too but they can be bought elsewhere cheeper. Rings from fractals and accessories from guild missions.
They have introduced the husks which have a higher armor.
This applies to lvl 80. At lvl you will have enough to unlock all trait lines. After the trait lines have been unlocked you can freely switch. To unlock the trait lines you need to go to the training tab under the hero menu.
For non 80s they rebuilt your character using hero points. You will get hero points from lvling and from hero challenges to unlock other lines.
